6. Magic Gate

Finally, after three years of Kai living as an ordinary human, he was able to reuse his Edha Sword.

Edha's sword is one of the 11 Master's swords that are only passed down on the sons of Gamma's daughters.The 11 Master's swords are a legacy of the legendary mages of the former Gamma family.

Kai's Edha Sword was one of the strongest. The sword was considered a holy sword because it could absorb one's dark power and neutralize it before it was transferred to the sword owner.

Edha's sword strength will continue to grow, as will his owner. But if Edha's sword absorbs too much dark power, then it could boomerang for Kai if it can't control it. Because Kai still hasn't mastered Rein's magic (a naturally occurring magic. Great Magic power that can be used without using a weapon. Rein magic is also one of the conditions for magicians who want to reach the final form of their power called Pyua).

Within seconds, Kai and Rex had arrived at Isla's home. The two had just used teleportation magic by swapping their bodies for two trash cans on the streets. Hopefully no one will complain because the trash cans in that place always disappear.

The grey house was empty. Even the bright rays of the Emrys Heirloom did not glow, indicating that Isla was currently asleep. Two security guards were walking around the compound while chatting with each other. Kai and Rex were hiding in a shady tree. They had just darted towards Isla's house when the two guards had gone far enough.

Arriving in front of Isla's window, Kai grabs her curtains and assures her that Isla is really inside. With Rex's help, in an instant the trellis on the window had disappeared. The two figures looked like thieves in action.

Kai rushed into Isla's room, resting on the table slowly so as not to make a sound. The girl was sleeping with her body facing the wall. It should have brought him in such a state would not have caused any trouble.

It was Kai's initial plan, to take Isla by force and to explain his case when they arrived at Amalthea. But alas, the sensitivity that Isla has also worked while she was asleep.

"You? That teacher?!" exclaim Isla. His eyes widened after realizing that the figure that infiltrated into his room was a BK teacher at his school.

"So right, you've been spying on me. What do you want? Who are you really?!"

"I'm sorry Isla. It might surprise you a bit, but I came here because I had a job. And that duty requires me to take you to a place."

"So you're going to kidnap me? Wh-wh-what for? I'm not even an important person."

"You may not consider yourself important in this place. But where I come from, what you have is a life for all of us."

Kai was surprised Isla did not shout out loud when someone who might endanger her suddenly infiltrated into the room.

"I wonder why you're not yelling? Can't I really hurt you?"

Hearing that Isla was still silent. He was seen trying to look at the look on Kai's face, who was smiling, the girl also glanced at a sword hanging from the man's waist. But for some reason, Isla even lowered the knife that was still tightly held in her hand.

"Why? You're not afraid of me?" asked Kai, more astonished.

"No. But I want to hear an explanation. What do you mean that you have a duty to take me? Who the hell are you?"

"I'll explain it to you. But before that I want to know one thing. How do you know that I'm the one who spied on you a while ago. Do you have any special abilities?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"Because of the explanation you want, it might be connected to what's happening to you right now."

Isla stared fixedly at the brown-haired young man. As if looking for a lie that might lead him astray. Isla can detect the aura and the whereabouts of others, so it is likely that she can see the person she is dealing with will do something bad to her or not.

Isla then placed the knife she had held in the drawer. Kai watched that closely, it seemed that Isla had calmed down by now. This made Kai even more curious, because if Isla was just an ordinary girl, there was no way she would react this calmly. At least he had to scream loudly to find help. Since Rex was still hiding himself, he did not want the girl to be surprised to see a cat talking and greeting him in the middle of the night.

"I can indeed detect the aura and whereabouts of others even though you are hiding within ten meters of my place. I can also feel the positive and negative auras of others, and it is because of this excess that I become excessively alert and people stay away from me."

"When exactly did that start happening?"

"You can call me Kai. I am the witch of Amalthea. Right now my job is to find the last remaining part of Emrys' heirloom. But when I found it, it was living inside your body."

Kai immediately sharpened his ears and ran towards the window. Just then a reddish-black lightning appeared to be drawn in the dark sky. Nothing is more surprising than this, even worse. They found this place much faster than Kai had expected.

"Isla, can you trust me right now?"

Isla did not reply because she was still fixated on the figure of Rex who sat sweetly not far from her. The hairy creature was trying to explain its presence, but the girl was getting more and more frightened.

"Ishla! Isla!"

"What?" isla shouted as Kai just shook - shaking his shoulder to make him aware.

"We have to go!"

"What do you mean?"

"I'll explain everything to you later. But we have to go, now!"

"But..."

"There's no time Miss, you better not let go of us."

Isla could not wait for a definite answer and could only look towards Kai who nodded as if to tell him to trust her. Isla did not know what happened after this, in one night her life suddenly changed.

Isla holds Kai's hand and Rex is strong. He did not know if this choice was right, but he was also curious how he should continue living with the abilities he currently has. The people he wanted to protect were distancing themselves from him.

The girl closed her eyes as a dark mist began to drown her body. In an instant, the three figures disappeared and were replaced by three tree trunks that fell inside the room with a thud. The tree smashed the bed and also some items that were inside the room.

After a few seconds as they used teleportation magic, three red-robed figures appeared inside Isla's room. One of them opened a headscarf that showed the face of a person wrapped in a black mask.

He observed the place for a moment, watching the three tree trunks that ran across the middle of the room.

"Someone just brought the last shard of Emrys. He may be Gamma's last son. We'd better go too, I know where they're going."

The figure was back in his hood. In the blink of an eye, they disappeared back using teleportation magic. It left the state of Isla's room still destroyed, but without Isla in it.

Kai, Isla and Rex appear in a dark and dense forest after the three swap their bodies for three large tree trunks from the forest. Isla fell in with her face kissing the ground first.

He grumbled because these two strange creatures that carried him did not explain anything about teleportation magic to him. And now, the pororo pajamas that he wore were not only dirty but also torn in some parts because they had just caught the thorns of the plant. He also just realized, that he had brought nothing since leaving Nita's house.

"Where is this? Why are you taking me to a place like this?" he cried while staring around at the dark forest with very high trees.

Isla's eyes were immediately fixated on a tall and large tree right before her eyes. Even the diameter of the tree was larger than a well. The leaves grow thickly with branches as big as a pole. The tree also moved away from the other trees. The reason is because the roots of the tree emerge from the ground and form a perfect circle like a fence.

The tree looked sinister and sacred. At the bottom of the tree is a dark hole. Similar rabbit hole but with a size large enough passed by humans. Rex grabbed Isla's hand while the girl was still glued to the spot.

"What's the name of this place?" tanyakanya.

"We call it the fifth Magic Gate. One of the entrances to Amalthea."

"So you're saying Amalthea has more than one driveway?"

Rex nodded. "There are seven.  We chose this path because Hugo's men wouldn't dare to follow."

"Why?"

"You'll see it when you get in."

Isla looked towards the entrance that looked like a dark hole. He saw Kai who had just done something around the roots of the tree that formed a circular fence.

"What's he doing?" ask Isla.

"Make a barrier," said Kai while pulling out his sword." I don't want to take any chances. Hugo's men could not visit the lake, but they could still find this gate. Comeing! "

Kai led his way into the dark rabbit hole. Rex assures Isla that everything will be fine. The girl complies. He entered while grasping Rex's fat, hoofed fingers.

The hole was rather low for a human size. But the inside is getting higher and higher. The hole jutted down a bit and looked like a passageway. But the longer the passage widened and carried the three figures on a dark lake that was not too wide.

Isla gulped her saliva while watching the very calm surface of the lake water. It looks like a mirror with a very dark base. His hair immediately goosebumps, especially when he sees human skulls and bones scattered on the edge of the lake.

"What is this place?"
