“Release! What do you think you're doing?!” Maria tries to take her hand off Gary but to no avail.

“Why did you suddenly become like this? When we were dating, you were so kind to me. Who turned you into this? Ah... I know, it must have been the act of that damn woman right?!” Gary started raising his voice.

The people who passed by there just passed by and didn't care about them. “Sial! Why is he suddenly here?!” Maria continued to try to let go of Gary's grasp in various ways but remained unsuccessful.

“Where do you live now? Let's go to your place of residence and have some fun there.” Gary said with a horrible smile on his face.

“Hah?! If a pathetic person like you comes to my residence, it will get dirty.” Maria encouraged herself to reply to Gary.

Gary only sighed when he heard Maria's words while ruffling his own hair with his hands. “I guess you still don't know your current condition. Do I need to explain everything to you?” 

“Heh! Just hearing your voice makes me sick.” Maria clawed Gary's hand firmly, but Gary's hand didn't relax at all.

“It's in a public place so I don't really want to make trouble, but how is it? You started it!” Gary suddenly raised his hand and was about to slap Maria. 

“Excuse me..” Suddenly a big tall man wearing a suit stands in the middle between Gary and Maria. “Can you get out of there? I want to buy something from the shelf there.”

“Hah?! All you have to get out of here is you fucking asshole!” Gary who was about to slap Maria now aimed his punch at the man.

The man easily caught the blow. “Hah...I really don't want to be too looking for trouble..” After saying that, a powerful punch landed on Gary's face until it knocked him unconscious.

After that, the man immediately picked up the item on the shelf near Maria and left just like that. 

Maria ran towards her apartment with a very happy feeling. Arriving at her apartment room, she immediately calls Zoey with joy. “Zoey..!” 

Zoey did not answer her call at all and when she arrived at the sofa where Zoey had been, she saw Zoey sleeping there with a blanket over her body.

“Hm? What is this?” Maria's gaze was fixed on a scrap paper on the dining table, she immediately walked there and saw the writing on the memo.

‘Thank you for dinner.  Adriel Wilder.’ 

“He's gone? Too bad, I think if I leave them both, something interesting will happen.” Maria said disappointedly.

“Did she feel ashamed for falling asleep on Zoey's lap? hehehe.” Maria laughs with satisfaction as Zoey lets Adriel sleep on her lap.

“But, who exactly was the man who helped me earlier? He's really cool! Zoey would be surprised to hear this.” 

“Aw!” Maria suddenly felt her wrist that was held by Gary was very painful. 

Maria was upset when she saw her wrists that looked so red. “That damn guy! Why is he suddenly there? Huh..”

Maria took the medicine box that was nearby and treated it with her own hands. “Let's think about it. I felt a little sleepy.” Maria walked to a bed not far from her and suddenly fell asleep.
