Sanggana Swordsman
77. Groping the Enemy

*Holy Blood Ring*

The figure of the large-statured man dressed in military clothes quickly walked into the Emperor's personal reading room. His silver military uniform looked thick and heavy, as if suffocating his body that was quite stocky with fat. On his thick mustachioed firm face was an elongated scar on the left temple. His head was wrapped in a black cloth in front of which was a pictorial metal showing his rank. Behind his waist crossed a pair of short swords whose sheaths fused with his clothes.

“General Mok Jueng arrives!” exclaim the door guard soldier.

The 55-year-old, General Mok Jueng, continued to walk in front of a large table behind which sat Tutsi Emperor Long Tsaw.

Not far in front of the large table stood Princess Yuo Kai and Prime Minister La Gonho.

Actually, General Mok Jueng, who was the Red Dragon Army Chief, could already guess what would happen to him in a moment. At first glance he saw the Emperor staring at his arrival with a sharp look, as if he wanted to kill him.

“Mok Jueng saluted His Majesty!” general Jueng said as he dropped to his knees ten steps in front of the big table.

“What work are you doing, Mok Jueng?!” emperor Tsaw shouted loudly and long. His face was flushed and trembling withstanding anger. His hand then scooped up the pile of report books on the table and threw them to General Jueng. Although then the books just fell scattered in front of him.

“Hamba deserves to die, Your Majesty!” exclaimed the general quickly while descending prostrate to the floor. He did not expect that the Emperor would be angry with him.

“You deserve to die!” shouted Emperor. “What are you doing until there are dozens of criminals freely and openly attacking Princess Kai on Liong Sue Street?!”

“Ampuni servant, Your Majesty. Servant has really been negligent to the point of not knowing there is a group of intruders inside the city,” General Jueng said.

“This is the worst work of the Red Dragon Army. I forgive you this time from the penalty of beheading!” emperor Tsaw said, his tone was still harsh, but it was beginning to soften.

“Thank you, Your Grace. May the Sky always protect Your Majesty,” said General Jueng, but have not dared to lift his head from the floor.

“Go. If by tomorrow morning there are no leads, then prepare to go to the gallows!” emperor Tsaw's orders force General Jueng to work to save his own life.

“Good, Your Majesty. Servant beg yourself!” said the big man with a helpless sweaty face. He got up and leaned back and walked away until it was appropriate to turn away.

“What do you think of the Prime Minister?” ask Emperor Tsaw. His voice has weakened.

“But..” said Princess Kai cut off the Prime Minister's analysis. “The attackers know when I'm out of the palace. The attack was well-prepared, as they could hide in large quantities and could raise oil drums on the roof. That meant they knew about the inauguration event of the Iron Dragon Bureau Xie Yuan, the daughter of the Minister of Justice. From that side it could be strongly suspected that the enemy was still a person within the Capital City. Or the outsiders of the Capital City who have strong accomplices inside the Capital City. There's a traitor.”

“Is there a possibility other than people who have proposed to my daughter?” ask Emperor Tsaw.

“The rise of the rebel group that we've been losing. It could also be an attempt by other countries to shake the peace of our country so that we become weak. I don't think that any of our officials are trying to ignite the fire in the heavy rain. But Your Majesty, all possibilities can happen. It will be more directed our estimates if the data and evidence from the results of the investigation of General Jueng we have obtained,” said the Prime Minister.

“This attack really pisses me off. How dare those people strike open not far from the palace walls!” hiss Emperor Tsaw. Then he said again to the Prime Minister, “I order the Prime Minister to keep a close eye on this case!”

“Good, Your Majesty,” said Prime Minister La Gonho while respecting obedience.

“I don't want to think about how it all happened. However, when the Prime Minister or General Jueng already holds the person's name, let me know,” Princess Kai said.

“Good, Mr. Princess.”

“I beg of you, Father Emperor,” said Princess Kai then bowed respectfully.

The emperor nodded. The departure of Princess Kai was released with the honor of the Prime Minister as well. The Prime Minister still stands in his place to discuss the matter further.

Coming out of the Emperor's private reading room, Princess Kai was immediately followed by Bo Fei and his two servants who had been waiting outside from the beginning.

“Granny Forecast Rong Ro is right. His predictions do not explain, but remind. Who exactly is that grandma?” princess Kai said to Bo Fei.

“Means His Highness also believes in a prophecy about the number fifty-six from the sky and a ring larger than the crown?” ask Bo Fei.

“I believed it, but had to break the interpretation myself,” said Princess Kai. “But it seems, there is a big event that will happen and it is inevitable. The White Eyes Bureau people must have been all deployed by General Jueng to search for information underground. Nevertheless, I ask you to go see the Blind Snake in the Nirvana Lotus. You must bring the Snake Badge so that he recognizes you as my man.”

“Good, Your Majesty,” said Bo Fei. (BH)
