Crying In His Hugs

Annelise continued walking until she didn't realize that there was a person in front of her that would make her almost fall if no one had hugged her waist.

" Are you okay, Lady?" ask someone who's showing the state of Annelise.

Annelise who had closed her eyes opened her again and was surprised to see the person in front of her.

" Duke Norfolk" said Anne, who recognized the man who had hugged her waist.

The man who heard her chuckled softly at the adorable Annelise staring at her.

" Aren't you able to look away at my handsome face, Lady?" ask again, but this time he let out a laugh.

Annelise instantly noticed it and immediately pushed the body of Duke Norfolk. Until slightly away from her, Annelise's face immediately pale to see the face of the man before her.

Oh Annelise will never forget the man before her. They stared at each other until suddenly there was someone pulling on his waist.

" It seems you have business with my guest, Duke Norfolk." said the man standing behind Annelise as his hands curled around her waist.

Of course it made Annelise feel tense seeing her feelings suddenly just feel calm and subconsciously leaning her head on her shoulder.

" Good morning by noon Emperor Abraxas. Nice to meet you here." Duke Norfolk said, bowing respectfully to Emperor Abraxas.

But the Emperor Abraxas only raised his face ignoring Duke Norfolk. Her eyes glanced at Annelise who was leaning her head on her shoulder and the pale look on her face made her worry.

Her hand involuntarily stroked Annelise's hair slowly.

Duke Norfolk who saw him from afar just raised his face.

" I can't believe there's such a beautiful woman and unfortunately the Emperor seems to be attracted to her" Duke Norfolk said with a grin.

Emperor Abraxas brought Annelise back to his tent. Take him to sit in a chair.

Annelise was silent with a pale face. Duke Norfolk is the man who made his life ruined he is one of Tania's allies who is infatuated with him. He often approached her in a slightly frightening manner. Moreover, Annelise could not do much considering her relationship with Emperor Abraxas was a little stretched.

One mistake that disappointed Annelise was that Emperor Abraxas gave Duke Norfolk an important council position. The relationship between Emperor Abraxas and Duke Norfolk grew closer and closer, as did the relationship with Tania.

The thought of it all made Annelise feel even more hurt without realizing she was shedding tears.

Emperor Abraxas who saw him immediately gave his embrace to Annelise.

" I don't know what your relationship with Duke Norfolk is that makes you feel scared. But one thing is for sure you can cry on my shoulder Lady." said Emperor Abraxas softly.

It was not long before Annelise wept in the arms of Emperor Abraxas. He pulled out all his wounds in the arms of the man who carried them. But Annelise didn't bother him at all because she felt comfortable in his arms.

Emperor Abraxas who heard the sound of Annelise's roaring cries made his pain return. He doesn't like Annelise being hurt he wants to always make her smile.
