Between Two Hearts

Between Two Hearts
Chapter 114

Dara was stunned for a moment, she clung to the wall outside the VVIP room which is now the place where Windu was treated.

Any explanation from the Kidney specialist who treated Windu,

" From the results of a complete examination and lab tests, I concluded that the disease suffered by Mr. Windu leads to a disease called horseshoe kidney."

"Horsesea kidney?"

"In medicine it is commonly referred to as horseshoe kidney or fusion anomaly."

Dara was silent for a moment, she did not know how to whistle, only her mouth opened just like that. Trying to understand what the doctor said that was old enough.

"But, doc. He rarely gives any complaints about his illness except the last few days.""

"Horse poultice kidneys will usually be detected on incidental abdominal imaging. In fact, horseshoe kidneys are often accidentally taken on imaging studies done for other reasons. However, when symptoms are detected, they are usually unintentionally associated with abnormalities in the flow of urine that are created due to the abnormal location and orientation of the kidneys. This disorder is not detected if not by imaging, even in some cases does not show significant symptoms. Because yesterday there was suspicion with the results of blood tests and urine tests from the patient so there was imaging to see the structure of the patient's kidneys."

Dara did not really understand what this doctor said, she just looked at the doctor Niko who was accompanying her earlier.

"What is horseshoe kidney? likewhat? the tumor ? a cancer?" ask dara with trembling lips.

"The horseshoe kidney is not a tumor or cancer, it is a disorder that occurs in the structure of the kidney. As said, it is, horseshoe kidneys are anomalous function fusion anomalies which means they occur when one kidney attaches to another. This will occur due to interference with the normal migration process of both kidneys. Slightly rarer is the phenomenon in which abnormal migration affects only one kidney than the other, leading to both kidneys existing on one side of the spine. In a typical horseshoe kidney, the lower poles of the kidney will fuse together and therefore give rise to a distinctive horseshoe shape, so it is called a horseshoe kidney."

Dara looked at the kidney doctor with a look that could not be expressed in words, she was like a person who was blank, trying to understand the situation.

"Is this bad?"

"If no major complications or symptoms appear, and kidney function is normal, no further treatment is needed. However patients should remain warned about the susceptibility of their kidneys to the blunt abdominal trauma that may occur. If any complications are noted due to obstruction of urine flow, the patient should be evaluated by a specialist to determine further action and to see if surgical correction can relieve the obstruction."

"My husband, will he be okay?"

"Our hope, the mother's husband will be fine, the patient will stay a few days for treatment but as our doctor advises to keep doing further checks. Looking at the condition of the kidneys now, we estimate the complaints for this disease not only the last few weeks as the patient's statement but likely already lasted quite a long time, it's just that the patient did not check it."

Dara was stunned, she knew however the way from the doctor to simplify the information about her husband's situation, Dara felt that Windu was actually much more serious than what he heard.

"Mother, your husband is looking for you." a nurse who had just walked out of Windu's room made Dara realize that she was still stuck facing the wall.

Dara wiped the tears that had come down through the corner of her eyes, she did not want to look so sad when faced with her husband.

With a smile on his forced expand, he went into the room, found Windu was engrossed playing with his phone.

"Where are you, baby? it feels like you've been leaving me for hours." Windu took off his phone.

"I was just meeting with Niko's doctor and chatting for a while with the doctor who handled you."

"Oh, yes..is there a problem? when can I go home? I'm tired of it here."

"We should be here in a few days, the doctor says you're still in observation."

"Darling, why do you look so moody, what did Doctor Niko say?" Windu asked as Dara sat by his bed.

"Doctor Niko just said.you need rest, there's something you need to recover with your kidneys. So you need bedrest." Dara replied, throwing her face away, she was confused what to say to her husband about what the husband is suffering from now.

"If bedrest, we can do it at home. More comfortable and free."

"But I want to stay here for a while."

Windu grabbed Dara's fingers slowly, looking at his wife's slightly swollen eyes.

"You're keeping something from me." Windu said after the goal, Dara fell silent she lowered her face, somehow to hide her mood but Windu seemed to know her very well.

"Sister Win..."

The call, very rarely heard Windu lately, but now Dara said with a vibrating voice, indicating that everything is not okay.

"Why didn't Win say that Win's brother had been sick all this time?" two clear hairs fell from his eyelids that had been glazed over earlier.

"I'm sick? I've never felt pain, so I didn't say anything to you, why do you ask me that, baby?" Windu straightened his body which was leaning on the back of the bed.

"Sister Win couldn't possibly not feel any symptoms all this time, why did Brother Win lie to me? Brother Win doesn't love me?" The question was like a lash, in between the stuffing of Dara that could not be kept anymore.

"Hey, baby.anyone knows that I love you so much. Why are you asking that?" Windu looked at Dara with dismay, at the pull of the wife's body into his embrace, trying to calm him down.

"If Win loves me, Win won't do this to me. Did you know that Win promised me that he would share his joys and sorrows with me. Why for a problem this big brother Win keep it to himself."Dara was completely sobbed in Windu's arms.

"My wife, baby, why are you being so serious? It's just a common disease. People aren't always healthy, and now might be the time I meet her name sick. This is common. You make it a little excessive." Windu chuckled while patting his wife on the back.

"Why are you crying? Didn't you say I just need bedrest.come on, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow we'll be home."

"I'm just scared." Dara hugged Windu's body tightly.

"What are you afraid of? I'm really okay."

"I'm afraid anything will happen to you, I won't be able to live if anything happens to Brother Win."Dara hates herself. Windu laughed at the words his wife said.

"Don't be afraid, baby, nothing will happen to me. How could I let you die, if anything happened to me. I'll be fine to make sure my wife stays alive." Windu kissed Dara's forehead with a big laugh, hearing the words that his wife said so melancholy felt very funny in Windu's ears.
