Anne sat on the edge of the fountain and opened her voice before turning back to see someone standing behind her.

" Emperor." said Anne, bowing respectfully.

Emperor Abraxas walked up to Anne with a flat expression on his face.

Anne who was still bowing just kept quiet she did not know what to say.

To the point where Emperor Abraxas was standing in front of him with his hand pulling his chin forced Anne to look at him.

" I surrender." said Emperor Abraxas slowly.

Although the voice was slow but it was able to surprise Anne.

" What does it mean to give up I don't understand, Your Majesty?" anne asked quietly as she looked into the eyes of Emperor Abraxas.

Seeing the look in her eyes made Anne feel an enormous longing for the figure she loved all this time. Honestly, Anne has not been able to forget Emperor Abraxas even though it has been hundreds of years but her feelings still exist today.

" I love you Anne" Emperor Abraxas said.

Anne who heard it again was shocked because for the second time Emperor Abraxas expressed his feelings.

" We can't be together" Anne finally let out her voice and tears fell on her cheeks.

Emperor Abraxas who heard her clenching his hands looked at Anne.

" WHY CAN'T WE LOVE EACH OTHER. TOGETHER WE WILL BE HAPPY TO LEAD THE EMPIRE AS A COUPLE HUSBAND AND WIFE." said Emperor Abraxas in a frustrated voice as Anne continued to deny her feelings.

Once again, Anne stubbornly shook her head to refute all the words of Emperor Abraxas.

" I refuse him, Your Majesty. Because I know that you approached me only because the nobility forced you to remarry to get a male heir. Finally you chose me to be deceived by being promised as queen. Maybe the other ladies will be happy but I am not" Anne said walking up to Emperor Abraxas with an angry expression.

" Because you and all your men are forcing me to give birth constantly until I get a boy. Like you did it to the late queen Catherine" Anne stared once more at Emperor Abraxas before leaving.
