18. WHO'S THAT GUY?

After returning from the Agrawihana family residence. Maya decides to go to the office. But once in the company of Cristopher Maya is confronted by skewed gossip about Katerina.

"Kasian yes, Katerina was fired from her own father's company."

"Yes, but it's not her own fault why she had to fight her father."

"Olivia's a good princess, Katerina should learn to behave from Olivia."

"No wonder if Olivia became a favorite child, she was a gentle different from Katerina who was rude."

Maya's steps stopped upon hearing that. Her ears heated up, her emotions peaked. Maya doesn't like anyone insulting Katerina.

"Take your word, Aurelia! on what basis do you dare to insult Katerina?!" reprimand Maya with a sharp look full of intimidation.

Aurelia smiled in ridicule as she rolled her eyes lazily staring at Maya. Her hands were crossed over her chest as if they were higher than Maya's. Though in the office Aurelia only as Office Manager unlike Maya who position as Head of Department (HOD).

"Hey Maya, you're coming straight angry, if you don't know what's going on then don't be pretentious." Aurelia sneered.

"You're supposed to be more polite Aurelia. Here you're just Office Manager, you need to be aware of your position. Don't insult Katerina like that!" sarcas Maya is upset.

Aurelia lowered her butt on the table while crossing her legs, then looked at Maya with a small smile.

"I know my position is Maya, but what I'm saying is true isn't it? Katerina was such a rude woman that she was fired in this company, ups sorry" he said.

Maya's frowns "Painted?" ask Maya not to believe it.

"Yes, you just came. You must not have known that your best friend Katerina was fired by her own father!" aurelia replied laughing mockingly.

Aurelia used to hate Katerina, because she felt Katerina took all the attention of the employees and forgot about her. Seeing Katerina being kicked out of the company of course Aurelia was very happy.

Maya was stunned, her head shaking in disbelief.

"You don't talk carelessly, Aurelia. How could Katerina have been fired." Maya didn't believe me.

"Hey, I'm not talking recklessly, if you don't believe just ask the employees who are here. They all saw with their own eyes Katerina being fired even being dishonorably expelled from this company!" Aurelia.

"That's right Maya, we all saw Katerina being fired by her father."

"Yes right even to be expelled by the security guard." said another.

Aurelia smiled broadly "How is Maya? Did you believe it? I'm not bragging, am I?"

Maya was silent and did not speak the words of Aurelia. Maya still doesn't believe that Katerina was fired but the employees here can't possibly lie to her.

Suddenly the CEO's special elevator door opened. They could all see Olivia coming out with Rei hand in hand as if she were a happy couple. Olivia came out with a big smile on her pretty face but not with Rei looking so cold, her look was a sign of dislike. I don't know what they were talking about in Andi's room.

All the praise of the employees went to the two couples. They blatantly praised Olivia who looked very compatible with Rei. Maya's cupola was hot and her hands clenched tightly when she saw Olivia and Rei being happy over Katerina's suffering.

Maya approaches the two couples with her hands firmly clenched.

"Wow good yes, really a matching couple." praised Maya smiling obliquely.

"Maya.." both were surprised.

"Olivia. I did not expect what amulet you used so that Mr. Andi defended you desperately and could have expelled and even fired his own biological son. Not only that you even snatched Rei from my best friend." exclaimed Maya with a sharp glare.

"Maya, what are you talking about? I don't wear any amulets. Me and Rei love each other, why do you say that Maya!" refute Olivia.

Maya squealing. "Corn, you hypocritical woman, what did you say? love each other? Heh, you think I didn't know Rei loved Katerina that much and you took her from my best friend instead. Base ******!" maya shouted furiously.

A loud slap landed on Maya's face. Everyone was shocked to see Olivia slapping Maya. Even Maya herself was also wide-eyed when the slap violently hit her face. Maya felt her face heat up and sting.

"So, you talk Maya! I didn't take Rei from my brother. Even though you are my brother's best friend, you have no right to insult me like that. Remember who you are in this company, you're just a subordinate. Don't you think because you're my brother's best friend you can insult me as you please!" snarled Olivia firmly.

Plaque!

Everyone looked up and saw Maya slap Olivia's face to the side. Maya's emotions are mounting, she does not accept being slapped just like that by Olivia.

"You think you're the only one who can slap me, huh! I CAN ALSO OLIVIA NATASHA CRISTOPHER!"

"I've been patient with all your behavior for a long time, but this time you've really put the limits of my patience out!" maya was angry.

"You've had Katerina evicted from her own home and now you're getting her fired from her own father's company!"

"You're really good Olivia, a stepdaughter like you can get a real child out of the way? What kind of a use are you wearing?" asked Maya smiling mockingly.

"JUST MAYA!" scream someone.

Everyone immediately turned to the direction of the voice and found Andi walking with a face full of anger.

"You're totally outrageous Maya. Who do you think you are, huh! How dare you insult my daughter like that!" andi snapped her veins in sight.

Maya only smiled faintly "Sorry Mr. Andi, I cannot help but insult your beloved daughter. She is indeed a cunning woman and*****." said Maya bravely.

"Shut up! once again you insult my daughter, I'll fire Maya. Don't care if you're Katerina's best friend or not, but your attitude has made my blood boil." hardened Andi.

Maya laughs sarcastically "Boiling? Then, how do you feel when someone insults your own biological daughter, Andi? You'll be angry or silent!" maya glanced at Aurelia who looked down in fear.

"Damn, Maya cannot be underestimated." Inner Aurelia.

Andi immediately fell silent to a thousand languages. His mouth seemed locked not knowing what to answer. While Maya only smiled obliquely, she knew Andi would not be able to answer her.

"Why silence sir, Andi? oh or maybe Katerina isn't your biological daughter?" ask Maya to grin.

"Don't talk to Maya! Katerina is of course my daughter." Andi's circus quickly.

"really? then why can't you answer my question dear Lord Andi?? Everyone will definitely think the same as me because you treated Katerina unfairly."

"A father would be angry if he knew his son was insulted but you? even just silence, it will make everyone think that Katerina is not your biological daughter, sir, Andi."

"You're wrong Maya! I would be angry if anyone dared to insult my daughter. I'll fire him right away if I know who he is." Andi said.

"The person is your own employee sir, his name is Aurelia!" Maya is firm.

Aurelia immediately felt fear, cold sweat spread on her body. Maya already mentioned her name then it's finished later.

Aurelia approached them with a body trembling in fear, her head lowered to the cold floor. His heart raced quickly so scared.

"L-yes what's up, sir?" ask Aurelia trembling.

"Are you really insulting Katerina?" ask Andi.

Aurelia nodded softly "I-iya sir but I didn't mean that. I'm sorry sir, please don't fire me sir, I promise I won't repeat it again." pinta Aurelia pleaded to Andi's feet with her head lowered in fear.

Maya smiled obliquely looking at Aurelia, at least the woman got her reward.

"There is no forgiveness for you. You fired! Get your things done and get out of here!" Banish Andi.

Aurelia was scared to death "Master, please forgive me sir. Don't fire me sir, I have to work to earn my family's living sir." his plea sobbed at Andi's feet.

"Dad, forgive him, kill him dad." said Olivia pretending to be nice.

"Maya, don't you feel sorry for seeing her? you heard it yourself, didn't you. He must support his family. If he's fired then what's the fate of his family?" olivia sissy.

Maya smiles lightly "Lantas, do you have no pity to see your own sister being kicked out and fired just because of your pretentious good face Olivia. Don't be so good, I know you're a two-faced woman." Maya's circus boomed.

"Shut your mouth Maya! I've heard enough of you insulting Olivia. You and this woman are fired! get your stuff done and get away from here, before my anger peaks." Andi snapped in a big rage.

Maya chuckled "In pleasure, I did intend to quit such an unscrupulous company. There's still a much better company than Cristopher's." Maya quipped.

Before leaving Maya whispers in Olivia's ear.

"Blessed is Olivia, right now you're winning but we're not at war. All the happiness you get today won't last long. Wait for the retaliation to begin!" maya Ancam.

"I'm not afraid of your threats Maya, what can you do? most just take refuge in my sister's taunting." Olivia sneered.

"You just wait for the date of your destruction Olivia. When that day comes you will bow at Katerina's feet."

After saying that Maya left arrogantly without feeling sad when fired by Andi. He was very happy and happy. But not with Aurelia who came out with a sour face and anger. How could he not be dishonorably fired, it felt like his pride had already been trampled on.

"Awas you Maya, because of you I was dishonorably fired. My pride is trampled like this. I don't accept it!"

"Someday I will repay this humiliation!" inner Aurel clenched her strong hand staring at Maya's back which was almost invisible anymore.

Maya orders a taxi, in the car she remembers Katerina. Maya quickly picks up the phone in her bag to call Katerina. But the number is not active.

"Haish, this is the child why the phone is not active anyway." Maya grumbled annoyed.

"Is he probably in my apartment? But it could be because there's nowhere else but there. I'd better get home soon to check her out." Maya muttered.

"Our sister's going to the City Spire Penthouse." Maya asked the taxi driver.

"Well miss."

"Hopefully he's there." Maya muttered as she resuscitated her back.

On the way to Maya's apartment opens her cell phone. When opening Maya's eyes immediately glared when she saw the news of Olivia and Rei's engagement which was hot discussed in the media. Maya is surprised not to play, she does not know that Olivia and Rei will be engaged.

"What's? so they're engaged?" maya's mumbling suffocated herself.

"It's crazy, why are they suddenly engaged? it feels weird." Maya feels there is a discrepancy from the impromptu engagement between Olivia and Rei.

"Sorry, where do you want to be dropped off?" asked the driver to glance at Maya through her windshield.

Maya jerks a little "Ah yes, put me down in front of the lobby aja sir." replied Maya.

"Well miss."

Maya turned her eyes out the window. Her eyes narrowed when she saw Katerina getting out of a luxury car with a man. Maya was unable to clearly see the man's face because of his back position. So what is seen is only his back and his high and macho posture.

"Who is he?" tanya Maya muttered frowning.

"Sir.pak came down here aja sir." pinta Maya patted the driver's shoulder without turning her eyes.

"Well miss." The car stopped.

"This is the money pack, take the change" said Maya thrust a hundred thousand, and after that rushed out of the car.

Maya hurriedly approaches Katerina to see who the man is but has not yet gotten there the man has got into his car and just left.

"Kate." cried Maya calling Katerina who wanted to go inside.

Katerina turned to "Maya."

Maya is in front of Katerina. Maya's hands propped up above her knees, her breathing gasping for breath after running from a distance. His heart was beating faster than normal. Sweat began to pour out on his temples.

"Jeez Maya, what's wrong with you? Have you been chased by a ghost?" tanya Katerina held Maya's shoulder.

"No! More precisely I'm the one chasing the ghost." she replied still gasping for breath.

"Huh?"

"Who was the guy who delivered you Kate? Did you sell yourself to a rich man? I saw her car was branded and limited." Maya gave various questions that were in her head.

Katerina chuckled "God Maya, your mind is always negative. I can't sell myself, that guy was my friend." Katerina shook her head.

Both Maya's eyebrows interlocked "Friends? as far as I'm concerned, you're not much friends with men. Don't lie to Kate." Maya's circus doesn't trust.

Katerina just smiled "We should go in first, I'll tell you everything inside." asked Katerina put her hand on Maya's shoulder.

"Alright, you have to tell me everything!" Maya said with a sharp look.
