SYAHDU (Contract Sleep Friends)

SYAHDU (Contract Sleep Friends)
Different Principles

After eating alone at the dinner table, Arga took out the lyric papers he created yesterday. He would continue writing the lyrics while waiting for Syahdu to come out of the bathroom.

Arga tried to write some verses. But again he scribbled the paper because he felt the words he wrote were not fitting in his heart.

Before long, Syahdu came out of the bathroom still in his bathrobe.

"Here's a jerk." Arga called. Syahdu complied and sat down as Arga handed him a piece of paper.

"What's this?"

"Lyric. Try writing words about someone who maintains love or the desire to stay with the person you like."

"Do you want to write a song?" Ask Syahdu by continuing to look at the paper in his hand.

"Yes. But the lyrics are hanging. Can help?"

Syahdu read the lyrics Arga wrote, he nodded his head as he understood the essence of the lyrics.

"Good, really."

"But it's not perfect, so I asked you to go again."

Syahdu picked up the pen and started writing the words on paper. Arga also noticed the sentence written by Syahdu while smilingly looking at the girl's serious face.

"Lo confided, huh?"

Syahdu stopped his writing and glanced at Arga. "You want help, right?"

Arga giggled, then let Syahdu continue his writing until several verses and he handed over the writing while Syahdu changed clothes.

Arga read slowly. He smiled in satisfaction and began to match the tone he had prepared with the lyrics.

'Can these eyes continue to stare for a long time.

We can hold hands every day.

Can I still have you even if the world is against us.

Because I want to stay by your side, even if the world shakes though, I'll be fine as long as I'm with you. Why don't you just stay here?'

Arga smiled singing that. The lyrics Syahdu created today are not just describing his mood. But it is also similar to his feelings.

Arga looked towards Syahdu. The girl sat leaning against the wall looking at her cell phone that kept ringing. Maybe the one who called him was Wicak. Behold, Syahdu's face turned sad again. Arga who saw it was immediately written in the lyrics.

'The pain will not go away on its own. Hold me tight then we'll leave everything behind. Since I want to stay by your side, then don't leave. Stay here..'

Arga wrote a big headline on paper. 'Stay here.' He breathed a sigh of relief as he successfully completed the lyrics with perfect words.

Arga standing. He wanted to show off his creation to Syahdu. But the girl bent her knees and cried without a sound. He could see Syahdu's shoulders swaying again.

Arga undoes the intention. Three nights have been spent crying. Why does he keep it that way?

Arga squeezed the paper in his grasp. It felt like Syahdu's love for the man was huge. Moreover, Syahdu looks very helpless with tightness that shakes his body. It was a response from Syahdu's body that felt unable to with what he was feeling.

Syahdu raised his face and hurriedly wiped away his tears. But it's useless, because those eyes keep on shedding tears.

"I don't do anything." Answer without asking. His voice was raucous and a hiccup was very clearly heard from his breath.

Arga sat next to the girl. He bent his knees and stared at Syahdu.

"Gue didn't think. If you still love me, why break up?" Ask Arga without further ado.

Syahdu was silent. People like Arga do understand what he feels? Notwithstanding. Moreover, everything happened also because of him.

"Lo it, if you think it's just torturing yourself. He mah, delicious. Men, must be very quick to get a girl. Well, elo. Nangiiis mulu."

"It's good that he gets a girl. Hope the girl is well. Not rich."

"Emang lo not baek?"

Syahdu shook his head. "I betrayed him. Don't pant with her."

Arga sighed. He felt strange with Syahdu's current thinking.

"Gue guess, deh. You must have broken up because you're not virgin anymore, right? Trus lo felt guilty for not giving it to him. That so?"

Syahdu was silent again. That was indeed the reason he had made to part from Wicak. But that was not just any reason, because he was also thinking about Wicak's future.

Seeing Syahdu silent, Arga continued his words.

"Yes, I tell you. Today, as it is, it is not so important, you know. You think all the girls in this town are virgin?"

"That's you, Ga. I'm different. I think it's an honor. That's why I've been looking after him. If it is rich gini, I feel I can not be with the Wicak who took care of it for me. I've really betrayed him."

"Shahdu, horrifying me. There really is. But, I'm sure you are, that lo guy must have accepted you for who it is. He also understands, time, that it is not the beginning of a relationship. If he loves, then love doesn't have to look at that."

Somehow, although Arga sided with him, but the man's answer was not acceptable Syahdu.

"But, Ga. What if he knows I'm not virgin. He must be disappointed, right? He must be hurt, right?" Ask Syahdu with a raucous voice.

Arga can't answer that. Because he himself knows, every man has different principles.

"Why can you so easily talk, because you do the same. If you have a woman who is not virgin, you have no problem because you have enjoyed many women. But he's different. He was never rich."

Arga leaned his head. He remained silent for quite a while until finally sighing softly, gazing up and muttering. "Lo's right. But you have to know, a feeling that is far above love can certainly accept it. And I'm sure, that guy can definitely accept it, because all he needs is you beside him. I can fuss over his love for him to elo, really."

Really so? Syahdu. Again she cried. Feeling that he is not worthy of being with Wicak.

Arga gave a rough sigh hearing Syahdu's cry again. "My advice, don't think about the distance first. Mending you just walk, make yourself happy. As time goes on, you two will find a way to live your lives." Arga stroked Syahdu's head. "Lo don't worry, there are still many men who want to be the same you if he rejects elo." He said then leave.

As simple as that Arga said. He lived his life like that. If you like to say like, if not then it means no. He doesn't like to twist. Everything can be discussed and there is a solution. That's why Arga's speech is difficult to accept by Syahdu.

"We are different, Ga. Men are still acceptable even though they have done anything in their lives. Different from women who are different and feel if he violates the norms of life." Lirih Syahdu while looking at Arga who has hugged his guitar on the sofa.
