Then Shen Wenhuan followed Chao Bence walking a bit away from Lian Haocun and Lian Huanran. Lian Haocun used his brain to seriously estimate what Shen Wenhuan was trying to convey.
While Lian Huanran asked a direct question, “Kakak, why are they talking all the way from us?”
Lian Haocun shook his head not knowing.
Shen Wenhuan made a barrier around himself and Chao Bence. After confirming that Lian Haocun and Lian Huanran could not hear him, Shen Wenhuan said,
“Mr Chao, can Mr Chao grant any of my requests?”
Chao Bence nodded and estimated what request Shen Wenhuan wanted in his mind.
Shen Wenhuan said firmly, “I know that Mr. Chao will definitely always protect Haocun and Huanran and I believe Mr. Chao can do it.
If anything happens to me later, I beg you to prioritize Haocun and Huanran first and always take care of them wholeheartedly. Is this request acceptable?”
Chao Bence let out a long sigh and said, “So you mean that even if your life is in danger, you want me to prioritize those two boys first? Does Elder Shen know?
If the two boys hear this, they will be very angry and I will definitely be the victim to blame if something happens to Elder Shen.”
Shen Wenhuan knew about it so he apologized, “I know my request is a bit selfish, Mr. Chao. But I think they're both more important than my own life."
Shen Wenhuan's eyes exuded decisiveness, family affection and some other positive emotions thus making Chao Bence slightly stunned.
Then Shen Wenhuan continued his words, "So I hope that if anything happens to me later, Mr. Chao can always take care of Haocun and Huanran."
Chao Bence looked into Shen Wenhuan's eyes who were firm, affectionate and had a protective will. For a moment Chao Bence's heart softened.
'Those boys are very lucky to have such a good Master.' Inner Chao Bence.
Chao Bence nodded in agreement to Shen Wenhuan's previous words.
Shen Wenhuan smiled in relief and said, “Then I will walk the front as before and you are near Haocun and Huanran. Oh and this,”
Shen Wenhuan gave her a storage ring. “In this storage ring there are a few gold coins and some things that will probably be useful for Haocun and Huanran in the future.”
Unabashedly, Chao Bence took the storage ring and kept it. As Shen Wenhuan's back turned against Lian Haocun and Lian Huanran, they could not see for sure what Shen Wenhuan was doing. Moreover, it was a bit dark there as there was no fire from Lian Haocun.
Shen Wenhuan said ‘Thank you’ before they went out and headed for Lian Haocun and Lian Huanran who were already waiting. Then they had a short conversation before they headed to ‘Ruga’ Inn.
The wind blew even louder as they stepped closer to ‘Ruga’ Inn, 'Ruga Inn' as if giving greetings to the four of them. Shen Wenhuan walked ahead and opened the door. There was a ringing bell sign that someone was entering.
Unexpectedly, the place was just like the inn in general. It was just that there were no guests in it and only the servants were cleaning the table painstakingly and carefully.
One of the beautiful female servants greeted the four of them with a smile and invited them to come in, “Welcome, gentlemen. Please go inside.”
Nothing was strange and everything seemed normal, but this was what triggered the awkwardness and strangeness in the hearts of Shen Wenhuan, Lian Haocun, Lian Huanran and Chao Bence.
The inn hall had several round wooden tables with chairs around it. There are eight round wooden tables with four chairs surrounding each table. The interior of the inn hall was quite nice.
There is also a reception desk with a receptionist who is in charge of receiving guests. The waiter took the four of them to the reception desk and made small talk and left to continue his work.
The receptionist asked for their individual needs per person politely and kindly. “So gentlemen book three rooms. Do you gentlemen want to eat now? Or take a shower? We can prepare warm water for gentlemen if gentlemen want to take a shower.”
Shen Wenhuan as the leader of the group shook his head and said, “Please prepare some food. How much?”
The receptionist replied eloquently, “Fourteen gold coins.” Shen Wenhuan took out fourteen gold coins and placed them on the reception desk.
The receptionist picked it up and saved it and said in a strange voice that was very different from before and full of warnings, “Oh yes, gentlemen. In room number five located on the right corner there are VIP guests. So I hope gentlemen don't bother him.”
Shen Wenhuan nodded in understanding and left without saying anything followed by Lian Haocun, Lian Huanran and Chao Bence.
The gentle face of the receptionist immediately changed, replaced by a strange mysterious smile imprinted on her face.
As well as the other servants, they harmoniously looked over to where Shen Wenhuan, Lian Haocun, Lian Huanran and Chao Bence were leaving with strange mysterious smiles like on the faces of the receptionists.
Shen Wenhuan was not aware of this because he left first but Lian Haocun realized it as well as Chao Bence who had a serious face.
