The Woman in the Heart of the Adjutant
Chapter 15
"Well, it's a mentally ill kid times, yeah. People want to be proposed is happy, he even flat his expression" said Eligius.
"Acha confused, Bang. Which room will they be accepted into? While we're just servants in that house."
"Take it easy, use the side room. Which is rarely used. I'll help you talk to your mom and dad. For tomorrow night, right?"
Acha nodded and thanked him.
In fact, Eligius was no longer hungry. However, there is an Acha that must be filled in the stomach. Eligius pretended to be ordinary even though his heart was slightly scratched. Not yet had he said love, the person he loved this year will even marry another man.
When they stopped at the place to eat, Eligius handed over the photo to Acha. Acha was so enthusiastic about accepting it and opening it. See one by one the photos.
"It's so pretty that girl in this photo" murmured Acha as if she was talking about someone else.
Eligius hand reflexes pushed Acha's forehead slowly. "Conscious, aware! Sleep less sloping then dream of heights."
"As long as you praise yourself, do it!" sahut Acha full of passion.
Acha looks for something. Many times he saw the inside of the paper bag where the photos were.
"Bang, the picture we both had was not printed, huh?" Finally Acha asked as well.
"No." Eligius was engrossed in chewing the crackers that were in front of him.
"Good, deh. You can see mamak …."
Acha stopped her speech and happened to be the food they ordered had already come.
"Can what?" eligius asked curiously.
"Can ... eat now cold." Acha tried to divert the discussion. There was no way he would tell Sartika's ill-treatment of others.
While eating, Eligius' phone rang, after being seen a video call from Adeline. Acha who saw that, slightly distanced her seat. Acha was afraid that if Adeline knew she was with Eligius she could be scolded by Sartika later that night after everyone slept.
Eligius looked at Acha, Acha put her index finger on her lips and moved her hand as if to signal that she was not saying she was with Acha.
Eligius said that he was eating in a stall. It turns out that Adeline called Eligius to ask for a pick-up.
After the video call is turned off, Acha tells Eligius to pick up Adeline immediately. He can go home by busway.
"I'll take you, okay?"
"No need, Bang. Not good if anyone sees," reject Acha who began to fear.
"So, I'll go first. You're wasting the food." Eligius stands. "Who wants to order again? Let me pay you" Eligius continued before he left the table.
Acha answered no, everything on the table he felt was enough for him to spend alone.
Later that night, Acha tries to talk to Sartika about the Yogi family's plans that will come to visit tomorrow night. Hearing the news, Sartika looks very happy.
He went straight to the living room, where Mr. Malvyn, Ms. Sartika, Adeline and some of their aides were sitting. Joking, his laughter rang out to the kitchen.
Sartika ventured to say it, he also borrowed a room to welcome his guests.
"Well, congratulations, yeah." Adeline reached out her hand but, Adeline's eyes glanced towards Eligius sitting down.
"Thank you, Non." Acha welcomes Adeline's hand.
Just like he said last day, the side room they would use to welcome the arrival of special guests tomorrow night.
Once in Sartika's room, she teaches Acha not to tell her the truth about her father.
"Just tell me that your father has been dead since you were in the womb. Mamak do not want, events such as graduation time repeated again. You're the only one who doesn't call his father's name."
"Mom, it's not that easy. Married if Acha's father dies, Acha must use the father's brother. While Acha doesn't know who Acha is."
"When marriage can all be arranged, you can get married using a judge."
All that Sartika ruled was very contrary to the mind of Acha. Acha doesn't want to start a relationship with a lie. However, who will accept if they know Acha child from rape.
Lazy to think of it, "what will happen, yes, happens."
Acha got into bed and tried to close the eyes that had started to get sleepy.
In a different room Eligius lay with two pillows piled up at once. He reached into the pocket on the inside of the black-colored jacket he was still wearing.
Eligius took a piece of paper and smiled looking at it. It turned out that Eligius secretly took a photo this afternoon.
The photos of the two are actually in print. However, Eligius was embarrassed to admit it so he secretly took the photo.
Having a strange taste when meeting women after so many years of numbness, yes, it was when I first saw Acha. Eligius loved Acha's eyes from the first time he saw her. The shadow of the past made him not dare to express his taste so a year passed by just like that.
Again Eligius kept the photo in his jacket's inner pocket. Then he opened the jacket and hung it on the head of the bed. Reduce the number of pillows and try to close your eyes to sleep early.
Eligius had forgotten what it was like to sleep well. Years of sleeping only on a thin mattress sheet makes him no longer know what it means to sleep. At all times should remain alert even in a sleeping condition.
Being booked like a guardian animal is the right sentence to describe what Eligius went through a few years back.
Until two o'clock, Eligius could not be closed. He decided to leave the room. Sitting by the pool and smoking a few cigarettes. White smoke billowed at night.
For some reason his heart felt so empty tonight, when it made no difference tonight and the night before. All he's been through is the same. It was only this night that he felt completely empty, alone.
To eliminate saturation, Eligius took out a cell phone from his pants pocket. When unlocking the screen, Eligius sees the date listed on the screen. It turns out that it is now the same date on which he saw a betrayal.
Betrayal by those closest to you. Sick? Of course it hurts. The emotions of anger cannot be controlled properly. There was a bloody tragedy that day. Two traitors covered in blood.
It was then that Eligius turned into a cold figure. His soul was shaken, his heart was broken. Until there was no more regret in him.
