...Happy Reading's...
Sherlyn looked around her campus cafeteria, today exactly one week after the attack. Although the bruise has not completely disappeared, but now he looks much better and decided to take back his college hours that had been left behind.
“Since when did Chris and Tyron look so familiar?”
Sherlyn stared at Kate's index finger, a few feet from where they were standing, and Tyron and Chris were seen chatting casually. Sherlyn just fell silent, instant ramen was so tempting a few minutes ago. But now, seeing Tyron and Chris make his appetite decrease.
“Come we find a place!”
Suddenly Angle pulls his arm, Sherlyn becomes nervous as Angle directs him to Tyron and Chris' table. Without saying anything, Angle sat next to Tyron and also forced him to sit next to Chris. Kate, who doesn't know how, just sits next to Angle.
“I think the last time we were like this was when Tripe Date, I was right?”
Angle tried to melt the atmosphere, Sherlyn was nervous again, especially she felt Chris continued to look at her without blinking, it made her very uncomfortable.
“Andrew!”
‘Oh God!’
Kate yells and waves at Andrew, Sherlyn getting nervous as Andrew approaches them. Andrew took a chair and sat down next to Sherlyn, making himself the boundary between Chris and Sherlyn. Chris who felt removed stared intently at the man.
“You okay Lyn? It's been almost a week you haven't come to campus.”
Andrew started making noises. Sherlyn scratched her nape nervously, strangely talking to someone who was silent - silently wanting to kill you. Fear, anger, sadness, confusion, have mixed into one.
“Your hand why Andrew?!”
Angel asked half-screaming. The views of the six of them turned on Andrew's left hand which looks thick scratches about 15 inches that are still so wet.
Sherlyn flinched, she quickly clasped Andrew's hand and stared at the scratches carefully. Chris and Tyron who saw Sherlyn suddenly clasping Andrew's hands looked at the girl flat. Angle, who saw Tyron and Chris' faces so cold, tried to thump and resuscitate Sherlyn. Did Sherlyn not realize how jealous the two men were?
Sherlyn stared and rubbed the wound gently, she recalled this wound. The wounds he had seen before on that terrible night. Or maybe...
Sherlyn's gaze now rested on Andrew's face, she could clearly see Andrew looking at her with a faint smile, but her eyes were looking at her. Sherlyn was staring, the same gaze she had seen before.
“Sherlyn, are you okay?” Kate asked, making Sherlyn stare at him.
“Don't say you're still thinking about that werewolf.”
Angle chuckled amusedly, Sherlyn stared at him fiercely. Kate can only be silent, at first the werewolf was a joke for her, but seeing Sherlyn who was trying to find, she began to doubt the werewolf was just a joke.
“Wolf man?” Tyron looked startled and looked at Angle full of question marks.
“Sherlyn said if the one who helped her was a werewolf, that girl was so cute wasn't she?”
Angle looks broken. Sherlyn snatched away an irritated, wanting to feel like she was punching the sweet girl. Maybe he said about his secret to these three men in front of him. Sherlyn looked at the three men, in fact she also did not blame Angle too much by saying that, anyway she also wanted to know how the reaction of the three men full of question marks.
Sherlyn looked at Andrew, the man was seen chuckling at Angle's words. Tyron, the man looked at him with a meaningful smile, Sherlyn frowned looking at Tyron, was he giving her a code? Chris, the man just looked at her flatly as if he didn't care.
“How is tomorrow's match between Chris and Andrew?” Ask Angle enthusiastically.
“Games?” Sherlyn looked at the girl in confusion.
“I taught Chris basketball, if he wins you should praise me.” Tyron said confidently.
Angle let out a heavy sigh and Kate just squinted her eyes. Sherlyn just chuckles at the reactions of her best friends, as if they have to admit that Tyron sucks.
...----------------...
“Sherlyn!”
Sherlyn turned and looked at Andrew who was running towards her, Sherlyn became nervous. Moreover, they were in a very quiet library hallway. Andrew wouldn't stab him, would he? He can't be sure if the one who attacked him was Andrew, but his dream a few days ago seemed to be a sign for him.
“There is an event after college?” Ask Andrew with a faint smile. Sherlyn looked at Andrew nervously.
“Ah, I..”.
“Just my feelings, or have you been avoiding me lately?”
Sherlyn scratched her nape that was not itchy, indeed after the stabbing incident Chris on the rooftop he tried as much as possible to give distance to Andrew, but he did not know if Andrew would realize it.
“Are you trying to hurt me, Drew?"
Sherlyn could see clearly if Andrew was shocked, Sherlyn smiled wryly, was Andrew surprised that he knew it? Sherlyn let out a heavy sigh, in fact she did not want to say such a thing to Andrew, moreover she still did not have any proof.
But such thoughts continue to haunt him these days and it could drive him crazy. The murders, Chris and the werewolf, all frustrated him for not being able to make sense.
“You're talking what Sherlyn?” Andrew asked with a small laugh, as if he was just joking.
“You stabbed Chris on the rooftop, right? This letter, this letter becomes my only proof!” Sherlyn handed him a piece of paper that Andrew had put in his locker. And he still keeps it to this day.
‘I wait in Rooftop after school, My Queen’
Sherlyn smiled obliquely, it should have been the last paper she saw in her life, the paper that would have been her deathbed if Chris had not helped her. But now, the paper became a weapon that turned against the perpetrator.
“I did call you Queen, but I swear I never wrote this kind of letter, Sherlyn! While waiting for you, I played basketball, I trained to play Chris!”
Andrew said excitedly and tightly held Sherlyn's shoulder, so this is what caused Sherlyn to move away from him? It hurts so much if Sherlyn stays away from him for fear of being hurt by him.
“You have to trust me Lyn! I can't hurt you, never will!” Andrew looked into Sherlyn's eyes. Sherlyn has to trust him, Sherlyn has to trust him.
“Quite Drew!”
Andrew flinched when suddenly Sherlyn's body was pulled by someone, making his grip on Sherlyn's shoulder slip apart. Andrew clenched his hand tightly as he looked at Tyron who was tightly grasping Sherlyn's hand.
“I'll take care of Sherlyn! And I won't let anyone hurt her, that includes you!”
Sherlyn flinched with Tyron's sharp speech, as did Andrew. Since when did Tyron look so dignified like this? Sherlyn and Andrew can't even say anything.
Andrew remained silent as Tyron led Sherlyn away from him, only to realize when the backs of the two men disappeared behind the wall.
“Arg! Fucking tyron!”
Andrew's breath was stirring, again and again the blond man became his problem. As if he always lost to her to get Sherlyn. This should not be allowed, he should give a lesson to Tyron.
To be continue...
