15: Burn Fish, Love and Encounters

Asih Marang, Adi Manukbumi and Luring left their resting places. They had just received an invitation to join the other nonmilitary soldiers who were partying that night.
On one side of the palace courtyard, a group of people were gathering around a huge bonfire. On top of the fire was a very large fish, bigger than the body of Senopati Badik Mida. There was clearly their joy represented by the sound of laughter that always fell apart.
“Luring, did you see that big fish?” adi Manukbumi asked his best friend.
“Iya, huge,” replied Luring while walking. “Is that the fish that attacked us at the edge of the lake?”
“Maybe. They are great if the fish is indeed a lake-waiting dedemit,” said Adi Manukbumi.
“If it is dedemitnya, means that the one who attacked you last night is not a dedemit, but a fish,” asih Marang timpal, making the two young men silent.

“Prepare the grilled fish seasoning!” shouted Kusuma Dewi, ending the judgment for Surya Kasyara.
Kusuma Dewi then flashed on the fire.

While others just silently looked, some even smiled at the unexpected meeting.
Empress Tirana then let go of her embrace with a small laugh still heard.

“Do you know who the king in this Little Sanggana Kingdom is?” empress Tirana asked Asih Marang.
“Yang Mulia Gusti Prabu Dira,” replied Asih Marang.
“He is my husband who all residents of the village of Wongawet know by the name of Pendekar Joko Tenang,” explained Empress Tirana.
“Hah!” the Asih Marang.
