They were all in the dining room. The table is long and can be filled with three seats on each of the right and left sides. The waiters walked back and forth cleaning the table from dirty dishes and glasses after eating.
Sitting as the host was Count Sergio de Blackwood, and behind him stood Dave.
To his left, two seats away was Isabella de Virmanda, and behind him was Deputy Commander Zirka.
And next to Sergio's end is the C-ranked Adventurer, Laciel. And each to the left of Laciel is the C-ranked Adventurer, Sarah Hana, known as Hana, and the E-ranked Adventurer, Dwi Nadja.
From Laciel and Nadja, Sergio could feel an extremely oppressive aura by just sitting nearby.
Who're they? Why are the unknown so powerful? It seemed like the world had changed, or indeed the strong were hiding in the darkness and had just appeared. Sergio thought nothing of.
They had finished eating, but no one had started yet. It was because Sergio was still deep in his mind.
“Ehem,” Sergio cleared his throat to dispel this awkward atmosphere. He stroked his dark blue hair and styled it to keep it limousine. “Include, my name is Sergio de Blackwood, the current ruler of Blackwood County.” He started the conversation, then his eyes turned to Isabella.
“I am Isabella de Virmanda, the first daughter and second child of Count Virmanda.” Said Isabella who understood Sergio's gesture.
This is a formal meeting. Even though he had gotten acquainted before, he still had to introduce himself again.
“Include, my name is Laciel, Ranked Adventurer C. This is Hana, Adventurer Ranking C.” Laciel then introduces Hana, and turns to Nadja. “And this is Nadja, Adventurer Rank E. She just signed up as an Adventurer today.”
Even though they both had two-word names, he only introduced her one word. That's because the two-word name is Nobility here. And he didn't want to create a new problem just because of the name problem.
“So, how about we just go directly into the topic you want to discuss.” Said Sergio so that the conversation becomes not long-winded. He still had to think about the matter of the explosion two days ago.
“Actually, there is someone spreading a rumor that is not true. I ask Count Sergio to give legal action.” Isabella.
“Hmm, why did you speak up?” ask Sergio. According to him, the one who should have asked to do that was Laciel. Something must have happened so Isabell did it.
“That's because Laciel-sama is someone who has saved me, and some of my troops, from the Gray Wolf raid.” Answer Isabella.
“Yeah, because your dad helped me out ..” Count Sergio had not yet finished his speech, Isabella immediately interrupted. It's very disrespectful, but he does it anyway.
“I ask in my own name. I didn't bring up the name of Count Virmanda for this matter.” Isabella said firmly.
“So so. You, on behalf of yourself, want to repay the debt by owe me?” ask Sergio to make sure.
“True.” Answer Isabella without delay. He was determined.
“Alright, I'll do it.” Sergio stood up from his chair. “I will take care of this matter soon. Defamation is a serious problem. I'll crack down firmly.”
“Thank you very much, Sergio-dono.” Said Laciel who also got up from his seat. Followed by Hana, Nadja, and Isabella.
The three of them then get out of there. The remaining four people continued the conversation.
“It looks like you are deeply indebted to him.” Sergio told Isabella.
Isabella who was still sipping her tea, choked a little when she heard it.
“Uhuk! Well, there you go.” The answer is somewhat stammering.
“Young Miss, are you okay?” ask Zirka.
“Ti– It's OK.”

Somewhere else. In a dirty little alley in the slums of Blackwood County. Two black robed people were talking there.
“This is the pay.” Said one of the two.
The other one took out a leather pouch the size of a palm and exchanged it for a few coins from the person in front of him. Then they both split up.
“Hehe, easy money.” He threw the coins into the air in his palm.
There was a noise behind him. He looked, but there was nothing. The person who was with him was no longer there either. Anyway, there's a turn near there. The guy thinks he's gone, then stumbles upon something.
Well, lately, more and more garbage. This settlement will probably become a dumpster later. Thought*. This kind of government, I'll replace it. Just hang.*
He walked from the slum area towards the city center. He intended to complete several hunting missions to pass the time.
He was Ulbert, a C-ranked Adventurer with an Assassin class.
At the crossroad of the city center, he walked into a four-story building made of red brick. He already knew this place as well as knowing his own home.
Entering the Adventurers Union Building, he noticed something strange.
Four people dressed as Elite Knights were near the reception desk. Due to their presence, the atmosphere of the room felt a bit awkward. Moreover, they were the Elite Knights belonging to the Landlord. Making trouble with them meant making trouble with Nobles. No one who has any sense will play with them.
As he entered, everyone's gaze was turned to him. That makes him very nervous. He, who was unprepared for being so shocked, could only stand still there.
Seeing that the wanted man had come, the four Elite Knights with silver iron armor walked up to him. Their metallic sounds were swiping like death bells.
“A– What do you want?!” asked Ulbert nervously. Because he was surprised, the voice
it produced pretty hard.
“Ulbert-san, right?” The Elite Knight who seemed to be the leader of the others replied with a question. Although he already knew from the facial sketches and other information, he asked just to ascertain the truth.
Ulbert replied after a moment of silence. “Be– Right, it's me. What's up?” His voice was calm, though not completely.
“Please come with us.” Said the leader of the Elite Knights.
“Eh, actually ... what is it?” asked Ulbert who was dripping with cold sweat.
“Please come with us. No need to ask anything.”
After those words, two Elite Knights walked forward flanking Ulbert.
“Ti– No!”
Ulbert ran away from there. Flee.
The weakest Elite Knight was usually on par with a C Rank Adventurer. Although he himself was a C-ranked Adventurer, he was confident that he could face off against five C-ranked Adventurers, or a B-ranked Adventurer. But, since what he was going to fight against was the four-man Elite Knights, he felt that there would be no victory by his side.
Trying to fight is useless. He prefers to escape. As an Assassin, he was extremely confident in his speed. Compared to the Elite Knights who usually had the Swordman class, he was able to escape easily.
That's what he thinks. But, he had forgotten to take into account the existence of others with other classes.
Jem!
An arrow landed on his shoulder.
An archer?!
He forgot to take into account that there were several other Elite Knights with faraway attack classes being there. Maybe even out there. And again, he was now inside the room. It only makes him have one way out.
But now, that exit is closed.
I feel ... sleepy. His mind, then collapsed halfway to the door.
The arrow that hit him earlier was smeared with a very effective sleeping medicine. In fact, the elephant will collapse in a few seconds. Well, that's even if there's an elephant in this other world.
His last glance was the five Elite Knights who were surrounding him and taking him somewhere.
