Directors Meeting

Alano looked surprised when he saw Pablo Dominic sitting among the shareholders in the meeting room, next to him was Albert Hall sitting and looking at him sharply. Pablo was introduced as a new shareholder replacing Juan Felix with a 20% stake in Lodovico Corp.

Juan Felix is the second-largest shareholder after Alano, with Albert and Pablo confident that the other members of the board could easily be influenced to remove Alano from the CEO's seat.

"I was very surprised that it turned out that an ex-con could easily get a sizable stake from Mr. Juan." Alano quipped Pablo while looking at him mockingly.

"Thank you CEO Alano I take that as a compliment." Pablo smiled cynically at Alano, then glanced at Paloma who was standing next to him. Beautiful is also Alano's wife she thought to herself.

The board of directors meeting that day discussed the purchase of buildings in Venice, the plan was that the building would be converted into a luxury resort. Alano had long been eyeing the building until it was heard that the owner would sell the building because he needed money for the treatment of his son who was very ill.

"I don't agree the price is too high just for a building that's not too spacious like that." Pablo interrupted the meeting as they discussed the price of the building.

"Oh yeah then what do you think is the right price, Mr. Pablo?." Alano folded his arms around Pablo's chest, believing that Pablo would try to influence the rest of the board so that the building would not be bought.

"I think we have to bargain for half the price the seller asks, because the building is far from the city center and to get there requires a trip of about half an hour. I think it's less effective if we build a resort there especially with a purchase price so high, we'll only spend billions of dollars in vain there."

Pablo spoke at length to the other board of directors with confidence, Albert, who heard Pablo's words with a faint smile, was convinced that Alano could not dwell if the other board of directors rejected plans to buy buildings and build luxury resorts in Venice.

"It seems that you did not read carefully the report in front of you, Mr. Pablo."

Alano stood up from his seat with his hands in his pants pocket, he stared intently one by one the members of the board of directors in the meeting room and round the round table.

One of the board of directors said, "Sorry Mr. Pablo, the building has been targeted for a long time and we have observed the building so far. Regarding buildings far from the city center we deliberately chose the building because once the resort was built we will open a wider road so that tourists are more comfortable with the view of enjoying the existing sea expanse all the way to the resort."

Alano smiled faintly at the words of one of the members of the board of directors, while Pablo fell silent with his explanation.

"We should review again the purchase of the building."

This time Albert raised his voice he did not want to lose just like that in this board meeting

"The building will be bought!."

Alano said aloud, if it was like this no one would dare to fight it because whatever the CEO said was absolute let alone they knew Alano did not like to be denied.

"Please Miss, a beautiful woman like you does not deserve to stand for too long. Looks like you're such a loyal assistant that you'll stand for hours next to your boss." Pablo smiled sweetly at Paloma, he deliberately did it in front of Alano because no one knew Paloma's identity as his legal wife.

"Thank you sir." Paloma returned Pablo's smile no less sweet.

Pablo's heart skipped quickly to see Paloma's beautiful smile, Pablo's eyes did not stop looking at the beautiful face with black eye beads and red lips.

Alano who saw the interaction between Paloma and Pablo cleared his throat while pulling Paloma's hand out of the meeting room. All eyes looked on in disbelief what they had just seen, the article Alano never held the hands of people carelessly let alone the person was a woman with the status of her personal secretary.

Alano brought Paloma back into the CEO's room, he still faithfully held Paloma's hand until they entered the room.

Cecil directs his eyes to follow the two who look friendly in his eyes, Damn! I've never even been held up like that by Boss Alano.

"Until when will you hold my hand Alano? I'm not a cow you pull around like this!." Paloma snorted to see Alano's hand that did not let go when they reached Alano's room.

"Why don't you like it? Not that you were so happy when Pablo took you a chair and smiled at you Paloma."

Alano pulled Paloma's hand and locked his body to the wall, Alano's breathing can be felt in his face. Paloma suddenly misbehaved and red hue, he tried his hardest to push the sturdy body of Alano to get away from him but instead of away Alano getting closer to Paloma.

"Then why at least he's more concerned about you than Alano. You let me stand for hours beside you, do you think eemmmmm....."

Paloma was shocked when Alano's lips kissed his lips, his heart felt beating faster even Paloma's body stiffened unable to move.

Alano smiled and licked her lips as the short kiss stopped, Paloma's white face flushed red she clenched her hands and reflexively slapped Alano.

"Basic crazy!." Paloma pushed Alano's body strongly and ran away from Alano's room.
