What happened to HUMAIRO

What happened to HUMAIRO
#05

David was still alone sitting on the edge of a bridge, on the side of a highway. Cigarette ash from cigarette butts in his hands in his flick, making his ashes fly swept by the wind.

A few cigarette butts were strewn under his feet. Some were knocked down by the flow of cars driving on the highway.

From dawn he left the house. He was still thinking about the short message that Humairo had sent before dawn. I don't know, if he concluded his heart was currently happy, it certainly wouldn't make him uneasy like that. He suddenly felt guilty towards Ainul. He lamented the times when he was so free to chat with Humairo, calling him every night and every night after Maghrib, spending the night late.

I don't know when his heart started to change. Suddenly he felt uncomfortable Humairo to meet him, even on the phone Humairo also he now felt unsettled.

And last night, he forced himself to break his relationship with Humairo. Heavy indeed, but it was the only way that he could escape from Humairo. It was also for the good of Humairo.

He felt a little calm when he decided to end his relationship with Humairo. The plan today is to meet Ainul to strengthen his heart to get Humairo. But I don't know what happened that night, so suddenly Humairo told him that Ainul was ready to take it off. He felt it was too late to give his support to Ainul so he just gave up.

David picked up a cigarette in the bag behind his pocket. His long hair was blown by the wind. He nodded and turned his body. This time his eyes were far away into the sea. A white tower was seen on the opposite island, reminding him of his last choice. He had to decide immediately whether to be with Humairo at risk as a wrestler for someone's wife, or go across the land. David nodded steadily. After throwing away the cigarette in his hand, he stepped towards his motorcycle. A moment later he had driven with his motor through the road.

Humairo is still standing among the crowds of people passing by the beach. He occasionally looked at the cafe behind him, hoping to find David there. But after an hour more menuggu, not yet heard the voice of David greet him. Hustle and bustle of the sound of small children running around by the sea, making the mood of Humairo more chaotic. Plus with HP David that can not be contacted. He stopped by David's house, but his mother David said David had left the house since dawn. He thought David had read his message and was waiting for him at the place, but he did not find David. David's friends he contacted said David was not with them. And he doesn't know where to look anymore. He felt desperate and lonely in that crowded place. And he no longer knew where to put his foot. Without David, he felt like a chick that lost its mother. Try again pressing his HP button, hoping his last try succeeds. But nil, David still can not contact. Humairo stepped weakly towards his motorcycle. Feeling that David was not coming, he chose to go home.

In front of David's house, Humairo stopped his motorcycle. Bi Ijah, David's maid, who was watering the flowers at the time, was called to ask for David's whereabouts, but David had not returned home since his early morning exit.

During the journey, Humairo cried. David's disappearance today is a gesture to him that his relationship with David is truly over. The disappearance of David was a coincidence. No news and no messages. Much different than in previous days. Wherever David is, he will always be with him.

Humairo just left his motorcycle outside the house. His head felt so dizzy and throbbing. His thoughts about David had already drained the blood on his face. He looks pale with a faint look.

On arrival inside the house, he saw several pieces of banknotes on a table in the living room. Humairo's breath sounded roaring withstanding the suddenly mounting anger. Near the table and took the money.

Humairo walked into the kitchen. The knife hanging on the shelf was taken away. He then put the paper money on the table and he began to cut it one by one. Unsatisfied with that, he turned towards the corner of the kitchen where Ainul used to put the sack filled with rice. Usually, if there is money on the table, there must be rice as well.

Humairo stepped silently crying into his room. Absolutely nothing matters without David. Humairo's cry echoed in the room. The pain in his heart seemed to have no antidote other than David. But the antidote went nowhere. He was completely indifferent to her who was now in great sorrow.

Humairo lapsed weakly on top of his bed. Her tears continued to flow soaking down the pillow on which her head rested. From his mouth he called out David's name.

...*****...

The atmosphere inside and outside the house seemed pitch black when Ainul arrived home. Not usually the lights outside the house do not turn on. Although he knew Humairo often went out at night, but he never forgot to turn on the lights outside the house. Ainul thought there might be a short circuit when Humairo left him. But strangely, he found a Humairo motorcycle parked in the yard. Did Humairo fall asleep? or did David pick him up and forget to park his bike in a normal place?

Ainul turned on the flashlight on his phone. He then lifted the bike up onto the terrace and parked it in a normal place.

But not a moment later, Ainul suddenly grimaced in pain when something bit his leg. Ainul pranced as he began wagging his feet.

Back he pointed his flashlight down, and how surprised Ainul was when he saw a crowd of ants filling the porch of the house. Ainul pointed his flashlight in the other direction and he saw grains of rice streaking everywhere.

Ainul tried to pull the door. His feet were still on his tiptoes avoiding the crowd of ants that had started to be piqued by him. The door of the house turned out to be unlocked, and Ainul slowly stepped in. But just a few steps away, Ainul's foot slipped and fell on the floor. Ainul grimaced in pain, coupled with the ants that started biting his body. With great difficulty Ainul got up and felt the socket in the darkness. Until when he had found it and turned it on, he was so surprised to see the situation in the house. Granules of rice almost filled the living room until the road to the kitchen. Not only that, red ants were seen marching everywhere.

Slowly he checked the kitchen. He found the kitchen worse than the living room. Ainul's gaze was fixed on the dining table where he often put food. Ainul's eyes widened to see several pieces of money hundreds of thousands of rupiah cut into pieces on the table. That's one million and five hundred thousand rupiah, his wages as a marbot in the mosque. He shook his head not understanding what had happened in this house.

Ainul's emotions slowly began to spread to his crown. This time he had no time to be patient. He had to be angry and show Humairo that he had the dignity of being a human being.

Ainul stepped into Humairo's room. This time he was really angry, maybe even going to hit Humairo.
