The King's Room, the Harem Palace of the Zamara Kingdom.
Morning time.
Zed has managed to secure his influence. Most of the nobles have supported him. Some were the dukes of Canaria. Others are those who disagree with his father's words, at least from their defeat in the Redwood Forest War and increased during the meeting.
In addition, he also managed to secure the balance between the Dukes. The Duke of Canaria with his group of nobles who were still strong and increasingly powerful when he became King, as he was his nephew. Duke of Zerestia who became the new Master of the Holy Sword. And lastly was the future Duke, Marquis Harbisium whose name soared since he managed to survive in the Redwood Forest War.
Although he had managed to secure the balance, he still needed his partisanship, at least one of the two that had not. And the one who had the most influence was the Duke of Zerestia who was currently before him.
“Duke of Zerestia,” call Zed.
“Ah, sorry, Your Honor. You called me?” The Duke of Zerestia soon regained his senses.
“Are you going to come with me to change this kingdom for the better?” ask Zed.
Duke Zerestia fell silent. He then looked at Zed with a very sharp gaze accompanied by a dense killing intent. Some of his personal guards immediately protected Zed out of fear that the Duke of Zerestia would disagree and would kill him.
The Duke of Canaria also stood in the middle. He stood at the front row. Face to face with the Duke of Zerestia. His face did not show an expression of fear despite knowing the prowess about the Sacred Sword and its Users.
If the Duke of Zerestia wanted to, he would get to Zed easily despite having to pass through a lot of people. Because in his hand right now there was a weapon of the class of 7 Great Sin Artifacts. But, he didn't do that.
While standing upright, he opened his mouth then said, “Of course NOT!!! I DO NOT intend to give up and surrender! I will avenge this, and avenge all who perished in the Redwood Forest Wars! I'M NOT going to forgive him!”
His words were filled with deep hatred and a fiery burning spirit. Hearing him, Zed smiled. Again. He has managed to secure balance and alignment. The nature and speech of his father smooths out all his travels.
On the contrary, the Duke of Canaria harbored a very strong hatred. He was more willing to be killed by the Duke of Zerestia and remembered as the Hero who protected his King, rather than having to compete with him with the Holy Sword.
He was also afraid that the Duke of Zerestia would regain his name if he contributed much to the battlefield later. Especially with the Sacred Sword on his side.
A King's Counsel who was pro with the Duke of Zerestia and cons with the Duke of Canaria said to Zed, “Your Majesty, make the Duke of Zerestia the Warlord. He has more experience and more victories. The Holy Sword also acknowledged his ability.”
The Duke of Canaria replied, “Your Majesty our King, Duke of Zerestia once lost to the Demon King Lucifer. It is better that we do not have to rely much on him. Allow me to be the Warlord!”
The whispers of the nobles sounded increasingly heated. All of them dropped each other, and mentioned each other's mistakes. Zed is smiling. He even had to try harder to hold back his smile because he was so happy.
‘At least I won't be betrayed and stabbed in the back. It seems like the way of fighting sheep and factions is a good thing to split the balance of power.’
As Zed enjoyed the fights of the nobles, the Duke of Zerestia ended it with his words that made it all sober.
“Stop fighting. We are in front of His Majesty!
“Your Majesty, I don't need any recognition or appreciation. I accepted the fact that I had lost to him, even if only once. However, I beg of you, please, do not hinder me from avenging me, and the grudges of those who are noble, to the damned Demon King!”
With his words, the quarrel between nobles died down. Although his faction somewhat disagreed with his decision, they still accepted it.

May 13, 1163 Zaenium.
Morning time.
Hazura returned from the Zamara Royal Palace to the Main Dungeon along with some of his subordinates. They had completed the task of sending a message to the Zamara Kingdom given by their master. Although he had not slept all day, he was able to endure it with his demonic body strength. Especially after he gained new strength from his master.
As he returned, in front of the entrance of the Main Dungeon, he saw Medusa standing waiting for someone. He asked after arriving before him, “What's up?”
Medusa replied, “The Great One calls you. He waited in his private room.”
Without saying anything more, Hazura simply nodded and was countered with Medusa by walking the lead in front of her. It was not long before the two of them had arrived in front of their master's room. However, there was not a single monster standing guard there. Just a narrow, quiet passageway as usual.
Seeing such conditions, Hazura thought of renovating the Main Dungeon as a whole and making it the Palace as well as the proper Capital of the newly established Demon Lord.
His imagination and shadow of the majestic infrastructure he thought of had to come to a halt when he heard the voice of his Master allowing them in. By the time the two of them entered the room, the two of them could not help but be surprised to see the pile of various books inside. However, they both have no intention of asking it directly without being told and/or allowed, as it would be considered as cocky and outrageous.
Laciel looked at the two of them. Beside him was Hanafsah who leaned her head on his shoulder comfortably.
Without making small talk, Laciel immediately said, “Hazura, I want you to accompany me away for a while. Medusa, I want you to be the Kingdom while I'm gone.”
Even though they don't seem ready, they are actually ready to do anything. That was because all the items were carried inside the dimensional pouch, including weapons and magic books.
The three of them–Laciel, Hanafsah, and Hazura–flew with their wings. Laciel led in front. Their destination is the Blackwood Forest, where he exits Zen's torture lab and when his dual personality takes over his consciousness.
The Blackwood Forest was a suitable place to ensure everything from scratch. And even more important is ....
“I intend to take my heirloom weapon. The energy can be felt from there. Looks like Zen kept it in the same place where I was being held,” Laciel explained on the way. She knew that Hazura was eager to wonder, though reluctant.
“By the way, where did you get that demonic artifact heirloom weapon? And, where exactly did you come from?” ask him to Hazura.
“I'm sorry, The Greatest, but, I don't know for sure. From the beginning, I felt that this spear was mine and was with me,” Hazura replied.
Although the answer did not answer Laciel's question at all. Laciel remained confused and did not know about Hazura's origins and the truth about the 7 Great Sins artifact heirloom that was in his hands.
“It looks like you are destined to be a Big Sin of Anger, Wrath,” Laciel said.
That's the only conclusion at the moment. Although he was still doubtful about the existence of Gods in this world.
