THE SECRET (The Power Of Love Conquers All)
PROLOGUE II

A few minutes later, the two little girls were placated by Ainsley Callista's father. Jacelyn's hand had been wrapped in a cool, cool cloth so the little girl felt quite comfortable now. Papa Ainsley Callista gently wiped the tears at the end of Jacelyn's eyes using the end of her robe.

Currently, the two girls were curled up on either side of the lap of papa Ainsley Callista who had now sat on the punishment stone. Ainsley Callista curled up on the right. Jacelyn curled up on the left.

Jacelyn was deeply moved, as Ainsley Callista's father seemed to be worried about her. There has never been anyone so worried about him as Papa did. Jacelyn fell silent while holding back the embarrassment of all the attention she received from her new friend Papa. However, Jacelyn did not reject all that attention, instead Jacelyn felt very comfortable and wanted to continue to feel that attention.

"The two of you are a very bad couple" the father told the two girls in his arms.

"You screamed louder than the trumpet that was playing there." While pointing at the festival trumpet that is being played in the middle of the field there.

"And running round and round like a worm's torrid."

Hearing Ainsley Callista's Father. Jacelyn jacked her face to see if Ainsley Callista's father was angry or not. But Jacelyn did not find any answer. Because, the man's voice sounded rude, but on his face there was nothing wrinkled like an angry person.

And Ainsley Callista. The girl giggled when she heard what her father had told her. Seeing that, Jacelyn concluded that Papa's new friend must be just kidding.

"That thing obviously made her sick, Papa." Ainsley Callista.

"I also think like that" said the father agreeing with Ainsley Callista. The father turned to look at Jacelyn, who was staring at him. "You're a brave girl, for helping my daughter" she said. "But, if there's another time, try not to catch the bees, okay."

Jacelyn nodded obediently.

The man patted Jacelyn's little arm. "You're a very pretty little girl," he observed. "What's your name, son?"

"His name is Jacelyn, Papa, and he's my friend. Can I take him home, Papa?"

"I want to keep it at home." Ainsley Callista.

"Oh God. Of course not Ainsley Callista." Reject the Father gently.

"He's not a toy, baby. But if he wants to, we can take him out at night at our house."

"Yey, Jacelyn we're going to dinner at my house tonight." Ainsley Callista excitedly. Jacelyn just agreed.

"Brand. It depends of course on both parents" said the father.

"His father is dead" said Ainsley Callista. "Isn't that providing, Papa?"

"Yes, of course," the man agreed. "He had the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen." He said while looking at Jacelyn's face.

Although still a child. It cannot be denied if Jacelyn has a very beautiful face and cute. It's just that a face like Jacelyn is not very liked by Ainsley Callista's father. Because that face is the face of people who are hated by the Kingdom.

"Did I also have the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen, Papa?"

"Yes, you too, Ainsley Callista. You have the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen. You really have it."

Ainsley Callista was very pleased with the praise given by her father. The girl brought her face closer to her face for a kiss on her father's cheek.

"His father died before he was born" Ainsley Callista said. Ainsley Callista just reminded her of that information, which she got from Jacelyn before her. Ainsley Callista felt that her Papa would want to hear that as well.

The man nodded, then said, "Now, my daughter, I want you to be completely silent when I talk to your friend."

"Yes, Papa."

The man then turned his attention to Jacelyn. She felt a little uneasy as she saw Jacelyn glued to her gaze. The little girl looked very serious, even too serious when compared to a child her age.

"How old are you, Jacelyn?"

The girl raised four fingers of her tiny hand.

"Papa, don't you see? Same age as me."

"No, Ainsley Callista, she's not the same age as you. Jacelyn is four years old, and you are now five years old. You remember?"

"I remember, Papa."

The man smiled at his daughter, then went back to talking to Jacelyn. "You're not afraid of me, are you?"

"He's not afraid of anything. At least that's what he told me."

"Shhh, shut up, my daughter. I want to hear your friend talk a little. Jacelyn, is your Mq here?"

Jacelyn was watching the man's face. The man's face was filled with mustache and beard fur. And when the man speaks the little feathers will tremble with each other. Jacelyn wished she could touch the feather, so she could know what it was like.

"Jacelyn? Is your Mama here?" ainsley Callista's Dad.

"No, Mama lives with Uncle Oilbhries. They don't know if I'm here. It will be a secret, and if I tell it, I will never be able to return to see the celebration of this festival. Aunt Olivia told me that."

As soon as the little girl started talking. Jacelyn wanted to tell me everything she knew. "Uncle Oilbhries says he's like my Papa, but he's just my Big Brother and I never sat on his lap. I would never want to if I could, but I can't be it doesn't matter, right?"

Ainsley Callista's father found it difficult to understand what Jacelyn was explaining to him. Ainsley Callista understood what Jacelyn was saying.

"Why can't you if you want to?" ask Ainsley Callista.

"My uncle's leg is broken."

Ainsley Callista closed his mouth unexpectedly. "Father, isn't that sad?"

Ainsley Callista's father could only exhale deeply, without knowing what to say. The conversation between the two girls was out of his control.

"Yes, of course," the man replied in agreement. "Now, Jacelyn, if your Mama is home, how can you be here?"

"With my Mother's sister" replied Jacelyn. "I used to live with Aunt Olivia and Uncle Noriie, but Mama doesn't let me anymore."

"Why?" ask Ainsley Callista.

"Because Mama heard when I called Uncle Noriie 'Papa.' He was very angry and hit me on the head. Then Uncle Oilbhries told me I had to stay with him and Mama for half a year so I could know who my parents were, and Aunt Olivia and Uncle Noriie had to accept my absence. That's what Uncle Oilbhries said. Mama didn't want to let me go even if only half knew, but Uncle Oilbhries hasn't started his after-dinner drinking so Mama knows that he will remember what he said to Mama. The man always reminded everyone when he was not drunk. Mama's back on the rampage."

"Did your mama go berserk because she'd miss you so much for the other half of the year?" Ask Ainsley Callista.

"No" whispered Jacelyn. "Mama said, I'm a bully."

"Then why doesn't he want you to leave?"

"She doesn't like Uncle Norrie" replied Jacelyn. "That's why, he did the opposite."

"Why doesn't he like your Uncle?" Ainsley Callista wants to know.

"Because Uncle Noriie has a relationship with a fucking Stewart (kingdom)," replied Jacelyn repeating what she heard over and over at her home. "Mama said, I can't even talk to a fucking Stewart royal guy."

"Papa, am I fucking Stewart?"

"Most likely not."

"What about me?" jacelyn asked, concern was heard clearly in her tone.

"You're a Northumbrian royal, Jacelyn?" Papa Ainsley Callista explained patiently.

"Am I fucking Northumbria?"

Papa Ainsley Callista clearly disliked what Jacelyn said.

"No one is a fucking person" the man explained, saying something, but then he laughed to himself remembering what he was going to say.

"I'd better remember not to say anything in front of you, because I don't want you to say it back in the future."

"Why is that, Papa?"

"Don't think about it" replied the man.

The man stood up, holding his daughter in one arm, and Jacelyn in the other. The two little girls surged in delight as the man pretended to drop his second.

"We'd better find your aunt before they start worrying, Jacelyn. Show me the way to your tent, little girl."

Instantly, Jacelyn felt extremely frightened. The little girl did not remember where her tent was. Because she did not understand colors, Jacelyn could not even give a picture to Papa Ainsley Callista.
