“Quick!” Maria said in her heart as she pressed the elevator button quickly.

When Maria reached the floor where their CEO was, she immediately ran to the reception desk and told the receptionist who was there to let her meet Adriel. The receptionist refused it.

“I told you to let me in!” Maria snapped in annoyance as the receptionist did not let her in.

“If you do not make an appointment with Mr. Wilder, I can't let you in just like that.” The receptionist continues to reject Maria who wants to meet Adriel politely.

After Mary continued to force the receptionist to let her in for a while, Adriel suddenly emerged from her room and now stood beside Mary and showed an expression that disliked Mary's presence.

“Do you have any business with me?” Adriel asked with a cold look.

“Oh!” Maria was both happy and upset. He was pleased that he had finally met Adriel and was upset to see her cold gaze.
