Hell Games

Hell Games

Lin was sitting waiting with an empty plate in front of him. He insists on not wanting to eat even though Hamish has offered many times. Lin is not hungry yet.

The moment Ef walked into the dining room, the smile on Lin's lips instantly expanded. He also immediately put the piece of wheat bread on the plate. Not to forget Lin added side dishes and tomato sauce as a topping.

“This is your plate,” Lin thrust the plate earlier to Ef who just joined them. After the plate in his hand passed to the captain, he placed the piece of bread on himself.

Lin's behavior had just been observed by Hamish who was sitting right in front of Lin. He elbowed Maya who was busy enjoying her meal.

“Let's step aside. ‘Mommy’ and ‘Dad’ want romantic dinner,”

Maya who did not understand the condition stared at Ef and Lin alternately. Ef just smiled calmly while Lin just lowered his head with a reddened face.

“Oh so this is why he refused to eat. Waiting ‘daddy’ turned out.” Maya chimed in Hamish jokes. “Mari, we give space to ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad’,”

“Come on, don't be like that. We do not ask you to go.” Lin who had been seduced since then finally made a sound. He looked at Ef, his gaze asking for help. But the man simply devoured his wheat bread while smacking a smile.

“You did not ask us to leave. But you know yourself. Come on Maya, we eat in front only.”

“Already, don't be teased constantly. Later he does not start eating.” Finally Ef made a sound. The bread is almost half. While Lin's has not been reduced even a little. “Your hand hurts? Do you want me a bribe, ‘Mom’?” Ef comes to flirt with emphasizing Mom's word. Hamish broke down, Maya continued eating and Lin blushed even more.

Before long Hamish and Maya had finished their dinner and left the dining table. Ef's bread was supposed to be long gone, but he deliberately slowed down his meal in order to wait for Lin.

“If every night could always have dinner like this, I think the world would be very beautiful.” Say Ef in between his chews.

“Hopefully next we can find a village like this again. Or after from check point two we can return to this village to stay.” Lin took his dinnermate's words seriously.

“Which I don't mean about his village.”

Lin frowned and tried to digest Ef's words just now.

“Oh I know. You want to praise yourself for being good at cooking?” Lin raised his eyebrows while looking at Ef.

“Not also. What I mean by a beautiful world is if you can always eat with an angel like tonight.”

Lin coughed and directly picked up the glass of drinking water in front of him.

“Do you always drink in this quilt pose?”

Again Lin coughed and almost spouted out the water he had just drank.

The sound of crickets is more clearly roaring in the air as the night gets late. In interspersed by the sound of owls telling each other.

Hamish had snored in the living room after being frustrated at not being able to open the metal necklace that Ef had given him earlier this afternoon. Maya also slept in a room curled up behind a blanket. The position of the village in the middle of the valley without large trees as a barrier makes the wind so freely through the cracks of the wall. The night was colder than the night before.

Lin rubbed his open arms several times to reduce the cold. He accidentally hasn't slept because Ef hasn't returned from checking things out and turning off the lights in other houses.

Eleven o'clock in the evening Ef returned, his body wrapped in a blanket that he had somehow gotten from nowhere. And found Lin still sitting waiting at the dining table hugging his arms.

“Why haven't you slept?” reprimand Ef while wrapping Lin's body with the blanket that had wrapped itself.

“I'm waiting for you to come home. Wherever anyway? Why so long?”

“I look around for things that might be useful to us in every house. And I found this.” Ef shows an old document belonging to a local resident. “We are in Cameroon. But this document has become so obsolete. I can't read the name of the district and its address.”

“Didn't you find a cell phone or phone?” Lin tightened his blanket. Cold air felt so hard that it hit.

“Not yet. I just checked three houses. Tomorrow afternoon we continue to check other houses.” Ef was still standing rubbing his palms, then sticking them to his own cheeks.

“Come here,” Lin stretches out the blanket she uses. Ef immediately sat down next to the girl, she did not want to refuse such a tempting offer.

Their body heat is mixed and confined in a thick cloth, plus the skin that touches it is indeed a panacea to relieve cold. The heat is not only felt on the surface of the skin, but also flows in the blood vessels, the heart of both begin to beat fast.

EF grabbed Lin's waist to bring the girl's body closer together. The rest of the shampoo scent on Lin's head began to attack the senses as the girl leaned her head against Ef's shoulder.

“Had we survived Hell Game? What are you gonna do?” lin whispered almost inaudibly.

“If you work, how do you promise to accompany to Indonesia?”

“Isn't my current job your bodyguard?” Ef grabbed Lin's hand and grabbed it.

“But I don't want you to accompany as a bodyguard.”

“So, I have to accompany you as what? cousin?” Ef repeats Lin's request asking him to pose as a cousin when they first met.

The girl did not reply, she only tightened her grip while hugging the arm of the man who was currently hiding behind a blanket with her. Ef's arms were warm and absolutely efficacious to drive away the cold.

Ef noticed Lin's behavior in silence. The character of the girl changes all the time. At the beginning of the meeting he looked independent, chatty and a regulator. At the beginning of the abduction he became quiet, and now his behavior became spoiled.

“Does being a novelist make people's characters change?”

“Why are you asking like that?”

“It's okay. It just crossed my mind.”

“You must be insinuating me, right?” Ef's laughter was quite the answer to Lin's question just now. “I'm used to writing with emotion. I feel like I should be able to blend in with the characters I created. You know, when I'm writing a sad scene, I cry, you know.”

“If ‘panas’ scene, you come hot?”

Ef had to accept the pinch on his waist as a result of his teasing just now.

“How about you make up a story too. About your duties. I think it will be very interesting.” Lin shuffled in a straightened position and re-hugged Ef's arm.

“I can only write reports, and not be good at writing stories. If forced, the results can be like a scientific journal, hahaha”

“Later to help. I will also help promote my social media accounts. My followers are many, Loh!” lin said enthusiastically. “Until when do you want to work betting lives like this. Don't you want to live a normal life like most people?”

Lin's words made Ef sigh. Normal life. Yes, he is starting to feel that the work he is doing right now is like it has no end.

“Maybe I will stop if I have found the final port. Where I'm going back.”

The atmosphere became silent after Ef had finished his sentence. Lin did not respond and Ef did not continue. They both seemed to be busy with their own thoughts.

“You have a boyfriend?” Lin finally opened the sound first. He waited a long time, but Eph did not answer. Until he felt Ef's hand lift up his chin.

Ef looked at Lin's eyes which retorted with a glare.

“No. But I just found the candidate.” Ef's voice sounded so heavy.

“Who?” Lin's eyes moved looking at his left eye to Ef's right eye in turn. The man did not answer, only his face was getting closer and closer.

The cold of the night was no longer able to strike when their lips met for the second time. This time without any anger and emotion like this morning. There is only a sense of comfort that flows from the face to the rest of the body.

The soft kiss began to turn deeper with time. Slowly, Ef's hands had already begun to dare to sneak into Lin's dress and touch the chewy hill that Lin had been hiding. Ef felt the skin he touched was much smoother than the surface of the other skin that was on the girl's body. He played there for a long time, without any rejection from the owner who is still closed. Ef began to dare to infiltrate further and further. His hand moved down. However, suddenly Lin's hand held his hand.

“Do not go there, I’m on my period”.
