AMARA

AMARA
Chapter 12

On this supposed sunny morning, it was suddenly dark. The sky, which should be blue, is now turning gray. Cold air pierced into the skin layer making anyone want to stay in their mattress by wearing a thick blanket. Even so, there was still the sound of birds flying.

Amara, the girl just woke up. He opened his eyes and yawned. He felt today was a bad day. Lazy Eve enveloped Amara's body. He wanted to fall asleep again, but he was still sane. He is still thinking about school. With a sense of force, he headed to the bathroom.

He turned on the water tap in the sink, touched the water and washed his face. He shivered in the cold. Then he picked up his brush and toothpaste and started brushing his teeth. When she finished, she took a shower.

Amara came out of the bathroom with a trembling body holding back the cold. He took a blanket and covered his body with it. It felt warm, making him sleepy. Shortly after, Amara put on her uniform and went downstairs for breakfast.

Amara only sees her mother in the kitchen, without her sister Maeza. He asked his mother where his sister was.

"Ma, where's Maeza?"

"She's in the room, she says she's not feeling well, so school permission first. Let's get a letter later" explained the mother.

"Oh, okay. Amara Anterin to school" said Amara.

Then Amara ate her breakfast, after she finished going to school.

Amara was riding her motorcycle, passing the road her sister used to go to school.

After arriving at the gate, he parked his motorbike on the side of the road. Then walked in through the gate and headed to his sister's class. Her sister's class is on the 2nd floor, so inevitably Amara has to climb the stairs even though it feels very lazy.

Upon arriving at the door of the class, Amara was greeted by her two sister friends, Rani and Syifa.

"Who? Amara why are you here?" syifa.

"You want to write a letter Fa, can you please come to the teacher? Maeza is sick again" explained Amara as she brandished a hand containing a piece of envelope containing the permit.

"Okay sister, we'll be there" Syifa said as she received the envelope.

"Judah thank you, I said goodbye first" said Amara then left Maeza school.

While in the school yard, Amara had a look at her watch, which showed it at 06:45. Amara panicked, fearing she would be late and unable to get into school. When the bell rings, the guard will close the gate. Late children will wait outside until the principal gives them permission to enter and sanctions them. Immediately Amara ran a little towards where Amara's motorbike was parked. He started his motorbike and went to school.

The journey from Maeza school to Amara school is quite far, it may take 15-20 minutes, if the road is not congested. Amara raised the speed of her motorbike and shot through the cold city air.

15 Minutes later, Amara arrived. Although he came to mepet once, but luckily the guard had not closed the gate. He hurried to his class. While passing through the corridor, Amara's body accidentally hit the girl who was out of her class suddenly. It surprised Amara so much that she could not escape.

Both fell. And it caught the attention of the girl class boy he had hit earlier. He and the girl were mobbed by children. Both men and women, they swarmed to see.

Shame, shame. Until suddenly one voice broke the crowd.

"Aurel, you gapapa?" said a man with a tall stature and an ideal body. He has black hair and a handsome face.

"What a hell" said the girl.

Amara stood up and apologized to Aurel.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" said Amara.

"Father, relax" Aurel replied with a friendly smile. Then Amara continued on her way to her class.

Amara arrived at the front door of the class. And sure enough, in the classroom there are already teachers who fill the first subject. Amara knocked on the door politely accompanied by fear and guilt.

"Excuse me sir, sorry to be late" Amara said, bowing her head.

"Where have you been?" the teacher was cold. The students stared at Amara.

"I delivered the permit to my sister's school sir" explained Amara.

"The school's far away?" ask the teacher again.

"A little sir, a little far away" replied Amara.

"Not to be repeated, just sit down. Make this Amara's lesson, if it's too late again, I won't tolerate this " said the teacher.

"Well, thank you sir" said Amara then went to his seat.

"Eh Ra, come to the cafeteria" asked Reza.

"Ga ah, I'm males. It's cold" said Amara. Sure enough, when Reza stared out the classroom window, the sky was still cloudy, even drizzles started to fall. Reza walked towards the window, cold air from outside coming inside through the window. Reza shivered from the cold air.

"Because I want to buy a car in the cafeteria, I want meatballs" said Renata.

"Ah, I'm not coming. Suddenly I'm mager" ceplos Reza.

"Well, you know. Come me temenin dong Za" said Renata pleading.

"Good ah, I was in class". Reza then headed to his seat and drowned his face in both hands.

"Well, I'm the same as everyone else. Sure you don't want to come with Ra?" ask Renata to make sure.

"However, do not come" said Amara.

"Jaudah bye" said Renata as she waved her hand and responded with a wave of Amara's hand.

Amara now pulls out her phone and plays it.

"Ra?" call Reza lirih.

Amara who heard him turned to Reza. "What?"

"Not really, just do a test" replied Reza.

"Oh, you freak. Uhm, tumben ga jajan?" ask Amara.

"My males" replied Reza briefly.

They are back in their own minds. A silent atmosphere appeared within their class, although still faintly heard a noise from outside the classroom.

"Rho? You angry, huh? How lately you have been avoiding me" said Reza break the silence. Amara was a little shocked to hear the question coming out of Reza's mouth. How could he think like that?

"No" said Amara hid her feelings of shock.

"Surely because of that time?" ask Reza again.

Amara simply fell silent, then said "No, no, no, no incident at that time".

"Rho? I know, you don't lie to me. I know if you're hiding something from me" Reza said.

"Gue ain't hiding anything from lo Za" Amara denied painstakingly hiding her feelings.

"Yes yes... Whatever" said Reza

KRINGGG

The sound of the school bell breaking the noise, indicating if it has entered the class hours. The children outside rushed to class.

Amara looked around and found that the class was full of students sitting on their benches.

Amara prepared a book and stationery, and she put it on the table. Take a pencil and draw it on empty paper. Amara deliberately drew because the teacher who taught had not come.

Then the sound of footsteps from outside the class sounded like heading towards the class. Instantly students and students who are chatting or joking should stop their actions and sit quietly on their respective benches.

Then a middle-aged woman wearing a uniform stood in front of the class and was followed by a short-haired woman in another school uniform.

"Ekhem, so I brought in a new student. He moved from another school because he joined his father working here. Well, introduce yourself son" the teacher's soft voice by looking at the woman at the end of her sentence, as if to encourage the woman to introduce herself.

"Uhm, I'm Princess Florien Brielle. Greetings" said the nervous woman.

"The name is rich western name, you're not here?" tapped one of the students sitting on the very back bench.

"I'm here, only my parents gave me his name. Oh yes, call me Princess!" said the girl introducing herself. After introducing himself, he was told to sit on one of the empty benches in front of Reza. The girl also headed towards her new bench.
