150. Princess Yuo Kai's Tears

After a terrible fight in the courtyard of the Heavenly Dragon Palace that caused severe destruction and took a lot of casualties, especially the two high generals of Jang Country, Princess Yuo Kai and Joko and the entourage face Emperor Long Tsaw who is accompanied by Empress Fouwai and the two concubines. Prince Han Tsun and Prime Minister La Gonho were present.
Su Ntai and Su Mai were also present as translators of Joko Calm, Tirana and Puspa.

Su Mai faithfully translated the dialogue to Joko, in order for the swordsman to understand what the conversation was about.

“Ayahanda no need to worry. Although two of our generals were killed this morning, but now there are magic people who are visiting this palace. If it is still there, they will rethink to pick up their own deaths,” Princess Yuo Kai said. “I want to talk about my wedding, Your Highness.”
Hearing his daughter's last words, Emperor Long Tsaw then said to Prime Minister La Gonho.
“Prime Minister, prepare a tribute ceremony for General Mok Jueng and General Wai Yie, and the fallen soldiers!” emperor Long Tsaw's. “You can go.”
“Good, Your Majesty,” said Prime Minister La Gonho. “Hamba please withdraw.”
Emperor Long Tsaw nodded. The Prime Minister saluted then walked back, then turned away.
Now Joko Calm and Su Mai remain strangers in the room.
“I will leave to lead the troops to the border after marriage with Joko,” said Princess Yuo Kai.
“We cannot delay the delivery of troops to the border,” said the emperor.
“Means my marriage to Joko must be hastened as well,” said Princess Yuo Kai.
Quite surprised Emperor Long Tsaw, the Empress, and the two concubines heard Princess Yuo Kai's request.
“How can the wedding of a princess of Jang Country be held suddenly and limited, Kai’er?” ask Empress Fouwai.
“No, Empress Mother,” said Princess Yuo Kai. “Joko is my choice. I'm afraid my heart and mind will change if my wedding day is not soon Ayahanda set.”
Long ago Emperor Long Tsaw and Empress Fouwai waited for their daughter to choose a mate, but until almost a few days ago it had not materialized. Joko's heart was struck Calm upon hearing Su Mai's translation of the Emperor's decision. For, three more days he will go through one important event in his life, namely getting married. He was not afraid of facing the marriage, but just pounding.
After the meeting, Princess Yuo Kai invites Joko Calm back to the South Park for a delayed tea, as well as talking about serious issues related to their love relationship. Su Mai remained faithful to be the automatic translator between the two.
The tea in the gazebo has been replaced with a new one.
“I've felt it,” said Princess Yuo Kai.
“What, Your Majesty?” ask Joko.
“That jealousy. It hurts,” said the princess. “I felt jealous when Tirana was so affectionate with you, even she hugged you, Joko. I feel pain in my heart seeing your affection.”
Joko Calm smiled sweetly to Princess Yuo Kai. But then, Joko's question surprised Princess Yuo Kai.
“Are you sure you want to undo the bonding of our spoken tongue?”
“No,” said Princess Yuo Kai. “Therefore I urge Father to hasten our marriage. I want to tie you to a sacred promise. I started to feel a rebellion in my heart. I'm afraid, if the rejection gets bigger and stronger, I can't love you anymore.”
“It will be risky, Your Majesty,” said Joko softly. He looked at the girl older than him.
Suddenly Joko saw Princess Yuo Kai's pair of eyes glazed over. Next a clear water drop glided surfing on the delicate cheeks of the beautiful woman.
Those tears surprised Joko Calm. He became confused.
“So much pain is that jealousy?” ask Joko lirih. He wanted to wipe the tears with his big finger, but he could not.
“I cried not because of that jealousy, but because I love you so much, Joko. I don't want my jealousy to keep me from having you. I'd rather endure jealousy than lose your love.”
Princess Yuo Kai wiped his tears. He tried to resist the turmoil of feeling inside his chest.
“Do you love me and will love me like you love Tirana?” ask Princess Yuo Kai.
Joko Calm smiled sweetly and looked gently at Princess Yuo Kai.
“If you also love me and love me,” replied Joko. “I don't want to be selfish by having to love a woman who doesn't love me.”
