Chapter 8

"Don't judge me that cheapness. I was born without a father. But I am not a cheap girl. Understand?!" 

Now the distance between Acha and Eligius is only about twenty centi.

"I'm sorry" said Eligius.

Acha doesn't care about Eligius's apology. Acha upset, sad, disappointed all mixed up. It turns out that there are still people who consider him that cheap. 

"Cha," call Eligius as Acha leaves. 

However, Acha seemed to have not heard the call.

Eligius recalls Acha saying that he was born without a father. Curiosity prompted him to find out about it. 

Mang Yusuf is the only place to dig for information. "Crazy you, El. The time you said that."

"Come on, Mang." The look on Eligius' face looks very sorry. It was as if he was judging Acha as a "campus chicken"

Mang Yusuf and Sartika live in the same village only their hamlets are different. The news of Sartika's pregnancy without a husband spread everywhere of course it was a little Mang Yusuf knew about it.

Coincidentally at that time, Fenita's mother also just gave birth to DNA she needed a nanny for Adeline.

Acha walked out of the room. This afternoon he was dressed quite neatly, a long-sleeved shirt shirt paired with his hijab toad pants.

While the other residents are busy preparing their vacation equipment, including Sartika. Sartika should not not go along because Sartika who understands the needs of Adeline. Sartika understands more about Adeline than about her biological children.

"Are you really not coming, Cha?" asked Ms. Fenita who was sitting sweetly, watching the housekeepers pacing back and forth preparing for their holiday needs.

This time they decided to take a close vacation. It just so happened that Ibu Fenita had just bought a villa at the top. They'll stay there for a week.

"Actually I want to, Mom. But, Acha there's guidance these two days." 

"No messing around, what?" ketus Adeline whose eyes focus on the latest output phone screen.

"Hmmm, you have to pay if you want a re-guidance" said Acha.

And Acha also asked Sartika for permission to go to campus for a while. 

"You're just being escorted by El!" tell Fenita's mother. "You've been escorted to the apartment, as long as we've been."

"I stay at a friend's room, Mom," Acha refused at the wishes of Ms. Fenita.

"Yes, already. Then let El keep driving you. Let us know where our friend's boarding place is."

Actually Acha wanted to refuse again Mother Fenita's order but, she already had no reason for it.

Acha sat in front, next to Eligius who was driving. Along the way Acha was silent. He's still upset by what Eligius said last night. 

"Cha," called Eligius and turned briefly towards Acha whose gaze was focused forward.

"Cha." Repeated Eligius because the first call did not exist.

"Yes." Yeah." Acha answered briefly dns without turning her head.

"I'm sorry for what I said last night" Eligius said with a serious face.

Now Acha who turned to Eligius who was focusing on driving. "Acha forgive." Acha took a breath. "Acha guess after adulthood will not be bullied again turns out to be sharper."

"Bang!" acha shouted as their car almost hit the pavement.

Eligius gasped after hearing Acha's scream. How surprised he was when he found the car he was driving was not necessarily direction. Grateful Eligius could quickly control the pace of his car. The car braked at the right time. 

Acha's face paled as if blood was not flowing into his head. Acha held onto her chest that was beating not in a regular rhythm anymore. 

Eligius reached into the pocket of the car seat. Some pedestrian eyes were heading towards their car and there were also good people who ran towards the car then banged on the car glass to ensure their condition.

Eligius presses power window– lowers car glass.

"It's okay, Mom?" The voice of the woman outside the car. 

"It's okay" said Eligius.

"Alhamdulillah," said the big woman. "This, Mas. Give his wife a drink." The woman handed him a bottle of mineral water and left. 

Acha and Eligius looked at each other at the woman's words. 

"Thank you, Ma'am," cried Eligius wishing the woman had heard.

"We continue on what trip is a short break?" eligius asked Acha while opening the lid of the bottle of mineral water before giving it to Acha.

Acha asked to go ahead, because she was afraid of being late. His mentoring lecturers were renowned for the discipline of his time.

Once on campus it turns out that Eligius did not go home immediately, he waited for Acha to finish tutoring. About two hours Acha left the campus with her friend Vera.

Acha is shocked to see why Eligius is still on campus. "Kok, still here, Bang?"

"You take you to your friend's boarding house."

"Oh, yes. Meet, Bang. It's Acha's friend, where Acha is nginap." 

Eligius held out a hand, and Vera, who was a little coquettish, was stunned to see the good looks of Eligius, until she was unconscious when Eligius reached out. For almost a minute he left Eligius' hand outstretched. After Vera was nudged by Acha then he realized and welcomed the helping hand of Eligius.

Just then, Yogi– Acha's boyfriend came over. His face was not happy when he saw Eligius.

"His face is ordinary!" ketus Eligius to Yogi. "I've seen you drop Acha off at the end of the road." Continued Eligius.

"Oh, yes. So men don't be. Take her and pick up the girls at her house. Just like his parents." Eligius got into the car.

"What the hell, Bang," Acha grumbled.

"Acha, Vera, let's go up!" Eligius opened the left window.

The Yogi gestures to Acha with his fingers forming the phone's handle. Acha also gave a thumbs up.

"Fuck the wedge" call Eligius again.

"Ih, you're busy, brother, nih" picked up Acha and sat in the back with Vera.

"You think I'm your driver, Cha? Sit front!" Eligius glanced from the middle rearview mirror.

Looks achas annoyance. He didn't come down, he just moved straight from behind to the front seat through the gap between the seat behind the steering wheel and next to it.

"You think my business is just you. The chunky!" eligius murmured and immediately stepped on the gas of the car.

The car goes to the address mentioned by Vera. Just ten minutes from their campus. A boarding house with many rooms consists of two floors. These costs are not free. Not being able to accept any male guests was the reason.

"Can't come in, Bang!" Acha pointed at the warning board that was outside the fence. 

At that time Eligius was about to enter, to ascertain which room Acha and Vera were.

"I want to make sure you're safe."

Acha laughed at hearing that. "I'm not Adeline. I'm just Raisya Nur Azizah's maid. What security you want to ensure!" 

Now Vera also laughs to see the face of Eligius reddened. Maybe he's embarrassed.
