The shooting of Bella

On his way to Indonesia, Bella was operating on a presidential plane to remove a bullet lodged in her chest. The bullet almost hit his heart.

"How's Bella's condition doctor?."

Poly sat down uneasily as the doctor exited the operating room in the plane.

"Bella needs the First Lady's blood transfusion, we're short of one bag of blood for her."

Doctors looked down in their confusion to get blood from where while their position was on an airplane heading to Indonesia.

"Take my blood docks by chance our blood type is the same."

Kevin who heard Poly's words approached him, "But baby your condition is also weak. I don't want you to do anything."

Kevin was also anxious to hear his beloved wife wanted to donate blood while Poly's condition still had not recovered properly.

Poly clasped Kevin's hand, "I'm fine Mr. President you don't have to worry. I would feel guilty if Bella couldn't be saved, all this time she always took good care of me now is the time for me to repay her actions."

Poly smiled confidently looking at Kevin Hendrawan his beloved husband.

The doctor then began to prepare everything Poly needs to do a blood transfusion, in Poly's heart always pray that his blood can save Bella the Paspampres who is always faithful to be beside him. He also wants to protect Bella as Bella has done for herself and her family.

The President of Indonesia and the First Lady arrived in Indonesia at three in the morning, Bella was immediately taken to YPK Mandiri hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Poly and Kevin take Bella there even though Kevin has asked Poly to rest first, but Poly insists on accompanying Bella in the hospital. Kevin was forced to follow the wishes of his wife, he knew that Bella meant a lot to him. Poly already thinks of Bella as his own son. Kevin and Poly take a break at the hospital next to Bella's treatment room.

At 10 am Bella regained consciousness from her sleep, she looked around and found Poly sitting on a couch while asleep. In his hand was attached an infusion needle and several cables on his chest. Flashbacks of the shooting that happened to him gushed in Bella's head.

The Flashback

Bella was standing not far from the position of President and First Lady, her eyes were incessantly watching the situation around Potomac Park.

Sometimes he smiles cynically seeing the intimacy between Kevin Hendrawan and Poly Irawan. Right now you can still smile like that but when you get the news of Paloma's death your life will definitely suffer greatly.

Suddenly Bella's phone rang she looked around to make sure no one was nearby, because if they were on duty Paspampres was forbidden to take calls from anyone.

Bella looked at her phone and saw the private number that contacted her, Bella thought it might be Albert Hall who sometimes called her using a private number.

"Hello!."

Bella picks up the phone in a tart tone, she is upset with Albert for not sending her money this month.

"Prepare Bella it's your turn soon!." The voice of the stranger on the phone sounded like a male voice.

"Hello who's this."

Tuuut...

That phone call's been shut down, damn it! who is this person why he said that.

Not long after the incoming message sounded on Bella's phone, she opened the contents of the message and was surprised to see it. Photo of Gael Avignon being chained with a battered face visible.

Dorr..

Someone shot Bella in the chest, the pain running through her entire body with blood rushing through her shirt. Bella's vision faded and she fell unconscious on the ground.

Flashback Off

"You're aware of Bella?."

Poly who woke up from her sleep was so surprised when she saw Bella had already opened her eyes.

"Mothers.. I'm sorry to bother you, how's Mom doing, are you okay with Mr President?." Bella looked at Poly with a worried look, acting.

Poly grabs Bella's hand and rubs it gently, "I'm fine with Dad you take it easy Bella. Now just think of yourself so you can get well soon."

Poly smiled sincerely, there was a loving look in his eyes for Bella.

Poly pressed a button near Bella's bed to call the doctor. It didn't take long for the doctor and two nurses to walk into Bella's treatment room. Polypun came out to give the doctor a chance to check on him.

"What do you feel right now Miss Bella?." The doctor asked after the whole examination was over.

"I just feel pain in the scars of the doc."

"Well I'll give pain medication to your wound. You should be thankful that the shot didn't hit your heart, even if you lost a lot of blood. It's a good thing when the First Lady's plane wants to donate her blood for you, otherwise I don't know what's going to happen to you."

Bella gasped in shock when she heard the doctor say, "Doc blood donation?."

"Yes Miss Bella, thank the First Lady she seems to love you as much as she loves Miss Paloma her child." The doctor smiled sincerely looking at Bella, he was even saying goodbye to come out of the treatment room.

There was a sense of tightness in his chest considering the words of the doctor, he did not expect that Poly Irawan would do something so noble for him who had done evil to the President's family. Guilt and regret pervaded Bella's heart and mind, not knowing what would happen when Ms. Poly found out that I was involved in Miss Paloma's abduction.
