CUTS
Cairo...

What his wife said was true. Yetti's mother refused completely to let Rendra enter the child into the cottage where Iskandar had studied before.

“Are you not able to take care of the child until you have to enter the cottage?” Yetti's mother thumped herself but could still be heard by Rendra. At this time, he was at his mother's house just to confirm what his wife said. It turned out that what Cut said did not dart in the slightest.

“Then why did you tell Iskandar to enter the pesantren? Is it because she's not Mama's granddaughter?”

Glegs…

“Do you forget, how many times have you been called to school because of a fight? It's only natural that Mama told you to put her in the pesantren. Do not equate Iskandar with Anugrah. Although one mother but the personalities of both are different.”

Rendra decided to go home after a short stop by the mother's house. Arriving at home, Cut is seen talking seriously with Anugrah.

“Assalamualaikum, what is this so tense?” said Rendra then kissed the cheek of the wife and the son took turns.

“This Papa boy asked if his older brother was not a granddaughter of grandmother?” answer Cut.

“You eavesdropped?” asked the father and Anugrah immediately nodded.

Cut and Rendra look at each other and then they tell all the origins of her brother until Anugrah understands. They must indeed tell this all even though the past is lazy to remember but the results of the past itself are present in their future.

“Now you already know, so are you going to hate big brother because he comes from another father?” ask Rendra.

Anugrah shook her head, “But her birth remains from Mama's stomach.” Answer innocently.

“Good, Whiz Papa is smart.”

Rendra hugged his son and smiled at his wife. The relationship between the two began to improve. Cut began to accept the situation and reduce his jealousy. She tries to believe in her husband, recalling how Rendra struggles to marry him. Moreover, there was a child among them and that child was also keeping his father from the temptations of the naughty women out there.

Cut realizes that not all parts of the past should he hate. The closeness of the Risma family with her husband's family that intertwined long before she was present made Cut must be breastfed. The fact that he came after that was something he had to accept. Cut also could not impose his will on Rendra. He can only trust his husband. And the Anugrah will control him.

Many changes that Cut saw from her husband since that night. Her husband never again responded to Risma excessively. And when he came with Mother Yetti to the house, Anugrah would act and buy his father until there was no chance for Risma to approach the father. Likewise with the grandmother who had been freely arranging her daughter-in-law. During Anugrah's teenage years, he always defended his mother when the grandmother was rumbling. Anugrah also often refused the invitation of the grandmother if her mother was not invited. As a result, Mother Yetti never again visited their home because of the Anugrah behavior that made it look bad.

The event that makes Mother Yetti difficult to sleep is during a monthly arisan event at her home. As usual, Cut came with her husband and son. There was also Risma and her family. And it has become Cut's job to help in the kitchen with the household assistant at the house of the in-laws. How lucky Mother Yetti when with her floor the grandson forbid the mother to work at her grandmother's house.

“Ma, let's just bibik. Mama later ketapean.” Prohibit the grace that makes all the attention of the arisan mothers imprinted on him.

“Tante Risma also exist why not help? Aunty Risma is already considered a family, should if there is an event like this, help dong. Don't look at it!”

Cut was confused and he told the son to apologize but the rebellious spirit of Anugrah began to appear. With her cute sangar face she actually dragged the mother to sit and take a plate filling with rice and side dishes and then put it in front of the mother.

“Mama eat first! Don't let the grandmothers care. If you are sick, they don't care either. Just know no.”

Mother Yetti's face was getting less red, Cut himself did not know what to do.

“Look at your grandson, Jeng. Junior High but his words are like that. What kind of education was taught by his mother.”

Angrier Anugrah heard it, “Grandmother calmed down, Mama educated me well.”

“Yes pardon Jeng Yetti, your grandson is very wise. I salute to hear his words. Your daughter has great success educating her son.”

Anugrah wants to return to say but the mother's hand has fixed her arm. Cut shook his head slowly as he looked at the son. Anugra is upset and goes to the back garden to see his father.

“Pa, let's go home!” Rendra was surprised let alone see the face of the bruised child like holding back anger.

“Ayo, home! Poor Mama from earlier must be a maid for the grandmothers.”

Rendra frowned in wonder followed by grandparents who were curious about the words of the grandson.

“What's the matter, Grandpa's grandson, why are you so?”

“Pa, let's go home! Poor Mama from earlier pacing mandir doing work here. Mama is the child or maid in this house?”

“Grace!!!” Rendra raised an octave of his voice.

“If Papa does not want to go home, I will take Mama home.” The grace walked back into the house.

“Come, Ma. We're home!”

Cut himself did not refuse. And with a heavy heart, Rendra had to leave his mother's house to take his son and wife home. Along the way, the father and son continued to argue while Cut could only hold a sob in the back seat. The child he still considers small has transformed into a teenager who began to protect her. Things he never imagined before.

“Papa don't pity Mama? Mama is like a maid there.”

The discussion did not end until they got home. “You can't behave like that in front of Grandma's guests. Grandma must be ashamed of your behavior like this.” The father also does not want to lose.

This father and son turned out to have a stubborn nature as well if they had argued. No one wants to budge until Cut's voice is heard in both ears.

“Until when do you argue like this? Mama wants to sleep, No fuss!”

The following days of Cut's marriage turned drama-filled. Where the son who has been smart in responding to every incident and is good at analyzing the situation with the father who remains steadfast with the stance. The two men beside Cut were hard-pressed to budge on everything.

As of now, Anugrah will be taking on extracurricular activities at her school. There are several options to choose from and each student should only choose one. The father told his son to take eskul karate but Anugrah instead took computer lessons. Almost 24 hours they argue to defend each argument and finally the choice still falls into the hands of Anugrah because of one sentence.

“Any citizen including children has the right to make his choice without the intervention of anyone.”

Glegs…

Ko Rendra!!!

The day passed without feeling it had been three years of walking time with various events accompanying each step of the human child.

Anugrah has become the vocational school student of choice of the mother. This time, both Anugrah and the father compactly agreed on the choice of the mother. While in the other hemisphere, a student was pulling his suitcase towards a bus that read ‘Indonesia’ at Cairo International Airport.

A happy face was beautiful there when receiving a helping hand from one of the women in charge of picking them up.

They???

“Is, wait for us!” the cry of the three friends till jannah was heard while running small after Iskandar who had walked first.

“Welcome to Cairo, the city of a thousand towers.”
