Sympathy and understanding emotions are different things. Lian Haocun did not understand why it was only for the sake of his children not to suffer, he said, Lexie gave her children to someone she had just known for less than a month rather than babysitting on her own which Lian Haocun clearly said was safer.
Lian Huanran was terrified of the enraged Lexie, she hid behind the back of her clueless sister and confused at Lexie's emotions.
Lexie said, “Although I wanted to spend my time with them, training them to be strong, living with them. I can't do it..... I can't be a selfish person.”
“Especially if they should be in danger because of me. I'm sorry, young man I can't fulfill your request to come with you, but please take good care of my children.”
Lexie continued, Lexie's eyes reddened as she said sentence after sentence slowly although not too visible.
Lian Haocun knew that it was impossible to change Lexie's decision, so he dispelled all feelings and questions of confusion in his heart due to the Yellow Winged Tiger's emotions and said in a cold, yet firm, tone,
“I'll do it as best as I can.”
Lexie smiled in response, the smile was like the smile of an affectionate mother, exuding a warm feeling that warmed the hearts of people.
“Thank you.” Lexie said with gratitude and trust in Lian Haocun and Lian Huanran.
Lian Haocun was stunned for a moment, ‘Why so happy? Is it not possible that they will never see each other again? I don't understand.’ Inner Lian Haocun while Lian Huanran's eyes were reddened again due to being moved,
“Yes, we will try to keep it as good as possible.” Said Lian Huanran full of gentleness, cheerfulness and spirit.
Lian Haocun responded to Lian Huanran's words with a brief ‘Hm’ sign that she agreed.
Canda Lexie though her eyes still have the sadness of going parting ways with her children. The atmosphere in the previously heavy Cave instantly returned warm and harmonious.
“It's almost time.” Lexie.
“I will help by channeling Spiritual Qi.” Lian Huanran chimed in on Lexie's words. Lexie nodded in agreement.
Soon after nightfall, Lexie looks very sick while trying to give birth to her twins, but with the Spiritual Qi of Lian Haocun and Lian Huanran the state of Lexie was better than it should have been when the female Winged Yellow Tiger gave birth.
After about a few minutes, two small tiger-shaped animals with wings that have not grown.
“Lucan.” Lian Huanran's comment saw the twin magical beasts that could neither roar nor do anything so they could only lie in place.
One of them is white with a black pattern, the small animal looks funny because it is small while the other is orange with a black pattern similar to Lexie. They both don't have Lexie-thick fur yet. Their eyes were both closed, but they still looked very cute.
Lexie who was still a bit weak approached the two little tigers and stroked them with her head then asked Lian Haocun and Lian Huanran, “Do you want to name them?”
Lian Haocun answered briefly, "No need."
Lian Huanran immediately chimed in on her Brother in spirit, "Yes, you can name them as you please. Think of it as memories for your children."
