“Maria..!” Call Zoey while holding Maria who is still asleep.
“Hm...” Maria who heard Zoey's voice opened her eyes slightly. “Let me sleep for a while longer.” Maria took Zoey's hand away from her and closed her eyes again.
“You've slept for so long!” Zoey keeps trying to wake Maria while shaking her body.
“If you are hungry, I had to buy food for you.” Maria said who was not awake yet.
“Not it! You...why is your hand bleeding like that?” Zoey's gaze was fixed on the bandage on Maria's wrist that had red patches.
“Bloody?” Maria opened her eyes slightly and looked at her wrist. Maria immediately regained consciousness when she saw the bandage on her wrist that was visible there was a spot of blood and immediately rose from her bed.
“Why is it bleeding?!” Maria shouted in panic.
“What really happened?” Zoey looked at Maria with worry.
“Nothing, I'm just a little unlucky.” Maria slowly opened the bandage on her wrist. “Tadi, I want to tell you something.. but what yes... I forgot.”.
“Forgetful basics. Are your hands okay? Can I take you to the hospital?” Zoey looked at Maria's wrist with a worried expression.
“No need, a wound like this can still be strong.” Maria took the medical box not far from her and took another new medicine and bandage. “It's late afternoon, I think I slept too long.” Maria said as she looked out the window where the sky was getting dark.
“Hmm...” Zoey is still looking at Maria with worry.
“Alright..” Even if Zoey doesn't like it, she immediately goes to the dinner table and picks up the cheese bread Maria bought and eats it there.
At the sight of Zoey eating the cheese bread she had just bought, Maria smiled slightly then she immediately returned to bandage her wrists. “I did not expect this to bleed.” Maria looked at her wrist with a sad look.
“Maria, what do you eat tonight?” Ask Zoey who is now standing in front of Maria.
Maria is shocked to see Zoey standing in front of her. “Have you spent it? Very fast..”
“I'm still hungry. I think I'll go to the minimarket to buy some groceries, do you want to drop something?” Zoey asked with a slight smile on her face.
“No, what if we today order food online only?” Maria doesn't want Zoey to go to the minimarket.
“Why?” Zoey is confused by Maria's unusual attitude. “Did anything happen when Maria went to the minimarket this morning?” Zoey suspects that she had a wound on Maria's wrist while going to the minimarket.
“I just want to eat pizza today.” Maria replied with a smile on her face. “Do you not want to continue watching your drama movies?”
“Oh yes, I haven't finished watching!” Zoey immediately ran back to the front of the television and re-watched the unfinished episode.
Maria smiled slightly as she saw Zoey running, then she immediately picked up her phone and ordered a pizza.
Zoey peeked a little at Maria for a while and then went back to watching. “She must be hiding something..”.
