What happened to HUMAIRO

What happened to HUMAIRO
#18

"Perhaps, what Ustadz Ainul wants to talk about is the purchase of my house in the next village. It just so happened that Ainul wanted to buy it. He paid half of it." Mr. Mujmal stared at Ainul. Ainul seemed to be nodding his head slowly. Humairo wiped his tears. He was curious about the house that Mr. Mujmal was talking about.

"Do you mean Mr, Austadz Ainul has a house?" humairo was closer.

"True Ma'am, I think ustadz has not occupied it, uh, when I was trying to check the security of the house, I was shocked because I found ustadz in this condition,"

"I'm so confused, Mom, I'm sorry, when I asked ustadz why I bought a new house when I had a house here, said ustadz, he was divorced from Humairo, ma'am," mister Mujmal's like looking for clarity.

Reach the people present in the house were surprised, especially Humairo. He really did not expect to hear such news. Her tears are back. He got up and immediately ran into his room. He dropped his body hard on his bed. He was so shocked to hear Mr. Mujmal's story. She never expected that Ainul would divorce her.

The people in the living room stared at each other. Ainul himself was seen crying. He seemed to want to say something, but he knew he would find it difficult to make people understand.

A young man was standing at the door. He was still looking for a way to enter among the people who were sitting. Seeing that, Mahmud told the man sitting by the door to give way.

"How is Nak Pardi, is doctor Kodar able to come," said Mr Mahmud when the man he called Pardi was already sitting nearby.

"Doctor Kodar told us to take him to Namira Pak clinic, he said, ustadz Ainul must be hospitalized," said Pardi. Mr. Mahmud nodded and looked towards Ainul. Ainul shook his head. He refused to be taken to the clinic.

"It is Ustadz, we beg you, Ustadz is pleased for us to bring to the clinic. Ustadz should get treatment immediately. We miss Ustadz as much as it was with us at the mosque as before. We miss it a lot Ustadz" said Mahmud, holding Ainul's hand. Ainul. Seeing the hopeful faces of the people in front of him, he resigned and handed it all over to Mr. Mahmud. But who now stuck in his heart, who will take care of him when he was in the clinic later.

"Ustadz need not worry, we will take turns guarding Ustadz," continued Mahmud as if he knew what Ainul had in mind. Ainul smiled and nodded small.

"Pardi, we're taking your car, yes, we're taking ustadz to the clinic tonight" Mahmud said. Pardi nodded and immediately stepped out.

Mahmud glanced at Humairo's half-open room. Her crying still sounded as much as in her room. Ainul raised his hand weakly and pointed towards a woman sitting by the side of the door. It was as if he was pointing the woman towards the room of Humairo.

"Mom, try to meet Mr. Humairo, maybe ustadz wants us to tell Mr. Humairo," said Mr. Mahmud trying to translate Ainul's movements. Again Ainul nodded.

The woman immediately got up from her seat and stepped into Humairo's room. He saw that Humairo was still lying face down on his bed. Slowly he knocked on the door. Humairo turned his head and slowly lifted his body. She wiped her tears with the edge of the blanket beside her.

"Mom" There was another call from outside the room. This time from Mahmud. Humairo got up and stepped out of the room. The people who sat looked at him. Humairo glanced sadly at Ainul. Ainul looked at him weakly.

"Yes, sir" said Humairo.

"We were forced to bring ustadz Ainul to the clinic, this is all on the advice of the doctor Kodar, God willing, we will take turns to look after Mr. Ustadz" said Mr. Mahmud. Humairo nodded weakly and returned to his room. Her crying broke again as she was already inside the room. He really doesn't know what to do. He really felt like a stranger among the people who were in his house. To make him even sadder, he felt he had no right to be followed to keep Ainul in the hospital.

The sound of cars outside the house. Mahmud immediately ordered some men to carry Ainul's body onto the car. The others he ordered to take pillows and mats for Ainul's preparation while in the hospital. The voices further drained Humairo's heart.

The voices slowly began to be inaudible along with the sound of the car outside the house. Apparently they were about to leave to take Ainul to the hospital.

Humairo suddenly got up. He ran out of the house. He shouted towards the car that was slowly moving forward.

"Wait!" shouted Humairo. See. He waved his hand at the person sitting behind the pickup truck. Humairo called one of the women who was standing not far from his house.

"Please tell them to stop, Mom, say, I want to come" Humairo said. The woman immediately approached the car. Humairo himself rushed into the house. Some clothes were taken out of the closet and put them in a bag.

"Mom, I'm tipping my house for a few days. In the refrigerator, there are some vegetables and fish, you can take them" Humairo said. He handed over the keys to the house and rushed to the car. The people on top of the car gave a seat to Humairo fitting to the right of Ainul's head that was lying down. Mahmud who was at the front turned his head. He offered Humairo a seat in front, but Humairo refused.

* * *

The pick-up car was speeding by rapidly splitting the silence of the night. The wind that blew due to the fast speed of the car, making people, including Humairo, cross-seek warmth behind their clothes. They sat down, trying to block Ainul's body from the wind.

Humairo took out a blanket from his bag and slowly spread it over Ainul. In the darkness, Ainul looked at her sadly. He never thought Humairo would take him to the hospital. He seems to have changed, perhaps since his departure. It's just that, his confidence or maybe also because of his trauma over the rude attitude of Humairo during this time that makes him continue to prejudge not good to Humairo.

But it's already happened. The ten days he had promised Humairo were over, and the talakpun had been taken away. Now, with the change of Humairo, he hopes to recover from his illness.
