"Sir, I was sorry to ask this but why did you suddenly want to meet, Katerina? Did something happen?" ask Maya curious. He was sure that there must be a reason why Erland asked him to bring him together with Katerina. Though it's not time yet.

Before answering, Erland monitored the situation around him fearing that someone would eavesdrop on their conversation. As soon as it felt safe he just said it. While Maya frowned in surprise at Erland's vigilance.

"Master, why?"

"Shut, slow down your voice, Maya."

"Sorry sir." Maya began to lower the volume of her voice.

"It's okay." Erland breathed heavily.

"So, what happened sir? Everything's fine, right?"

"Actually not Maya. The company's condition is in turmoil because Hendri continues to urge me to issue an inheritance warrant. He wanted to be recognized as the owner of the Argawihana company but I turned him down because of that he sent spies to monitor my movements. That's why I haven't been able to contact you lately. I don't want him to know about your mission or about, Katerina."

"Geez, so sir, Hendri wants to take full control of Agrawihana's wealth?"

Erland nodded slowly. Maya shut her mouth in disbelief.

"Then, before that happens I have to meet up, Katerina and tell her everything. It is time for him to inherit the wealth of Agrawihana because he is the true heir. For that you have to be careful Maya. Don't let it, Hendri suspects you. I'm afraid she's going to hurt, Katerina to achieve her ambition." said Erland.

"But what if only Katerina had rejected him instead? He may not want to be an heir. If that happens what will you do?" ask Maya.

Erland was silent. His heart sank for a moment. "Ah, right too. Why have I never thought about it? What if, Katerina refused it? What am I supposed to do?" he murmured in the heart.

Maya waits for an answer from the man, but she doesn't seem to have it. Erland herself was worried and did not know for sure whether Katerina would accept or not. To be honest he didn't think about it at all because it was all a one-sided decision from him. He did not even ask his grandson's opinion. Oh, my God, Erland feels like a selfish grandpa.

"It seems like the master has no answer. Well, naturally, she must be confused since she never met, Katerina. So how did he know his heart?" inner Maya muttered in heart.

"Who's there?" maya's shout made Erland startled and reflexively turned towards the door.

"Damn, I got caught." she turned her body hiding behind the door while biting her lips.

"Hurry out or I'll force it!"

"What's up, Maya? What's going on?" erland asked puzzledly as Maya suddenly acted strangely while staring at the door.

"Some time, sir."

Maya steps her foot toward the door. He was certain that someone was hiding behind the door. But before he could catch it the man had already opened the door while bowing.

"Sorry sir, miss, I didn't mean anything. I just want to deliver drinks for the master, Erland and his guests" he put on a guilty face.

"Are you the new waiter?" maya asked feeling unfamiliar when she saw the woman's face.

"Well, right lady. I just worked a week ago."

Maya looked at the woman from toe to head. He also remembered Erland's words. "Ah, so this is the spy you sent, Hendri? Hm, interesting. I wonder how far he can go? I have to make sure of that." Maya murmured in her heart. He smiled his sly smile.

Maya folds both her hands over her stomach. "What's your name?"

"Violet" he said lowered his head. Somehow he felt intimidated when he looked at Maya Netra. He also didn't know why he was uncomfortable.

Maya raises Vio's chin to stare at him. "Well, Vio. Was it Sella who told you to deliver drinks for me and also sir, Erland?" asked Maya while stroking the servant's face. But the look in his eyes was scary.

"No, miss." she stammered with nervousness.

"Oh, that means it's all your own initiative, is it, Vio?"

Vio just nodded in fear. Maya's intimidation aura made her body stiff even to breathe it felt hard for her. It felt like he was being interrogated.

Maya pulled the corner of her lips. "Hm, you've been working here for a week. I think that's enough for you to adapt and you should also know that, Sella is your personal servant, Erland. That means that all things related to the master, Erland either from necessity or others are only taken care of by him. Then, why did you deliver the drinks instead of Sella?" tanya Maya emphasized her every word.

"Stop, Maya! You scared him." Erland said, opening his voice. It was enough that she saw Maya intimidate the woman.

"Ah, it seems I've gone overboard. I'm sorry sir."

"Violet."

"Yes sir?" Violet raised her face as her name was called.

"Thank you for making drinks for me and Maya. You can put it on the table."

"Okay, sir, then I'll excuse you." he resigned. He rushed out afraid of being interrogated again.

"Sir, why did you just let it go?"

She should have been fired, that's what Maya wanted to say, but she held her back.

"Maya, I understand what you mean but if I do that Hendri will be even more suspicious. He could've sent more spies."

"But, sir, I'm worried that he has malicious intentions. What if he hurts sir?" maya said worriedly.

"You don't have to worry, Maya. My men are more numerous than Hendri. I have many pairs of eyes he does not know. They can't touch me just like that either."

"Even if you say so, I'm still worried, sir. Especially when you see this condition. I'm not getting quiet."

"I had no other choice, Maya. To get rid of Hendri's vigilance on me this is the only way. At least, I'll be more careful in my actions. Besides, Hendri doesn't know that I'm spying on him either. Maya breathed a heavy sigh. "Alright, if there's anything immediately contact me sir. I will definitely come straight away."

Meanwhile, Violet rushed into her room. His heart beat fast like it was chased by a thief. His breathing roared down so scared. To be honest he had never been a spy like this but because of the urgent need of life he would not want to accept it.

Violet also did not understand why Hendri had her spy on the Agrawihana residence. Though he could have hired a real spy but Hendri was afraid of being caught. So, he's looking for people who aren't easily suspected. However, Hendri miscalculated because Violet was careless. Without revealing her identity Maya can already guess that she is a spy.

"Ah, I almost got caught."

"In the future, I need to be more careful. That woman must have suspected me. What am I supposed to do?

"Do I have to tell mister, Hendri? Nah! he'll be angry if he finds out about this. I'd better shut up."

"But what are they talking about? I didn't hear it because I was caught. Ah, sucks."
