“You have good parents..” Zoey said, whose cries began to stop.

“Of course. If you feel better, how about we go to the bench there?” The man smiled gently at Zoey as he looked at Zoey who was calmer.

“Um.” Zoey nodded her head once.

The man also helped Zoey go to the bench that was not far from them. “Pelan-pelan course.” Said the man as Zoey grimaced in pain from walking.

When they reached the bench, the man slowly helped Zoey to sit there. 

“Can you press your wound like this for a moment? I'll go buy ointments and bandages for your wounds.” Said the man while gently pressing the wound on Zoey's knee.

“You..”.

“Daniel. Daniel Brown's. Call me Daniel only.” The man looked at Zoey with a very calm look.

“B-OK, D-Daniel... is there anywhere near here to buy such a thing?” Zoey asked hesitantly.

“Take it easy, the distance is not far, I'll be back as soon as possible.” 

Zoey wiped her tears so quickly that there were no more tears left, she then immediately touched Daniel's handkerchief on his knee and pressed him gently.

“I'll be back soon.” Daniel then immediately stood up and ran away leaving Zoey there.

“This is a shame... does he think I'm so pathetic.?” Zoey stopped pressing the wound on her knee and looked at the blood-soaked handkerchief.

Zoey pressed her wound back slowly and looked up at the already dark sky. “Maybe tomorrow I have to find a new job again. I don't know how to deal with it anymore.” Zoey imagined the disappointed and sad face of Adriel.

“Sorry for making you wait.” Adriel's voice woke Zoey from her long daydream.

Zoey lowered her head and looked towards Daniel who was standing in front of her exhaustedly. “You're fast once..”

“I told you I'd be back soon right..?” Daniel wiped his sweat and gave Zoey a bottle of water. “I thought you were thirsty.. So I bought you a drink.” 

Zoey is surprised by Daniel's kindness to the person she just met. “How can you live in this world with that kind heart.?” Zoey took a bottle of water that Daniel bought.

“And I've opened it for you so no you don't have to use too much energy to open it.” Daniel said with a gentle smile on his face.

Zoey unscrewed the bottle and what Daniel said was true, she could open it very easily. “You're too good..” Zoey looked at Daniel with a worried expression.

“Hehe.” Daniel looks pleased with Zoey's praise, then he takes the ointment and bandage he has bought and treats Zoey's wounds.

“Should now be fine.” Daniel said after he finished treating Zoey's wounds.

“Thank you..” Zoey tried to move her knee, despite Daniel's treatment, Zoey still felt pain in her knee.

“Please don't push yourself too much, even if I already give ointment to your knee doesn't mean it will heal right away…” Daniel lectured Zoey who seemed ready to get up and walk with a worried expression.

“M-Sorry..” Zoey stopped moving her knees and returned to sitting quietly.
