50. FORCED TO LIE

"Kenzie, are you home, baby?" ask a woman named Mira. She was Kenzie's adoptive mother.

"Yes" replied Kenzie kissing the back of his mother's hand.

"You must be tired, change your clothes and then have lunch. Mama has cooked your favorite food." said Mira.

"Yes, but where's Sasha?"

"Your sister's asleep, maybe she's exhausted."

"Ohh that's it." Kenzie climbed the stairs to his room. He went in and threw himself into the bed staring at the ceiling of his room. Kenzie feels lucky to have a family willing to accept him.

Tok tok tok tok

Kenzie gasps when he hears his window on tap. He got up and opened the window door. A man dressed in black entered his room.

"Sorry to interrupt the break, young master" said the man.

"It's okay, say it! What information did you get?" ask Kenzie to the point.

"According to your request I've been following Miss Olivia. Today he went to the hospital and met a man named Bryant Astrope."

"Why did he go to the hospital and who was the man he met?"

"Miss, Olivia came to the hospital for a gynecologic exam."

"So, is she really pregnant?"

"Yes, young master."

The man pulled out a letter. "This is the letter of examination of the contents of Miss, Olivia and the results of her USG test, young master."

Kenzie opened the letter and read it carefully. There is clear information about Olivia's pregnancy there is even a photo of her baby ultrasound.

"So you said he met Bryant Astrope, who is he?" ask Kenzie.

"Bryant Astrope, he's Olivia's ex-boss and ex-girlfriend. He used to be the big boss of Starlight but now he's broke after a scandal with his artists."

"It turns out they have a special relationship, right?" the corners of Kenzie's lips curved into a sly smile. He got incredible information.

"Right, young master and I also heard that the child that miss conceived, Olivia was not the son of the master, Rei."

Kenzie's forehead is wrinkled. "Then whose child is that?"

"I'm sorry, I can't answer that yet, young master. The information I got is still taboo."

"Good work, you've always amazed me, Roy." said Kenzie smiling with satisfaction as he patted Roy on the shoulder.

Kenzie chuckles. "It's okay, for me this is incredible information."

"All right, you can go."

"Then I say goodbye, young master." Roy bowed his body and left.

"Sister must really like this news. I have to meet him as soon as possible." muttered Kenzie with a satisfied smile.

Zyano's car stopped in front of the mansion's main door. He got out of his car and was welcomed by the maids who were on guard at the time. Katerina who heard her husband coming home immediately rushed out.

"Zyan, you're finally home" said Katerina smilingly to welcome her husband's return.

"Yes, dear." Zyano replied, peeping briefly at the wife's lips.

"Let's go in." take Katerina flanking her husband's arm.

"Wait, why your forehead, baby?" zyano asked in surprise when he saw Katerina's forehead being wrapped in hansaplast.

"Well, I accidentally hit the door. It's a wound, but you're calm the wound is not severe and has been treated." replied Katerina lying. He did not want Zyano to know that he had a fight with Olivia.

"No, Zyan."

"Alright, next time you have to be careful, baby. I don't want you to get hurt one bit." Zyano said.

"Yes honey. Yes, let's go inside." before entering Zyano had a glance at Budi. His sharp gaze was as if he was asking for an explanation about the injured Katerina. Of course Zyano did not just believe it.

"Zyan, you take a shower first. I will prepare dinner." said Katerina.

"Hm." Zyano nodded in understanding. He went into his room while Katerina prepared dinner.

Katerina cooks a variety of Zyano's favorite foods while being helped by chefs and maids. It does not take long finally food is ready to be served at the dining table. Simultaneously Zyano descended from the room.

"Let's eat, Zyan" said Katerina.

Zyano was stunned to see a lot of food served especially all his favorite food. Once enjoyed it tastes very good.

"Wow, that's amazing. It's very tasty. It turns out my wife is very good at cooking." complimented Zyano.

Katerina smiled. "I'm glad you like it."

"Of course, whatever my wife cooks I'll love it."

"You could have." Katerina smiled shyly at Zyano's words.

"Oh yeah, how was the meeting with the shareholders today baby? Is everything all right?" ask Zyano.

"of course. I managed to take over the company and now I am the President even Olivia does not dwell." replied Katerina smiling satisfiedly as she remembered Olivia's grim face.

"As expected. My wife is great."

"That's all thanks to your help, Zyan. If it wasn't for the shares you gave me that maybe I could take over the company" Katerina said thank you.

"It's the husband's job to help his wife." replied Zyano.

Zyano cut his steak. While Katerina daydreams about her suspicions about Olivia being pregnant. For some reason after this morning's incident Katerina felt sure that Olivia was really pregnant but unfortunately she had no evidence of anything.

"Then, what's your next plan, baby?" ask Zyano.

There's no answer. Katerina was still busy with her own thoughts.

"Darling?" call Zyano but there is no word.

"Kate."

"Ah yes, why?" Katerina flinched as Zyano touched her hand.

"I'm asking you, baby. What the hell are you thinking? Is there a problem?" asked Zyano worriedly. Not usually Katerina daydreams like that. He was sure something must have happened, but what? thought Zyano.

"Em.. no." replied Katerina forced to lie. He couldn't tell Zyano just yet because this was just his guess. Except, if everything's right then he'll tell Zyano.

"really? You're not lying to me, are you, baby?" tanya Zyano.

"t-of course. Ah, yes. What were you asking about?" katerina asked quickly changing the topic.

"What's your next plan?"

"For a while I'm going to take control of that company and make the shareholders trust me. After that I will seize everything until Andi has no more authority in the company" Katerina explained.

"A good plan. If you need help just tell me."

"Yes, Zyan." Katerina smiled back.

"I'm sure there's something Katerina's hiding from me. But what?" asked Zyano in his heart. He felt Katerina was hiding something from him. Seen from a frown on Katerina's forehead that indicates that the woman is thinking about something.

"Sorry, Zyan. I haven't been able to tell you about my suspicions about Olivia. Unless, until everything is clear I will tell you everything." Inner Katerina.
