98. ZYANO'S HEART

In a room there was a man who was smiling faintly watching Katerina's action show. That man was Zyano. He told his shadow bodyguard to record everything that happened at the restaurant. Zyano was really amazed by his wife's firm attitude.

"As I expected my wife is indeed amazing." murmured Zyano smiling satisfiedly at Sera's helplessness. It wasn't in vain that he met the woman yesterday.

Zyano shifted his gaze as his phone rang. There's an incoming call from someone. It was none other than Sera. It didn't take long for Zyano to receive the call.

"Hallo." said Zyano.

"You've seen, haven't you? I've followed everything you wanted. So, you must also keep your promise!" said Sera.

Zyano chuckled softly. "Well, I know. You take it easy because all your secrets will be safe and I'll make sure no one can find out. Well, let's just say our conversation yesterday never happened!"

Sera screeches. "It turns out you both have the same nature. I mean, like threatening others!" sera mocked.

"That is the duty of a husband. Protecting his wife and making sure all the plans he devised go smoothly without any hitch." Zyano replied while leaning haughtily.

Sera laughed sarcastically. "Currently, aren't you afraid that the wife you love so much is actually betraying you?"

"Dragon your speech! On what basis can you say such a thing huh?!" snapped Zyano did not accept hearing Sera insult Katerina.

"Well, he might just want to use you. Most women are always like that. After all his revenge missions have been successful it's possible that he'll leave you. No one knows that, right?" said Sera.

"ENOUGH!" Zyano's jerk was really angry. "Once again you insult my wife then I make sure you will regret it!" threaten her.

"Hey, I'm just warning you to be more careful. I can understand you're drunk on love right now but you just got to know Katerina. So, you don't really know what the snake woman is. She was indeed sweet in front but was actually cunning in the back!"

"SILENCE!" zyano. He continued his words. "No matter what Katerina's nature is none of your business! I know her but I know she is a good woman. Although she's sneaky but at least she's better than your two-faced daughter!" zyano said.

"What did you say?" Sera growled in disbelief.

Zyano smiled wryly. "Cih, the child and the mother are the same as it turns out. Can't you just go glass? Look at yourself. Do you feel better than my wife?! Heh, even crazy people know where diamonds are and which ones are trash. I suggest to you before warning someone it's good to have a mirror with yourself. Because to me you're worse!" zyano mocked.

The call was turned off by Zyano unilaterally. He's really sick of hearing Sera's bullshit. Sera smiled with satisfaction.

"Yes, my plan worked. I hope that man ate my words. At least with that they got into a fight hahahaha. Feel it, Katerina." said Sera laughing happily.

Meanwhile, Zyano was furious. He threw the drink on his desk until it broke.

Dave who was in front of Zyano's room was surprised to hear that there was a broken item in his old office. He also immediately checked it. Both of his eyes instantly widened looking at Zyano's scattered office. Dave could also see Zyano's extremely angry face. His jaw was hardened with a tightly clenched hand.

"Gosh, Dave. Since when are you standing there?" zyano asked in surprise at his assistant.

"Since you are angry until then happy again, sir." replied Dave as it is.

"J-so, you were?" Zyano did not continue his words because Dave had already nodded.

Zyano simply sighed and rubbed his face roughly. How could he not be aware of Dave's presence? Is he too angry with his anger? thought Zyano.

"Alright, since you're here I have a special assignment for you, Dave." Zyano said sneering cunningly.

"What sir?"

Zyano immediately gave Dave the task instructions until the assistant nodded. He intended to give Sera a lesson because he had dared to insult his wife.

"You understand your job, don't you, Dave?"

"Well, I understand sir."

"Good, then you can get out."

"Good, sir."

Just as Dave was about to come out, Zyano suddenly remembered something. "Wait a minute, Dave."

"What's up, sir? Is there anything else I need to do?"

"No! I just wanted to ask you how about my honeymoon preparation with my wife. Is everything all right?" ask Zyano.

On one hand he believed but in the depths of his heart the most truthfully Zyano felt doubtful. He was just afraid Katerina would leave him. He did not dispute that Katerina really only used him but what Zyano feared was left by his wife.

"No! I can't doubt it like this. What have I been thinking? Katerina is not that kind of woman. Why should I be influenced by that man's words. Oh, my God, you're a fool, Zyan." said Zyano was trying to shake off all bad thoughts about his wife.

Zyano glanced at a picture frame on his desk. He took it and looked at the photo. Unknowingly the corners of his lips curved up forming a thin smile. It was her wedding photo with Katerina. In the photo, both look good. At that time, the two of them still did not express their feelings.

Zyano's right hand raised stroked the photo right on Katerina's face. He could see in the photo Katerina's sincere smile.

"Whenever you're so pretty, Kate made me so scared to lose you, baby." Jemari Zyano wiped the photo.

"I don't care even if you just want to use me to get your damn back. But I'm just afraid after that you'll leave me, Kate. I-I really can't imagine that." murmured Zyano bitterly. "Hubby, don't you believe in my love? Please believe me hubby, I won't leave you just because of my past. My relationship with Rei is over. She's no longer hubby."

Zyano was stunned as she recalled Katerina's words last night. He could remember clearly when Katerina said that then it was obvious the look of seriousness on his face. And there is no doubt at all behind his words.

Zyano put the picture frame back and then he put his phone in his pocket. Then Zyano came out of his room.
