The Star at the End of the Hallway
It had been twice the fifteen teams down the dead end aisle. But the impasse they encountered did not mean there was no result. This hallway was like heaven for participants. They have twice met with logistic crates that contain needs and equipment. From these two logistic crates, the whole Team gets a new and comfortable synthetic rubber outfit. Safety shoes, kevlar level three. They also get a variety of food, drinks and medicines. In addition, in the second oeti there is a communication tool with a wider range, binocular night imaging with a distance-determining lens, a telescope for assault rifles and drones. They really are a rich team.
This logistical discovery is certainly not to be shared with Steven Hawk and colleagues. The two of them could only watch as the fifteen team laughed cheerfully while dividing the logistics as needed. Stevent Hawk and his colleagues were given backpacks full of canned food they had to carry.
Towards midnight, the fifteen team again got a bounty. They arrived at the end of the passageway which was shaped like a large and spacious stone gate.
“We rest here. You two go get firewood. Leave both backpacks!” Ef's orders to Steven Hawk and his partner. Unable to refute, the two captives walked towards the cave door as ordered.
“it's okay-is it telling them to go like that, Ef?” Lin stood next to Ef as he gazed towards the two captives who were starting to move away.
“What's wrong, they only have us as hope. They leave no problem, they come back no problem.”
“What if they leak our hideout to other participants?” Lin looked up at Ef who was standing on his left side.
“There won't be another team willing to help them, baby. They are also participants of Hell Game. And all of those participants were hostile. Can-can other teams will immediately finish them if they meet.”
Lin nodded.
“And if we hear gunshots, it means there are other teams around us. They will both be security indicators of this place.” Continue Ef.
“You need not worry, now rest. I'll collect firewood.” Ef rubbed the top of Lin's head and moved in another direction on this tunnel.
“Hei mom, rest here. Let Dady work.” Hamish patted the ground next to him.
“Stop calling me that, me and Ef have no relationship whatsoever.” Lin followed and moved closer to Maya and Hamish who were already sitting on the side of the passageway.
“I remember when we were on the ship, it was dark like this. Can only hear without being able to see.” Maya started a conversation.
“Betul, I feel so too. Hey maya, you remember no time on the ship there was a guy looking around for a girl named Erlin Hanako! And now they're a team. The soul mate had indeed been arranged, hahaha” Gurauan Hamish was chimed in by Lin with a light blow to the fat man.
“If we survive, soon you tie him up with the engagement. People like capt, surely many are eyeing.”
“I agree with hamish this time. You guys like each other, but still trying to show that everything happened nothing.”
Hearing Maya's words, Lin recalled the incident in the cave behind the waterfall a few days ago. He was eager to ask what was happening, yet Lin's Tongue became muddled.
“And actually I caught someone kissing under a blanket last night?” Hamish's words certainly made Lin's ears feel hot. It was fortunate that the current atmosphere was dark, so no one noticed that his face was red.
“Really? Anyone kissing?” Maya chimed.
“True, I'm going to the kitchen. And it turns out that there are people who are sitting together embracing each other. I became unwell and went back to the front.”
“Waaaah, really? That was when we were in that village huh?”
“Iya.”
“This progress must be celebrated. Mom, call Dady for dinner together.”
“Already, you guys made me really embarrassed.” Lin was no longer able to hold back the sense he was holding. The other two members laughed and teased Lin more.

Ef brought back the dry piece of wood, and as usual he also lit the Fire. After the fire was lit, it was Hamish's turn to grill the cornet cans. Also heat the water to cook coffee.
After their stomachs were filled, and each of them got a cup of coffee Ef divided the task to keep watch. He will be on guard at the beginning, while waiting for the possibility of Steven Hawk and his friend returning.
This coffee tasted so good after a week of caffeine fasting. Moreover, drinking coffee on a bright night while staring at the sky full of stars. Ef turned his head for a moment as a step approached from behind. Lin appeared while also holding a coffee cup.
“Why not sleeping?” ef asked as Lin joined sitting next to him.
“I'm not sleepy yet, and also want to stare at the stars.”
There was no conversation between the two men for a few minutes. The two dissolved in each other's minds while staring at the flickering of the thousands of stars that dotted the night sky.
“I've made up my mind!” Ef suddenly spoke and made Lin turn to him.
“Decisions about what?”
“About your plans to travel the world.”
“Oh that, what's your decision?”
“I will take you to visit Indonesia before visiting another country.”
“Yes, I also want to visit Indonesia. It's been a long time since I last came there!”
“Indonesia is a very beautiful country, and will be the best medicine for the mental after passing Hell Game.”
“You're sure we'll get away from here?”
Ef turned to Lin, and stared fixedly at the girl's face. With the help of moonlight, Lin's luminaries were able to capture Ef's eyepiece.
“At this moment I am very sure. Moreover, we have got the tools. We just need momentum to make this plan go perfectly.”
LIn returned Ef's gaze. Not asking questions, not arguing. The girl threw her head into the captain's arms.

“Aren't you angry at first, Miss?” Ef teased Lin, yet his hand continued to caress the girl's hair.
“I'm angry that Daddy interfered with my privacy. But now I want to thank him. For sending you to me.”
Ef did not give a word response, he just continued to caress the hair of the girl who was leaning on him.
“Bent!” Ef's movements made Lin raise his head.
“Why?”
“The position is not good.” Ef embraced Lin's body and made the girl sit back to Ef. Then he pulled Lin's body back to lean on him. “Well, this is better. I can hug you”
“You know Ef, I like being hugged from behind like this.” Lin took Ef's hand and kissed the back of the man's hand.
“I also like to hug you from behind, because..” Ef did not finish his sentence. However his hand moved towards the front of Lin's body. And parking on top of the right springy hill.
“Basic pervert!” Grumpily Lin while turning his face backwards.
A few seconds look at each other, and the lips of the two men meet again.
