Between Two Hearts

Between Two Hearts
Chapter 79

The events before Kenzo disappeared.

Kenzo returns home after delivering Kayla to her contract. His body shivered because of the clothes that were soaked in rain.

He did not wear a jacket because he gave it to Kayla so that the girl would not get cold and sick.

Kenzo decides not to see Kayla again because he does not want to make her awkward because he has rejected her feelings. He also decided to continue studying abroad due to the coercion of his father and grandfather.

Although Kenzo is forced to go through all, but his heart and mind will still have one owner, Kayla.

His feet stepped into the house, then stepped back up the stairs to his private room.

Before he could step on the stairs, the sound of barito someone heard reprimanding made himself stop pecking on the spot.

"Where have you been Ken, this hour just got home? Rain again," Kenji stood on his waist.

Not intending to answer the question but Kenzo sighed instead, then continued his steps back to climb the stairs.

"Kenzo! Daddy's asking and you don't heed Daddy's reprimand, heh!" his voice was high because the child ignored him.

Kenzo harrumphed, "Males," Kenzo's short speech provoked Kenji's emotions. As a father, he wanted to be respected.

"Kenzo! Is this what Mommy taught you when there is no Daddy at home? Dismissing," cried Kenji full of emotion.

Hearing these words, Kenzo turned back down the stairs and moved closer to his father. A face full of anger with clenched hands revealed veins all over the fist. "Don't bring Mommy in on this because I'm like this just because of Daddy and Opa!"

Mr. Kenji was also provoked by his emotions because his son's index finger pointed at the face. His hand immediately brushed off his son's fingers while snapping. "Kenzo! You are too wild and uneducated. From now on, Daddy will punish you for not going out and taking you to Opa's place!" kenji snapped and continued his words again. "We should have done this a long time ago" he hissed at Kenzo's cynics.

Kenzo just clenched his hands with a reddened face full of anger. One could imagine his expression at this moment when his father said such a thing.

From inside came Kelly followed Khanza behind him. "Dad, what's wrong? Why are you screaming?!"

Kenji turned his head towards his first wife and daughter, then glanced at his son who was still drowning in anger. "Tomorrow Daddy will speed up your marriage and Alinka so you learn the name of responsibility" he said lightly.

All eyes turned. "What's? Daddy Intent ... Kenzo's getting married young?"

"Why? What is wrong with a young marriage? After all he will live a good life because he inherited power from Opa and his family Alinka, as well as he can learn how to respect parents." kelakar Kenji with a mocking grin.

Kelly tried to persuade. "But Dad, Kenzo's not ready for that yet. Anyway we haven't talked about it yet" the woman continued to follow in her husband's footsteps.

While Kenzo was silent digesting his father's words, Khanza stared fixedly at his sister's face and followed her mother's steps to persuade her father. "Dad, don't do it! Think of decisions based on mature thinking. Kenzo's a kid for a wedding, Dad."

"really. My son still does not understand what it is to build a household. So please think carefully about your decision" Kelly said.

The two women of different ages continued to follow Kenji wherever he stepped even into the room, only to persuade him to cancel the decision taken earlier. While Kenji remained in his stance that he never wanted to be refuted in the slightest.

Rainwater still dripped from his hair soaking around the face, t-shirts and jeans worn soaking wet. If he didn't change his clothes right now, Kenzo would have gotten into the wind from the cold.

His skin began to pale and freeze. Plus the cold from the house AC that was lit made him shudder from the cold. But anger at his father's decision burns Kenzo's heart to the heat.

The young man stepped foot out, then rode back on his sport bike. The motor engine roared loudly, then drove quickly to leave the courtyard of the luxury house through the heavy rain.

"Kenzo!" kelly's call wasn't given to his youngest son. "Ken, don't go!" he shouted again but Kenzo had already passed through the gate of the house and shot very quickly.

Khanza hugged the mother's body to help support the weak body that shook violently from crying. The two women hugged each other while staring at Kenzo's hasty departure without saying goodbye.

They were very worried about Kenzo because it was night and it was still raining very hard.

What if something happens to her?

Oh, blimey!

Comeon!

However Kenzo remains an ordinary human being who cannot withstand such extreme weather.

The night wind made his body shiver, plus a very heavy rain. Kenzo could have fainted on the street.

But Kenzo himself did not care what would happen to him. Right now his mind is messed up because his father never wants to understand his feelings. Although Kenzo was cold, but he still drove his bike with above average speed.

There was nowhere he could turn now other than one place - his grandmother's hometown. Only the mother of his mother always understood Kenzo's circumstances and feelings. His grandmother was always attentive and never forced anything on him, unlike the father and mother of his father who always forced and demanded perfection from Kenzo.

Perhaps because his father came from a wealthy family who must always be perfect in any case, to make Kenzo a perfect person in all things.

They tend to pamper Kenzo with their wealth until he grows up to be a proud and cruel young man.

But, ever since he got close to Kayla, Kenzo has changed a lot. He's not like the old Kenzo, who likes to play around in anything including his feelings.

Kenzo's personality changes. He could have more respect for anyone including the parapelayan at home. Kenji and his father should be grateful that his son has now changed for the better, instead of demanding him to do whatever they want.

The usual trip was almost three hours longer, Kenzo only spent an hour and a half. You can imagine how fast he spurred the pace of his vehicle to get to his grandmother's house in Bandung.

The cold gnawed at his body but he ignored it. His skin had turned blue from the cold even very cold to the touch.

How surprised the grandmother was when she found her grandson at the door with a pale and soaked face. Soon the grandmother told her granddaughter to go inside and give her warm food and drinks so that the grandson would not get sick.

However, Kenzo was still sick because he had been rained for hours until his body was shivering with pale skin.
