The Substitute Woman on the First Night

The Substitute Woman on the First Night
Try Stopping

Happy reading!

After exchanging roles, Almira and I returned to the operating room. In front of the room, I could see Mas Denis was already there and was waiting for me. We approached him too.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I'm sorry that I had to do this crazy thing, but I was forced to defend our marriage, "my inner self still feels guilty, my inner self, but I couldn't tell Mas Denis the truth for fear that he would divorce me immediately upon knowing my lies.

"Darling, where have you been?" ask Denis, but his eyes don't see me. His two beads of eyes looked at Almira who was on my left.

Almira remained silent without saying anything. He just had a sad face and I could see tears on both cheeks. I did forbid Almira to not talk much to Mas Denis. I don't want our slightly different voices to be able to make this role exchange uncovered.

"So we're from the bathroom, Mas. You see, once you get here, Lissa cried constantly because she was worried about you. Look at his eyes so hard!" I said try to disguise my voice to make it look more like Almira. Of course it was easy for me because I had worked as a voice actor for a cartoon on one of the private TV stations. So, it was easy for me to imitate my own sister's voice.

I'm trying to make this exchange reasonable because the last time I parted with Mas Denis my eyes weren't as moist as Almira's.

"You don't need to worry anymore, the doctor came out and told me that the mother's operation went well. Now we just have to wait for mom to be transferred to the ward." I heard Mas Denis say so softly. Right now, he was already standing right in front of Almira and what I saw a few seconds later instantly made my heart feel pain. I saw Mas Denis hugging Almira's body.

"Why does it feel to be this sick? Oh my God .. If I see Mas Denis embracing Almira only I feel so sick, how can I imagine more than this?" My heart screamed out. The tightness that was increasingly piercing made me feel helpless and as if immersed in my own game.

With a heavy heart, I let go of Almira and Mas Denis. A few seconds ago it might have all been easy, but somehow my heart just isn't willing to let Almira take my place on the first night that should have been the most beautiful moment of my life.

"It's so heavy. Can I live a lie like this?" I thought hard. Twist my brain and try to fight the fear in me about Mas Denis' anger if I know I'm no longer holy.

I pressed a few buttons on the elevator. Until finally, a few seconds later the elevator door opened and I immediately stepped into it. It didn't take long, just after I arrived at the floor that was my destination, I quickly got out of the elevator and extended my steps to half-running without caring about every pair of eyes that looked curiously at me. For me the most important thing is to stop Almira's departure before it's too late.

Several times my shoulders hit the shoulders of those who stepped opposite me. I didn't have time to say sorry I just left so that the person I had hit sounded scolding me while staring cynically.

Upon arrival in the lobby, I immediately looked for a taxi, but unfortunately all the taxis I saw were filled with passengers. Until finally, I saw a taxi stop right in the lobby and the passenger who was in it got off. I hurried to get into the taxi. Well, my feet tripped in a hurry and I ended up falling.

"Sir, wait!" call me to the taxi driver who has opened the door to re-enter after helping a previous passenger drop off the wheelchair stored in the trunk of his car.

It seemed like my voice was less loud until the taxi driver kept coming in and sitting in his steering chair. I immediately got up and ignored everyone's gaze, then ran to get to the taxi. Without asking, I went in before the taxi left.

I could see the look on the taxi driver's face, surprised that I had just walked in. "Sorry Mommy, where's the goal?"

"My drop off to the Andara housing huh, sir!" I said while adjusting my breath that was exhausted from running.

"OK good, Mommy." The driver began to drive his vehicle out of the hospital.

My mind was still so upset, I repeatedly looked forward hoping Mas Denis' car was not far from the taxi I was riding. But I still didn't find it. "Now how can I stop it?" I murmured inwardly while twisting my cold, sweaty fingers.
