In a luxurious classical workspace, there was a man sitting in his chair while reading a report containing the life history of Katerina. He is Zeano Brawitama a successful businessman who is very famous until abroad.

And now there's a man who's facing Zeano to give an investigation report on Katerina's identity. Yes Zeano ordered one of his confidants to investigate about Katerina. Surely it was all done by Zeano in anticipation of his fear if Katerina was a dangerous person let alone this concerned the future of his son Zyano.

Zeano read carefully every report given by his confidant. But suddenly his forehead wrinkled when he saw the name of his mother Katerina named Ghina Agrawihana. Zeano certainly knows very well who that person is he is a friend of his wife Zahra.

"Mom, are you sure your report is correct?" asked Zeano looking at Bima his confidant.

Bima nodded "Sure sir, the report I gave couldn't possibly be mistaken as I went down directly to investigate it sir." Reply Bima sure.

Zeano leaned his back on the chair, his hands twitching his temple between believing and not turning out that his mother Katerina was Ghina.

"So her mother, Katerina is Ghina Agrawihana?" ask him again.

"True sir."

Glass glass containing coffee just fell on the floor to make a loud noise. The two men reflexively looked towards the door. Zahra stood with a face full of surprise.

Zahra wanted to bring her husband a drink. However, he unintentionally overheard their conversation. Zahra was shocked to hear that her mother Katerina was her best friend. Zeano got up from his seat and approached his wife.

"Darling, are you okay?" Zeano asked worriedly seeing Zahra speechlessly staring.

Zahra was silent, still shocked by what she had just heard. Zeano began to worry about seeing the wife who did not respond to his question.

"Hey baby, look at me. Are you okay?" tanyanya held the chin of the wife to look at him.

Zahra realized "Zean, didn't I hear wrong? Katerina's mother is Ghina?" tanyanya stared in her husband's bead eyes.

"Dear, Katerina's mother is indeed Ghina your best friend" Zeano replied honestly.

A smile spread across Zahra's face. He is very happy to know that his future son-in-law is the daughter of his best friend Ghina.

For Zahra, Ghina was not only a friend but a brother to him. When Zahra was in Ghina's arms, she always defended him and even protected him. The two of them even made a promise that had been written in the will regarding the matchmaking of their daughter's son. And it was unexpected that his son-in-law candidate was even his own son's soul mate, of course, Zahra was very happy.

"Do you look very happy, dear?" zeano asked looking at his wife's broken smile.

"Of course you know that Ghina is not my best friend and when you find out that Katerina is his daughter I'm very happy. It means that my promise to her will be fulfilled." replied Zahra smiling.

"Surely you remember that promise?" zeano also learned of the agreement between his wife and Ghina.

"Oh, obviously, I might forget it. I've always been looking for where her daughter is but somehow my livelihood always fails. But I'm happy without me finding the girl to come by herself. I'm even more convinced that he's a match for our son Zyano" Zahra said.

"But baby, do you know if Ghina remarried Andi Cristopher?" ask Zeano carefully.

Zahra looked very surprised to hear that. She did not know if Ghina remarried after the death of her first husband Gavin. Ghina disappeared into the earth because she married again.

"Did you say Ghina got married again? with who?" ask Zahra.

"With Andi Cristopher, Gavin's great enemy." Zeano's reply left Zahra even more shocked.

"What?" Zahra shut her mouth not believing what she heard. Ghina married her husband's own enemies. Wh-wh-what for? thought Zahra.

"You're not lying, are you, baby?" zahra asked, not believing her husband's words.

Zeano shook her head "What am I lying, baby. What I said is the fact. All right, I'll tell you everything, but you'll have to sit down." Zeano led his wife to sit on the couch in his study.

"This all started from a fatal accident experienced by Gavin to cause his life to just float away."

"You remember, didn't you, Gavin died in a fatal accident while he was on his way to the company for an impromptu meeting? Gavin's family feels awkward over the unusual death of their son and unbeknownst to them turns out Ghina is investigating him. At that time Ghina was pregnant with Katerina, hearing Gavin died in an accident of course Ghina was very hit."

"Yes, I still remember that even I helped to appease Ghina who looked very frustrated after Gavin's death."

"You're right, baby, when Ghina investigated all the evidence that led to Andi Cristopher but unfortunately Ghina did not have accurate evidence to put Andi in prison. But Ghina did not despair. He plans something to approach Andi to make the man fall in love with her and confess that he killed Gavin."

"But you know, love can't be played. Love is sacred if you enter into the game then you will be trapped forever. Ghina loves Andi, who killed her own husband. Andi also loves Ghina and she accepts Katerina as her son even though she knows that Katerina is not her biological child. But because of Ghina's actions, she was expelled by her family and therefore also Ghina is no longer considered a daughter of the Agrawihana family."

"Did Andi also know if Ghina was the wife of Gavin's great enemy?" ask Zahra.

Zeano nodded "Yes of course and when he found out about it Andi's treatment of Ghina began to change. He began to violently torture even Ghina to death" Zeano said.

"The once-living Kasian Ghina, did Andi also treat Katerina harshly?" ask her to shed tears.

"No. Andi wants to accept Katerina even he spoils Katerina like his own biological child but.."

Zahra's forehead wrinkled "But what?"

"But after Andi remarried her treatment changed, Katerina was tortured in her own home and even expelled."

"That was all his wife and stepson, they managed to incite Andi to hate Katerina."

Zahra clenched her strong hand "Badly, how dare they treat Katerina to such an extent." Zahra's wrath was stirred with emotion.

Zeano clasped his tightly clenched wife's hand "Honey, calm down."

"Where can I calm down, they tortured Katerina even to the point of expelling her like that. I don't accept. Andi should be taught a lesson." Zahra said.

"Zahra calm down, I'll make a warning for Andi. You take it easy, he'll fall in front of all of us." Zeano said grinning.

"Alright, I'm waiting for the good news, but if not I'll intervene directly to teach him a lesson!!."

Zeano smiled at his wife "You just trust your dear husband."

Zahra blushed in embarrassment as she rushed out of the room her husband was afraid of khilaf.

Zeano just smiled looking at his timid wife but the next moment he stared at Bima flatly.

"Mom, you know what to do next?" ask Zeano.

"I understand sir, then excuse me." Bima bowed her body and came out of Zeano's study.

Currently Katerina launched her action. He is still working at the Cristopher company to destroy the company from within. Of course he used his 15% stake to take over everything he was entitled to.

Katerina pretended to be working well to get the other shareholders to support her as director of the Cristopher company. Certainly in a sneaky way.

As of now Katerina is presenting her idea for a big project that will be run by the Company. The shareholders seemed very satisfied with the brilliant idea of Katerina even they applauded Katerina's greatness.

Andi who was present at the meeting was silent and did not comment, because the idea of his daughter was extraordinary. Mall City construction project plan if successful will be very profitable for the company but if it fails it will have a bad impact on the company.

"Miss Kate, your idea is brilliant. I like the proposal you made, it looks like it will be very profitable for the company" said one of the shareholders present at the meeting.

"Yes right Miss Kate, we all agree with your idea." said another.

"Yes right, I agree, we should just choose Miss Kate as the person in charge." said the others agreed.

"I also agree, if Miss Katerina is handling this project. Judging from the idea earlier, the company will definitely profit greatly."

"Thank you for supporting me and trusting me, but all decisions are up to Mr. Andi Cristopher" she smiled.

All the shareholders were looking towards Andi to ask for a definitive answer as to who would handle this big project. To be honest Andi was afraid and hesitant to entrust this big project to Katerina but all shareholders seemed to agree if Katerina was handling this project. Inevitably Andi also had to agree even though his heart was heavy.

Andi smiled "Yes, I think Katerina's idea was brilliant. I hope Miss Katerina can hold this trust and do everything well. I agree that Katerina will handle this big project" Andi said, making everyone smile.

"Thank you for the trust you gave me, sir. I promise I will do well and I hope you all can trust me completely" Katerina said with a sweet smile.

"Of course Miss Katerina, we will trust you very much." said another.

"Good meeting today is over. You guys can get out" Andi said shutting up.

Everyone out of the room. Now, only Katerina left with Andi. The woman seemed busy tidying up her files while Andi walked over to her daughter.

"Kate, what are you planning?" ask Andi to the point.

Katerina raised her face looking at Andi who was looking at her sharply with intimidation.

"What do you mean, Mr. Andi Cristopher?" asked Katerina as if she did not understand.

"You don't have to pretend Katerina. I know you must be planning something, right? Answer me honestly Kate!" snapped Andi.

Katerina chuckled softly "Sorry you said what, Mr Andi? I don't understand what you mean. I don't have any plans, why do you think like that?"

"Don't give Kate a hand, I know you have plans for this company, right? Don't you think I don't know what's in your brain!"

Katerina smiled wryly "Dad??

don't we have no father-son relationship anymore, Mr. Andi Christopher.  I don't want to have parents who throw their own children out of the house just for defending a stepchild.

"And you must not accuse me indiscriminately without clear evidence. On what basis do you accuse me of planning something? I can report you on defamation!" caterina's circus threatened back.

Andi wanted to slap Katerina but didn't.

"What? even you want to slap me?Did the parents slap their own children? I don't think any parents hurt their own child or maybe I'm not your biological son, Mr Andi?" ask Katerina.

Andi immediately fell silent a thousand languages made Katerina feel suspicious like there was something her father was hiding.

"You don't talk weird, Katerina. I'm certainly your father and you're my biological daughter." replied Andi in a cold sweat.

"But why do I feel like I'm not your real daughter, Mr. Andi? Or maybe there's something you're hiding from me?" katerina asked intimidatingly.

"Shut up! You don't have to think weird Katerina. You must be my daughter!" tukas Andi immediately left.

Katerina felt awkward especially when she saw the expression of her father who was so scared.

"It seems, there's something she's hiding, I have to find out." Inner Katerina.

Katerina exits the room and searches for Maya to have lunch together, but Maya is not in the room and Katerina asks the other employees but no one knows where Maya is.

Katerina took her phone and called Maya. However, the number is not active.

"Well, where'd maya go?" mumbling Katerina was confused.

"Oh, I better have lunch first and then I'll run out of time."

Katerina took her bag and walked out of the company. He intended to eat at his restaurant subscription but once out he was instead intercepted by Reino Alberto.

"Hi dear."

"Let go Rei! Why do you always bother me, huh?!" Katerina's jerk tried to escape from Rei's hand.

"No, you have to come with me Kate." Rei forcibly pulled Katerina's hand.

"No, I'm not going with you, Reino Alberto." Katerina rebelled.

"I don't care if you have to come with me, baby." Rei smiled with tease.

Katerina shook her head strongly. He didn't want to go with a depraved man like Rei. Katerina continued to rebel releasing her hands from Rei's tight grip.

"Take him off!" The baritone voice made Rei step to a halt.

They both looked back and found a tall man with a very handsome and stunning face. His hardened jaw walked up to them with a cold and flat face. Instantly Katerina was amazed to see the man's good looks even her ruler was clear.

"Who are you?" tanya Rei didn't know.

"Sir, Zyano." - Katerina.

Zyano smiled faintly "Are you a man? Why would you hurt a woman like that?" asked Zyano stabbing.

"It's none of your business. You don't have to interfere. It's my business with my lover!" answer Rei ketus.

Katerina hit Rei's stomach with her elbow and stomped her feet with heels making the master scream in pain.

"I'm not your girlfriend, Reino Alberto.  Our relationship is over! Don't bother my life anymore." Reveal Katerina firmly.

Rei tried to grab Katerina's hand. However, before that his stomach was immediately kicked by Zyano until he tumbled backwards.

"Get in the car." Zyano ordered.

Katerina nodded her head in understanding and rushed into the car as per Zyano's orders. I don't know why he became a bully.

Zyano walked over to Rei and squatted down in front of Rei who was holding his stomach which was sick from a kick from Zyano.

"Who are you?" ask Rei stammering.

Zyano smiled knot "You don't need to know who I am, for sure you should remember one thing. Don't bother Katerina again, if you break it then you'll deal with me!" firmly Zyano with an expressionless flat face.

"Let's go."

"Good sir."
