For readers of this novel who came from Aceh and had felt for themselves how hard life at that time, they will feel if this novel does not describe in detail various events.

Although this is only fiction but I do not want to risk the future with unclear reports. So, I play it safe.

Little Rendra has now grown up, he has started to walk even though he is still limped and sometimes has to cry because of a fall. A lot of fun things happen during growth.

"If little Rendra can already eat, give him a boiled egg every day! Boiled eggs are good for their growth because they contain a lot of protein. Moreover, your chicken is a chicken that does not eat shop food. Little Rendra will grow up to be a tall and strong boy from his friends. If there is a cork fish in the swamp near the rice field you can also give it to him. God willing, He will grow with intelligence over his other friends." Fill in the message that Rendra wrote in one of the books.

I always write the progress every month on a thick blank book that Rendra sent. At first I was confused why Rendra gave a fairly thick empty book complete with a box of ballpoints.

I started writing when Rendra had learned to crawl, fever due to teething and the process he tried to stand up to the appearance of his upper teeth. If there was any contact with the weapon or the sound of the bomb exploding, Rendra would no longer cry. Little Rendra seemed to have gotten used to the 'beautiful' sounds. He also already knows asking and calling if there are villagers who pass in front of the house or there are relatives who visit.

Little Rendra never lacked affection. Even the soldiers who are new to our village very often deliver milk to him. Every truck they come home from nowhere, they always come home to deliver milk for little Rendra.

Even though my family keeps their distance from them, they seem to not care. Sometimes when Abu takes little Rendra for a walk in the morning, they always call Rendra and the baby is happy to even wave his hand to them. Does Abu hate them? The answer is no. Even though his son was killed by bullets from their guns, that was the risk of my brother's doing it.

I didn't introduce little Rendra to Rendra because I thought it would be useless. I don't want to make an invisible bond between the two. Rendra would definitely think if he was her father. And if he's big one day I have to say what about the man's picture if little Rendra asks. Should I say that the man was the one who shot his parents? How can I show the man if the pictures of his father and mother were never seen.

The photo of his father is only a photo contained in the diploma while the photo of his mother is also not there. Even the family of his mother did not come when buried. Does his mother's family not know if they have any surviving grandchildren? Definitely not. They had long since left the village after my sister-in-law married my brother. The mother of her sister-in-law and sister-in-law chose to return to her parents' village in another district.

The relative of Abu whom I called Mak Cek then went to Mr. Keuchik's house in the village. Mak Cek entrusted the mandate, "If one day they return, please tell them if Rahmah's second child is still alive! And now it's in the house of Inspiration." Mr. Keuchik nodded slowly, then Mak Cek returned to his village.

The sound of bomb blasts or weapons is still common, but not gunfire contact but the throwing of grenades or explosive shots coming from the bazookas belonging to the rebels. After firing it they immediately disappeared so the government apparatus can only pursue tampa can catch the perpetrator.

Kidnapping cases are becoming more and more devastating is that after being kidnapped no one returns safely. After disappearing for a few days, the victim must have been found in the form of a body of great concern.

I heard some people from other villages who said that the night before Mr. Keuchik's body was found, some residents whose rumour was not far from the hill had heard the sound of people screaming. No one dared to go out let alone climb up the hill.

I also heard that Mr. Keuchik was arrested for not being willing to help fund the needs of the rebels. And the incident continues without any investigation from government officials. Sometimes, the person who is kidnapped is innocent. They just pass by and greet the government officials or their homes have been visited by the apparatus which makes the 'Cuak' report them to the rebels.

Many women become widows and children become orphans simply because of the conflict of selfishness of the higher-ups of the country that the creator may not do.

A week after the death of Mr. Keuchik next door, the village was re-scarred by the rape of several girls in the village. And worse, parents can't do anything when the girl is taken. If they fight, they will end up horrible. Where's the security apparatus? They are in his post.keeping at all times if at any time come back under attack. They will patrol in case of any arms contact with the government or any attack on the rebel base.

"Cut, Abu is afraid. Abu did not want that to happen to you. Pray at all times that God may keep the evil from you." This time I could see clearly the look on Abu's face full of deep sadness.

"God willing, God will protect our families. There's an orphan in our house, Abu. Did not the prophet tell us to love orphans?" Abu nodded his head then immediately then rubbed Rendra's head gently.

One thing I never did with Abu. I never called little Rendra with the call 'Rendra' but with the call 'Teuku'.

"Mother, tomorrow's Sunday. Are we going down?" Tanya Umi who brought three boiled eggs for little Rendra.

"You're confused, Umi. Ash is afraid to leave Cut and Teuku at home. If we take them, they're also very risky. Abu doesn't want to happen again."

"It's not necessary then, Abu. Umi's scared too."

"We eat what is, Abu. Cut's also afraid that we're going down. Moreover, last week's incident in the village next door was very terrible. In fact, Cut had heard from residents who came to Mr. Keuchik's house if the sound of people screaming was still often heard from the top of the hill. There are also villagers who often see Mr. Keuchik walking through the street in front of the houses."

"His spirit may not have calmed down or the family did not take away his spirit at the scene." Answer Abu.
