55. Keep Distance

As usual this morning Rendi still protested because Radit still told him to replace Rania as a driver.

''Radit's brother who drove today yes'' persuaded Rendi to follow Radit walk towards the door.

''Hmmm'' there is no answer from Radit. He just kept walking regardless of Rendi.

''Why is Radit silent? I've been a driver for a week, brother. Can't this day replace Radit's brother? if it continues like this, I better stop... Well'' Rendi stopped nagging because it hit Radit's back which suddenly stopped suddenly.

''Why did you stop suddenly? my forehead is going to hurt, said Rendi.

But Radit did not answer. He silently looked at his car that was in front of the house. Curious Rendi peeked out from behind Radit's back.

''Antiiikkkk'' shouted Rendi delightedly.

''For the morning sir'' Rania smiled as she stood beside the car.

Rania arrived in Jakarta last night. He deliberately did not tell anyone that he was back in Jakarta. Just side until Surprised to see Rania coming. He was so happy that his best friend returned to Jakarta. So did he come to work today. He wants to surprise Radit.

''Why did you go straight to work? Aren't you tired?'' radit asked while looking at Rania.

''He looks thinner'' Radit's inner.

''No sir. I have been on holiday for too long, replied Rania.

''If so we go straight to the office'' Radit ordered.

''Well sir'' replied Rania. There was a bit of disappointment in Rania seeing Radit's indifferent attitude when meeting him. Radit doesn't seem to care about her.

Then Rania opens the door for Radit. When Radit enters the eye he meets Rania. But he quickly moved. Radit tried to hold back his sense of regret.

''I sat in front of the antique side'' said Rendi trying to melt the atmosphere. He knew that between Rania and Radit there was an awkward feeling. Radit's like avoiding Rania. But he doesn't care. The important thing is that Rania has come to make her happy and also this is her opportunity to approach Rania again.

After that Rania drove the car to the office. Radit looked towards Rania from behind. I don't know what he's thinking.

''How are you doing tik?'' ask Rendi.

''Okay sir'' replied Rania

''Did Mr. Radit get angry because Mr. Rendi hugged me earlier. Why is he silent. Though all this time I miss her so much''in Rania.

Rania is still late with her thoughts. So that what Rendi was talking about was not heard by him.

''Sorry Rania I had to act like this to you. Actually I missed you so much. But for Rendi's sake I have to keep my distance from you Radit's inner self.

''Antiik'' call Rendi.

''Yes sir, sorry what did you say?'' rania asked in shock at Rendi's call.

''You why? are you sick?'' ask Rendi worriedly.

''No sir'' replied Rania.

''So I asked if you would like to eat with me tonight?'' ask Rendi.

Radit is shocked to hear Rendi taking Rania to dinner. But he just kept quiet.

''Is Rendi intending to express her feelings to Rania?'' inner Radit. There is pain in him.

''Sorry my master tonight there is an appointment with Sisi'' refused Rania. He had no intention of accepting Rendi's offer. Rania was also astonished to see the attitude of Rendi. Usually, Rendi likes to invite him but while joking. I don't know why it feels like Rendi's invitation this time seems different.

It seems I am the only one who is too hopeful. What this feels like to be ignored. It hurts so'' Rania muttered. He looked at his phone, then he looked for a photo of his mother.
