Chapter 23

Eligius put the spoon on the plate. He closed his eyes, two people who wanted him to take care of Acha but, the circumstances said otherwise. Will Eligius keep Acha in silence?

Without them realizing it, their conversation was heard by Adeline who from earlier stood behind the kitchen and main room barrier.

"You're messing with me" Adeline muttered and smiled .

She already had an evil plan, nothing could prevent her from marrying Eligius.

The next morning, Adeline accidentally doused a little cooking oil on the top rung of the stairs while Sartika was cleaning her room.

Hurry up she hides behind the window curtain as Sartika comes out of her room. Sartika who was carrying a broom and other equipment did not notice there was a puddle of oil on the floor. Sartika's left foot stepped on the puddle of oil it made Sartika slip until rolling up the last rung.

Before anyone could see, Adeline immediately went inside her room. She was waiting for the screams from the other housekeepers when she saw Sartika lying downstairs.

Sure enough, one of them found Sartika unconscious. Sartika's nose and ears bleed.

After hearing a cry for help, Adeline pretended to be surprised and ran to see what was happening.

The noise inside the house made other workers who were outside the house, run to the source of the sound. Not to miss Eligius and Mr. Malvyn who was in the workspace.

"Hurry the ambulance!" father Malvyn's orders.

After the ambulance was contacted, Sartika was rushed to the hospital with unconsciousness. 

"It's unfortunate, when it's sick like this, his son is not here" Adeline said as she glanced cynically at Eligius.

"May I accompany Buk Sartika, sir?" Eligius tried to ask permission from Mr. Malvyn.

"Enak. What does it have to do with them?" cut Adeline with a slender tone.

"No need to interfere in what is none of our business. Your business is more important. Bring your parents here tomorrow. The day after you and Adeline are getting married," said Mr. Malvyn.

Then Mr. Malvyn left Eligius and Adeline who were still standing in front of the stairs.

"This is one example of bravery with adeline" whispered Adeline in Eligius' ear. "You don't want to, don't you, Acha or your mom to have the same fate or worse" Adeline said.

Adeline returns to her room, while Eligius grabs her own hair because she feels useless with this situation.

"Sir, what hospital ambulance was that?" Eligius stopped ART from calling the ambulance.

After getting information about the hospital where Sartika was taken. Eligius went to the pool to contact Acha. He chose to go to the pool because the position of the pool could not be seen from the window of Adeline's room.

"Nobody's kidding, right?" Acha sounded distrustful of the news that Eligius had delivered.

"Go with mamak!" ask Eligius.

"Acch …." Acha stopped her words.

"Why?" eligius asked curiously.

"Acha there is no money for the fare" said Acha.

"Why not say from yesterday? Have you eaten?" 

"No, Brother. Vera was not in the room. Good thing Acha was allowed to enter with her boarding mother," Acha's story in a soft voice.

"Why didn't you say it?" there was a worried look on Eligius' face.

"Acch …."

"Yes, Brother. Tomorrow after Acha gets the job, Acha change, yes brother."

"Yes, it's up to you." Eligius is deadly

His phone-call.

Armed with the money that Eligius sent, Acha could follow to the hospital where Sartika was taken. Sartika was really alone. They let the mother in the hospital herself in a state of unconsciousness.

Fortunately, Acha arrived on time. The nurse came to see Acha in the ICU room to ask for patient data. 

The strong clash that Sartika experienced resulted in the rupture of the Sartika blood vessels. To save Sartika's life, he had to perform an operation that cost no small amount.

"How many percent are you likely to get well, sok?" ask Acha to the doctor who handles Sartika.

The doctor looked so heavy to answer. "Not to fifty percent."

"I don't charge that much" Acha said, bowing her head. "Can I use social health insurance?" 

"Yes, I can."

Finally Acha signed the operation approval file. In the hospital he was completely alone. Eligius did not want to see him but rather, he kept Acha safe. 

The operation went well after five hours. Sartika was transferred from the operating room to a third-class inpatient home that one room consisted of four patients. 

Looking at the other patient's family there really was envy in Acha's heart. They took turns to look after their sick family. While Acha always himself waiting for Sartika conscious. 

To eat it, be thankful there was Eligius who secretly cared for him. She ordered food online for Acha.

Getting this treatment, Acha even more sad. He must learn to behave normally even if his heart says otherwise.

The second day in the hospital room, then Sartika siuman was also with a worrisome condition. He was not like he used to be, the rupture of the virgin made some of his organs malfunction. To speak, Sartika was no longer able to move her mouth. Other parts of the body as if stiff, can not be moved.

When Acha has not been able to accept the reality of his mother's condition. There was a message coming in from Adeline. A pictorial message showing the wedding invitation card. What was painful was that the names of him and Eligius were written.

Acha looks at the date written on the card. About three more days. The wedding will be held in a hotel ballroom owned by Ms. Venita.

Acha's heart is very sick. Sicker than when he broke up with a Yogi. She wiped the tears that ran down her cheeks. When he realized Sartika was watching him.

As if Acha understood Sartika's gaze, she said that in three days Eligius was married. At that time Sartika tried to move his finger. Acha understood and brought her face closer to Sartika's fingers. Sure enough, Sartika tried to wipe away Acha's tears.

"Mom, do we have to go back to Mr Malvyn's house? How about we stop working there and Acha look for work outside." Acha asked Sartika which of course there would be no answer.

Acha decided to quit her job from Mr. Malvyn's house. When Sartika fell asleep, she left Sartika in the hospital for a while. He had to go to Mr. Malvyn's house for permission to stop and take his clothes.

Arriving at Mr. Malvyn's house, it turned out that this was not the right time. At that time the big house was the arrival of guests, namely the mother and family of Eligius who will witness the second marriage of Eligius.

"Home home, Cha?" Adeline sees Acha at the door and immediately greets her so that Acha can not escape again.

All eyes looked towards Acha. Eligius was still with the same gaze.

"Here, Cha!" call Venita's mother. "How's your mom doing?"

Alright he will use this opportunity to express his intentions here.

"Mom is conscious, Buk. It's just, mamak is like an undead. Can only open your eyes. Just lying on the bed" explained Acha briefly before his speech was cut.

"Your stomach hurts, son?" cut off Eligius' mother.

"Yes, Mom. Falling down the stairs." Acha pointed towards the stairs. "His blood vessel broke."

Acha sat on the floor, while the others sat on the sofa. It seems that Eligius's gestures don't like that.
