66. RUN AWAY TOGETHER
Sean parked his car as soon as he got to Le Grand Restaurant. He checked his phone for a while, then got out of the car. His steps came to a halt when he saw a man strangling a woman's neck.
"Hey, what are you doing?!" his screams rushed over to them and immediately kicked the man's stomach to the ground.
Uhuk uhuk uhuk
Maya coughed as soon as she giggled her neck off. He breathed as much air as possible. Maya breathes a sigh of relief. He almost died out of breath.
"You okay?" ask Sean.
Maya looks up. "Th-you?" lirih Maya was surprised to see Sean's face and vice versa.
"Geez, I didn't think we'd see you again, miss." Sean smiled.
Darren screeched and then stood up. He held his stomach that hurt due to Sean's fairly hard kick.
"Who else are you, huh?! Don't interfere with my business!" her growling.
Sean helps Maya stand up regardless of Darren's words.
"Are you hurt?" ask Sean.
"No."
"Thank God."
Maya just smiled. He did not expect the man who hit his car until it was damaged turned out to help him like this.
"Hey, are you deaf?!" decak Darren was upset about being ignored.
"Just boy. I'm that handsome like this you said deaf? Your mouth just lemes like a mother." said Sean did not accept.
"A lot of talk."
BUGH
Without the cue Darren directly punched Sean's face to make his body dazed. Fortunately, Maya can hold Sean's body from falling.
Sean rubbed the corner of his bleeding lips. He's whining. "Wah-wah's bad! How dare you punch my handsome face!"
Feeling no acceptance Sean retaliates by bragging Darren's jaw hard until his gums bleed.
"Fuck."
Finally, the fight was inevitable. A furious Darren instantly beat up Sean all out. It's like he didn't stop beating Sean with his brutality. While Sean who could not martial arts could only dodge every attack Darren aimed at him.
BUGH
The final blow made Sean fall to the ground. His face was battered because it hit Darren. The man did not beat him.
"Gosh, are you okay?" ask Maya did not have the heart to see Sean battered. He thought Sean was a martial artist, but he wasn't.
Uhuck-huck
Sean coughed up blood. He felt his whole body crumble. He did not expect his opponent to be so strong. While Darren laughed happily to see Sean who lost.
"Cih, is this all your ability? Really suck!" ejek Darren grieves.
Sean clenched his hands tightly. He does not accept being insulted like this. Sean tried to get up. He can't lose here.
"Lumayan too." said Sean rubbing his lips with the back of his hand.
"Whatdidyou say? That good?!" jakak Darren did not accept.
"Well, yummy. Do you think you're great? Cih, that ability alone is already arrogant." Although losing Sean will not let Darren drop his pride.
"Suck!" Darren was about to throw a punch to Sean's face but his hand was first in Maya's grip.
"Your opponent is me, Darren!" maya is angry. He won't let Darren beat up Sean again.
"Don't bother me, ******!" firmly Darren instantly pushed Maya's body down.
"Why do you want?" sean asked reflexively backwards as Darren walked up to him.
"Of course kill you" he said, taking out a folding knife that was stored in his pocket.
"Wire." murmured Maya.
"Damn, I have no other choice."
When Darren approached unexpectedly Sean immediately sprayed my ladu water until it hit Darren's eyes.
"Aaaaaa, my eyes." cried Darren screaming in pain. His eyes hurt so much that he couldn't see.
"Let's run away." invite Sean directly pull Maya's hand.
"Hey, don't run!" darren shouted, limping because his eyes could not be opened.
"Let's hurry, get in the car." Sean orders and is answered a nod by Maya.
After the two got in the car. Sean stepped on the gas and left the restaurant. He even accidentally hit Darren to bounce far away.
"Huh, we're finally safe" Maya said breathing a sigh of relief. His heart was racing so fast that he was nervous.
"Well, I almost died." Sean replied in relief.
"Btw what did you spray earlier?" ask Maya curious.
"That's pepper water. I did deliberately take him every day to be on guard if there was such a danger. I didn't think it turned out to be very useful." replied Sean.
"Oh." Maya just nodded.
"Who was that guy? Why would he want to kill you?" ask Sean.
"She's my ex-boyfriend" Maya replied, squeezing her finger.
"former? But why would he want to kill you?" asked Sean in wonder.
"Maybe because he hates me. I cut off the relationship with him unilaterally. He could have been angry and finally wanted to kill me." Maya said.
Sean chuckles. "You think I'm stupid?"
"Huh?"

"It turns out this man can not be underestimated." Maya's inner while glancing at Sean who was focusing on driving.
"Just calm. I'm not interested in secrets between you. I'm only helping you because I can't see someone die in front of me."
Maya smiled thinly. "Well, thanks for the help. I owe you my life."
"Don't look at me too much. I'm afraid you'll fall in love with me." Sean smiled at Maya.
Hearing that Maya immediately turned her face out of the window. He was so embarrassed to stare at Sean. His face was even like a boiled crab. I don't think Maya has any more face. Sean smiled instead. He feels funny with Maya's shy attitude to the cat.
"Why stop?" maya asks confused because Sean stopped his car in front of the supermarket.
"There's something I want to buy. You just wait in the car."
Sean got out of the car and went into the supermarket. He was planning to buy red medicine and ointment. It didn't take long for Sean to finally get out of the supermarket.
"It's a grab." Sean said giving the ointment to Maya.
"For what?" ask Maya wonder.
"Your neck is bruised. Apply this ointment every time you take a shower so you don't get sick." replied Sean.
"Ah, yes thank you. Though your wounds are worse." said Maya felt bad.
"It doesn't matter to a patient's health doctor more important than anything." Sean replies back to driving.
"So, you're a doctor?"
"Well." yeah."
After that there was no talk. Maya just remained silent while staring at the shady trees she passed by. Sean was focused on driving. An awkward atmosphere enveloped the two.
Drttt drttt
Sean's phone is shaking there's an incoming call. He put his earphones into his ears.
"Hallo."
"Sean, where are you. Am I at the restaurant?" ask Dimas.
"Gosh, I forgot to tell you" Sean said, patting his head.
"Abject what?"
"Sorry, Dimas. Looks like we can't have dinner together today."
"Loh, why? Didn't you agree this afternoon?"
"Well, I have a little problem. Sorry for being late for telling you."
"What problem?"
"I can't tell you now."
"All right."
"You're not angry, are you?"
"Just a little upset. I waited for you for a long time but you didn't come. But yeah how else. I can't force you either."
