What happened to HUMAIRO
#22

The clock on the wall is clanging. Sunlight was seen breaking through the sidelines of the building and hitting the grass in a small garden in front of the room where Ainul was treated. Outside, a few footsteps and the voices of the visitors were heard, awakening Humairo who was unconscious asleep after the dawn prayer.

Humairo immediately tidied up when a knock came from the door. He got up and opened the door.

"Good morning, Mom. In the name of Mr Ainul?" said a woman in an orange uniform from behind the door. Humairo nodded. The woman began to inspect food containers on the trolley she was pushing. After reading the names taped to the plastic, the woman took one container and gave it to Humairo.

"Come, ma'am," said the woman, turning over the trolley and leaving. Humairo smiled. After closing the door, he immediately brought food and placed it on the side table of the cage.

Humairo smiled towards Ainul who was just looking at him. A plastic chair near the table is brought to the gurney. He sat down next to Ainul's head.

"How are you, Ainul. Are you feeling better?" humairo asked gently with his friendly smile. Ainul nodded slowly. At first glance Humairo saw the smile behind Ainul's tightly-attached lips.

"Want breakfast?" ask Humairo.

Ainul.

"Later on," Ainul replied softly.

Humairo nodded. The blanket that Ainul was wearing. He glanced at the wall clock.

"Morning still. You wait for me to finish the bath first yes, we will have breakfast together," said Humairo. Then he got up. After picking up the towel in the closet, he stepped into the bathroom.

After putting his motorcycle in the parking lot, Revi immediately rushed towards the entrance of the clinic. The sitting guard stood up as Revi stopped in front of him.

"There's something I can help you with, ma'am," the security guard said. Revi smiles.

"Just want it, sir. Vip room number 10 where yes sir" asked Revi while looking at the note in his hand.

"Please let mom in. The room is close by from here. It's sequence number one. I just walked and saw the numbers on the doorstep of each room" the security guard said, pointing to room number one not far from the gate. Revi smiles.

"Thank you, sir." Revi then stepped in.

Humairo opened the plastic lid covering the food container. It's 8 in the morning. It was time for Ainul to have breakfast. There were three bowls of food available inside that container. One by one, Humairo put it on the table. He then put one by one side dishes and vegetables into a bowl of rice. He sat down in a chair near Ainul.

"Come, it's time for breakfast. Let me take a bribe" said Humairo. Ainul stared at Humairo. Humairo smiled nodding his head.

"Let me eat alone," Ainul replied in a hoarse voice. Humairo smiled.

"I'm sure your hands aren't too strong to lift a mouthful into your mouth. But it's okay to try" Humairo said. He gave the spoon he held to Ainul. The bowl of food he held in his hand.

With trembling hands, Ainul tried to lift a mouthful into his mouth. Not yet at his mouth, his trembling hand made the food inside the spoon fall scattered on his lap. Humairo immediately took off the bowl in his hand and swiftly cleaned up the food that had fallen on Ainul's body.

Humairo smiled. The spoon in Ainul's hand was taken away.

"It's okay. For one or two days, let me take a bribe. God willing, in two days his strength will recover" said Humairo. He then took the bowl on the table and began to feed it into Ainul's mouth.

There was a knock from the door.

"Please come in" said Humairo. He thought, it was the nurse who used to check Ainul . Usually they will open the door themselves when there is permission from the occupants of the room.

Slowly the door opened. Revi appeared from behind the door. Humairo who never saw Revi just smiled. It was not the nurse who used to go in to check on Ainul. Her clothes are like the clothes of visitors. Maybe he's a visitor who's looking for his family who's being treated at the clinic. But there was something strange when Humairo saw the gaze of the woman's eyes that alternately looked at him and looked at Ainul. When he turned to look at Ainul, he saw something strange also on Ainul's gaze. It seemed, both Ainul and the woman knew each other.

"You find out who, brother," Humairo said when he saw the woman just standing there holding the door. The woman just fell silent. His gaze was now focused on Ainul. He seemed to shake his head. Humairo scrunched his forehead. He saw the woman crying. Just as Humairo was about to approach her, the woman retreated and closed the door.

Humairo turned his head towards Ainul as his index finger was directed towards the door. Like asking for an explanation. Ainul sighed and lowered his head.

"Do you know him?" humairo asked as he sat back near Ainul. For a while Ainul remained silent and then nodded weakly.

"He's Revi, my future wife," Ainul replied. Humairo. Spontaneously he got up and immediately ran towards the door. After opening the door, he again ran after Revi.

"Sister, wait!" humairo shouted with gasping breath. He held onto his chest as he continued to wave his hand for Revi to stop, but Revi had already boarded his motorcycle and darted quickly leaving the clinic parking area.

Humairo let out a long sigh and sighed softly, trying to stabilize his breathing. His stomach suddenly hurt from running. He turned around and stepped towards Ainul's room.

Humairo looked at Ainul weakly while leaning against the door. He still looks exhausted. Ainul lowered his face. Revi must be disappointed to see him with Humairo. He must have thought that he lied about divorcing Humairo. He sighed resignedly.

Humairo approached and sat down. He returned to get the food bowl. As he was about to feed Ainul, Ainul raised his hand to prevent him.

"Enough, I'm full. Thank you," Ainul said weakly.

"But only twice a bribe, Ainul. Eat again, let your strength recover quickly" said Humairo. Ainul shook his head. Humairo. He took the bowl in his hand on the table. He then looked at Ainul fixedly. He knew Ainul's feelings when this was messed up because of the incident. Ainul's future wife must have assumed a no-no to them. But it should be that, with Ainul's condition, he shouldn't have quickly left like that without asking for an explanation.

"I'm sorry about what happened. I really don't know. I've never seen him before. If you have the number, let me call him, ", said Humairo. Ainul smiled slightly. He shook his head.

"No need. What happened let it happen,"

"Don't say that, Ainul. It turns out that giving up and giving up is your weakness, Ainul. You took your leave before you were really determined to pursue him" Humairo said. Ainul stared into the face of Humairo. Both of his eyes looked bright. His lips were about to say something. But her tears are spilling. Humairo. He patted softly on the back of the palm. He regretted saying that to Ainul.

"I'm sorry" Humairo said softly. He then placed the food bowl on the table. He then stepped onto the long bench where he slept last night. He then slowly stretched his body. He then covered his face with a blanket. In silence, Humairo cried.
