Kersak 6: Entrance to the Eternal Night Forest

Adi Manukbumi, Mumu Kedalang and Luring stopped resting breathlessly. They stopped under the village torch. The atmosphere of the Itatalangot Village was quiet that night.
“It's a big thing, Manuk! It's really real that in Telaga Fatara there's the dedemit!” luring said. His condition was still soaking wet after being plunged into the well water, just like Mumu Kedalang.
“Then if there is a dedemitnya your face?” ask Mumu Kedalang sewot, because they almost died that night.

Inevitably, the three young men finally could not refuse the participation of Asih Marang.
They chose to walk along the coast. However, when the road is not passable, then they stay away from the lake beach to find a way.
As they walked on the edge of the lake, they looked across, to the point where the fire that last night Mumu Kedalang and Luring saw before they fell.

After continuing to walk along the lake beach and passing one other village that intersects directly with the lake, they finally stop at the edge of a dense forest filled with large trees.
Large trees growing close together make the sky covered by leaf shade. That is what makes the forest always dark during the day. However, there are still holes of light created above.
When the three young men stopped first to pay attention to the condition of the forest they were about to enter, Asih Marang actually walked in without hesitation into the forest.
