Suddenly Emperor Abraxas took Annelise's hand. Annelise was surprised but she was able to breathe a sigh of relief as Emperor Abraxas kept her eyes closed.

Slowly Annelise removed her hand from Emperor Abraxas and held her face gently recalling every facial structure belonging to her beloved man. Annelise could not forget how her togetherness with Abraxas loved the grief they both lived together. Even before their marriage many rebellious people rejected her existence as the wife of Emperor Abraxas considering they preferred the late Queen Catherine.

Of course Emperor Abraxas managed to solve the problem and continued their marriage until his daughter Sofia was born. Where the world feels complete. Unknowingly Annelise thought about it made her shed her tears which she quickly wiped away using her fingers.

" You must forget Anne, there is no love anymore." murmured Anne who tried to strengthen herself before looking at Emperor Abraxas again.

Annelise let out a sigh to make sure Emperor Abraxas was all right. He stood up and walked towards the sofa to lay down his body tonight he could not return to his room because at any time something happened to Emperor Abraxas. He did not want his family to get into trouble due to his carelessness of the leader.

Before closing her eyes Annelise looked at Emperor Abraxas.

" Good night Brax." said Anne before falling asleep.

The next day when Emperor Abraxas opened his eyes he saw a woman who caught his attention in these few days being beside him while taking care of his injuries.

The woman had golden brown hair so when the sunlight hit her it made her even more shiny. Its green eyes are shady for anyone who sees it to feel calm. But unfortunately the woman did not care at all if she made a mistake Emperor Abraxas thought.

Emperor Abraxas was unaware that Annelise was watching him.

" It doesn't matter that I thank you for taking care of me. So how was your trip with Princess Maria not working for you?" ask Emperor Abraxas who changed the topic.

" It is not at all troublesome that Princess Mary is a sweet child. Although his attitude is cold but I understand considering he has just lost a mother at his young age. Princess Maria also seemed to be interested in herbs and flowers. So I took her there." said Anne who seemed unaware to have recounted a trip to the city with Princess Maria while putting on a happy smile.

Emperor Abraxas who saw her could not take her eyes off hearing Annelise speak she had no idea that a childish Lady could steal her heart. She knew that Princess Mary did not like someone who only approached her for power and it seemed like Annelise could convince Princess Mary that she wanted a friendship.

Making Emperor Abraxas could not help but feel his admiration let alone Annelise speaking with a happy face and her cheeks that were blushing beautifully.

" You are beautiful" said Emperor Abraxas, praising Annelise.

Annelise who heard it instantly stopped her story seeing the face of Emperor Abraxas who was watching her. As her face drew closer Annelise could only close her eyes
