What happened to HUMAIRO
#13

Humairo opened the lid of the food cover on the table. It was almost sublime, but Ainul, who was waiting for his return, never came. He hasn't eaten since this morning. Just a few chocolates he kept in the closet to prop up his hungry stomach.

Humairo gave a short sigh. Ainul should have been sitting on the blue plastic chair he had prepared. He would accompany her to eat with shame in the corner of the table. He would pay attention to which food he cooked, which Ainul liked most. That's what he imagined last night. He had been fighting not to eat, just so that he would have a chance to eat with Ainul today.

Humairo sighed and sat down. He did not know when Ainul would return. He had to eat even if it was just a few mouthfuls. It'sit's okay. If Ainul returns, he still has a chance to eat together.

Assalamualaikum!

I heard greetings from outside the house. Humairo. After drinking a few sips of water, he stepped out. Mrs Marhamah, a neighbor next to the house is seen standing at the door.

"Waalaikumsalam, what's wrong Mom" Humairo said kindly. It was the first time he had spoken to his neighbor since he married Ainul. Previously, he hated seeing his neighbors busy talking about it. It's possible that Ms. Marhamah will feel strange about her change of attitude today.

"Sorry Mom, this is a deposit for ustadz Ainul," said Marhamah's mother while giving a package to Humairo.

"What is this Mom" asked Humairo.

"That's a goldfish grilled order ustadz. Yesterday he ordered the same mother, he said ustadz wanted to eat goldfish. I'm the only one who forgot Mom, just this morning," said Ms. Marhamah with a smile.

"No, ma'am, we took it in the pool, we caught it specifically for Ainul ustadz" said Marhamah. Immediately saying goodbye.

Humairo stepped weakly back towards the kitchen. Arriving at the table, he took out three grilled goldfish from the crackle and placed them into a plate.

He sat back. He looked at the food he had not finished tasting. He was no longer eager to eat it. He closed it and went to his room.

Today Humairo really feels lonely. Ainul who never went home, whereas before the usual thing Ainul did, became something that was troubling for him. Ainul was used to going home late at night, but with his current condition, Humairo was very worried about him. It's more heartbreaking than losing a David.

Humairo crying. Her mother's last words have now come true. The heartfelt message of a mother that she has wasted on loving someone comes from something good in zahir. The glittering pearls are not necessarily seen from the luxurious display glass. It is first found in the hidden bottom of the ground and becomes something valuable when it is in the right hands.

I don't think time goes around so fast. When he was still dissolved in his lament and lamentation, the azan maghrib was heard singing melodiously, making the cries of Humairo even more so.

Humairo wiped his tears. He got up and stepped out of the house. He then sat in the corner of the terrace, where Ainul used to sleep. He rubbed the floor imagining Ainul lying there. He would wait for Ainul there, until whenever he came home. He wanted to feel how cold Ainul was while sleeping there. Even if he had to get sick, he would still be there waiting for Ainul to come home.
