You are the Only One
40. I'm Not Crying

Shxt. I can't say anything more. After listening to all the expectations he entrusted to me, I couldn't say no. I can not put forward my ego who actually wants to go forward to block the Bxjingan Bxjerkan Fucking it. The real one wants to hunt down his skinny ass and finish him off right now. I can't. I can't.

I have responsibilities here. Olavia has entrusted Oleander to me. And .. and the way he was when he referred to Oleander as our son.

Xxxxt. These words had instantly got me and tied me up within seconds after I heard it left her mouth.

"Later if I'm busy taking care of this and that, I ask you to take care of our son." Take care of our son. Our kids. Our kids.

There is no other word that deserves an answer than, "Okay. I'll take care of Ole. I will take care of our child with all my body and soul as I look after you. I'll make sure of that."

I knew that Olavia would not go to war in Afghanistan or want to do something extreme and life-threatening. I know he is not challenging death. I knew he wouldn't be far from us. However, this situation is no less serious for me because whatever decision is taken regarding this problem will certainly have a direct impact on Oleander. And we don't want our son to bear all the consequences of his parents' decision.

"Thank you." Olavia kissed my lips in passing. "Thank you because you want to understand my situation. Thank you for accepting me and seeing Oleander as your own son. I was honestly deeply moved when you said you wanted to make him your son in the eyes of the law as well after what you did for him all this time. No matter what happens in front, you should always remember that you are Oleander's father. Okay well? I don't want you to forget that fact for a second. Promise?"

Fxck. I can feel my tears welling up. What could be happier than all that Olavia had said? There's nothing. There is nothing happier than hearing Oleander's biological mother say that I am Oleander's father.

God damn. I am not crying. I am not fxcking. What the**** are you talking about? I am not fxcking. It's just I have something in my eye!

Olavia

It was humbling to see a man who looked always serious and frown outside turned out to have a smooth heart as smooth as cotton inside the chest of his field. It feels humbling to see a person like Angga who is usually rational and always relies on logic in his role as an entrepreneur once showed his humanity in front of their partner. As a pair of figures with a typical hard on the outside yet soft on the inside of this, I really made him feel humble when he watched those tear circles one by one fall and flow down my future husband's cheeks. I wiped her wet cheeks with my palm.

"Shxth. Dear. Sorry." which." He was in a hurry to erase the evidence of the overflow. "I'm not crying. These are my eyes just flickering."

I lowered my head to show a smile that threatened to burst open soon. He could have given such a classic excuse. Already from the age of baheula people say the sentence he just said just to save their face. Nope. That's not going to work for me. I guess he has to up his game at some point.

Ah, ah, ah. The giant polar bear is grumpy, brash, playful, but loves with all our heart. I hugged my big bear again. Tighter. Longer.

Oliver's voice greeted us as Olavia and I set foot on the ground floor of the stairs we had just descended. "Ah, ah, ah. Finally came too. I thought you guys got lost up there. So I wonder. Actually how big, anyway, this house to the point of needing–" He stopped the sentence to check the watch mounted on his right wrist to get a dramatic effect, "It's almost an hour just to go around the second floor?" My best friend's eyebrows go up and almost blend with his hairline that is still neat. Thanks to tons of hair products he applied.

I ignored Oliver's taunts and pointed Olavia at the sofa located in the middle of the room. "What do you want to drink?"

"It's cold like it's good, ngga."

"Okay. Wait here, yeah." I immediately walked towards the fridge which was visible from where Olavia was sitting to pick up a cold drink.

"Woy, Kunyuk! Don't forget to grab a drink for me too" Oliver cheered from the door of the room where he leaned his body when we got here earlier.

"Bang!" Olavia immediately rebuked his brother, but in a more controlled voice. "Don't yell, dong, ah! Oleander will be shocked."

I could not hear Oli's response or see how he was expressing it. I laughed and shook my head. Shxt. Between two grown men like me and Oli, no one dared to refute or challenge what the woman who was at most one hundred and sixty centimeters tall said in the best of conditions. Now coupled with the little boy who is still asleep in my guest room.

We're fxcked. I am whipped. And I want to have it any other way.

After taking one can of lemon soda that I had copied into a glass and two cans of beer from the refrigerator, I immediately turned to give it to my adored woman. He must have been so thirsty that he wanted a cold drink. Immediately I thrust the glass to Olavia who received it with thanks and a smile. At the time I gave a can of Bud Light to Oliver who knew he had joined his sister.

The three of us then drank in silence, making the yelling that sounded shortly after became even more deafening.
