"From today on you will work as my assistant, and you will be sitting at the side table there!."

Dave turned around and sat down at his desk and kept Barbara's phone in his pocket.

You fucking assistant! He even confiscated my phone. Damn it! I can't move around as long as he's near me. Barbara grumbled inwardly as she could not contact Alano.

Dave's office door was knocked from the outside. Kate's secretary, Alano Lodovico, went inside carrying some boxes of food in her hands.

"Dave, I brought you some food from home. Coincidentally yesterday my mother came to the apartment, so she made a lot of food. Let's eat together, it's lunchtime."

Kate smiled sweetly looking at the handsome man in front of her, who had managed to attract the attention of the woman all along.

Barbara grieves lazily seeing Kate who makes herself fed up because Alano's secretary looks it, looking for attention on Dave.

Dave stands up and moves to the sofa for lunch along with Kate, the kind and meek woman he knows.

Feeling unable to accept Barbara, she sat down with the two of them who were arranging the supplies that Kate brought at the table.

"Who is Dave? Is he the new employee in the office?."

Kate whispered softly at Barbara who was staring at the two of them sharply.

"She's my assistant Kate."

Kate nodded in understanding, then smiled at Barbara who was still looking at herself and Dave like a mortal enemy.

"Hi, I'm Kate's secretary to the big boss. Hope you're at home working here."

Secretary he said? It's worth it that shitty creature didn't put me in that position, Shit!. Barbara muttered in disbelief because of the other person who was Alano's secretary and not her.

"I'm Barbara."

Barbara talks to the jutek not wanting to get too close to the woman in front of him, who she thinks is just a hypocritical woman pretending to be nice in front of Dave.

"Come on Barbara, we're having lunch together. You must be hungry, too."

Kate gives a box of lunch to Barbara's hand which she accepts lazily.

Dave was silent not wanting to talk or look at Barbara, while eating her food.

"It's so good Kate. Thanks for the lunch."

"Ah. This is nothing Dave. I'm glad you like the cooking."

Kate smiled with a happy heart in the face of Dave. While Barbara rolled her eyes lazy to see Kate who was wrong in front of them.
