Extra Chapter ROL 4 - Paralyzed

"Doctor, what about my wife's condition?" Raiyan asked frantically as he saw a doctor coming out of the ER room.

Huh

The doctor breathed a rough breath.

It looked like he was very reluctant to answer questions from Raiyan.

"Doctor say! How's my wife doing?" Raiyan asked in a high tone.

"Nyoya Axnes had no serious external injuries. But her spine was banged hard enough to crack." The doctor answered in a loud voice.

"Will it have a fatal effect on the doctor?" Vivian asked now.

"Because the rift experienced by Mrs Axnes is quite severe, it is certain that Mrs Axnes experienced paralysis." The doctor was clearly uncomfortable.

Raiyan fell on the floor.

"Then, is there any chance of a doctor's recovery?" Ask Vivian again.

The doctor breathed a rough breath again.

"The chances of recovery are very small. If it's cured, chances are that Miss Axnes can't walk as normally as before the accident." Obviously the doctor.

"Ray, Axis. Why would Axnes have to go through this?" Vivian asked sobbing hugging Raymond.

"Patience. There's gonna be a way out." Raymond calmed Vivian.

"can't. You can't be like this doctor. Anyhow you have to cure my wife! Whatever it costs me." Said Raiyan who suddenly rose from his position and grabbed the collar of the doctor's suit.

Raymond immediately pulled Raiyan away.

"Calm Mr. Raiyan. I just told you the truth about what I got from my examination. I cannot act before the Almighty." The doctor said a little upset with Raiyan's behavior.

"Hopefully there is a miracle and Mrs Axnes can recover completely. I'm sorry." Said the doctor and walked away leaving the three men.

Raiyan was again sitting limp on the floor.

Her tears flowed for a moment but she cried without a sound.

"What's the point of you crying? You should have been conscious before this happened." Raymond said.

"You know Rai, I'm so sorry I gave birth to a son like you. You're even more of a jerk than Axnes' Papa. I finally understand, all this is just your wits in order to get married to Axnes. You fooled everyone with your fakes. Once you succeed you slowly continue your act of revenge. You satisfied now?" Vivian scolded Raiyan.

"I really love Axnes, Ma." Raiyan tried to convince his parents.

"If you love her, you'll never hurt her beyond the limits of reasonableness." Raymond is now speaking.

Raiyan is silent now.

"Now things are like this. How do you fix everything? If you don't love her anymore, you should give her back well to her parents. Not torture him like this." Raymond also scolded Raiyan out.

Raiyan could not answer anything anymore.

"I'm really disappointed in you Rai. None of my upbringing is inherent in you and your brain other than my blood flowing through your body." Raymond was full of anger.

Raiyan was right to just shut up and bow. He even cried without a sound while hugging his knees regretting the fatal consequences of all his actions.

Before long, two nurses moved Axnes into the hospital room.

Raymond and Vivian immediately followed the nurse leaving Raiyan who was either aware or not that his wife had been taken out of the ER room.

Raiyan raised his head and only realized that his parents were no longer nearby.

He immediately got up and looked for them.

Finally Raiyan heard a sobbing from inside one of the rooms. Raiyan tried to peek and it turned out Axnes who was crying was hugged by Vivian.

Raiyan opened the door of the room slowly and stepped slowly into Axnes's room.

"Dear." Call Raiyan in a soft voice.

"Dear forgive me." Pinta Raiyan is back.

"Go! I don't need you. You're hoodlums. You must be laughing in your heart because you've succeeded in torturing me. Your revenge is avenged." Shouted Axnes, even Axnes did not want to mention the name Raiyan.

"No. I am guilty indeed. But I never thought of taking revenge on you again." Raiyan tried to persuade his wife.

"Go! I said go! Don't ever come see me again!" Tell Axnes to cry roaring.

"I'm paralyzed. I'm disabled and now you're free. You are free to do anything. It's up to you. Go and don't have to come to me. I don't need your theatrics anymore." Axnes said again.

Vivian faithfully hugs Axnes even though Axnes is in a lying position.

"I'm sorry. I am guilty." Pinta Raiyan is still trying to persuade Axnes.

"GO!" Axnes was back to shouting hysterically.

"You better go Rai. Right now open the right time for you to be here." Raymond's Order.

"But she's my wife Pa. I'm guilty of everything that happened today." Raiyan tried to stay.

"Go first. Let Axnes calm down first. If you keep pushing, you're gonna make him even more depressed." Raymond persuaded his son.

"But Pa ... "

"Go Rai." Vivian is now speaking.

Raiyan finally gave up and walked out of the room, but he did not leave.

He leaned against the wall of the room.

"Pacify yourself, baby. Everything's gonna be okay." Vivian calms her daughter-in-law.

"I'm a cripple Ma. I'm no longer useful." Axnes said in frustration.

"Sstt.don't talk like that. Whether or not you are useful is not seen in the fullness of your physical condition." Vivian said again.

"I asked to keep this a secret for a while from my Papa and Mama. I don't want your Papa to get carried away and hurt Rai." Pinta Axis.

"You're such a strong and amazing woman, baby. Even when you're like this because of your husband's selfishness, you're still worried about him." Vivian.

Axnes did not speak. After all Raiyan is her husband, the man she loves, the father of her son.

"How are Yanes, Ma?" Axnes asked remembering his son.

"Don't worry about that. Yanes is safe with Dream." Vivian.

Vivian left Yanes to Dream before they came to the hospital earlier.

Outside the room, Raiyan again cried without a sound to hear all the conversations of his wife and Mama.

"I'm sorry Axnes. I'm guilty. I sinned against you. I've been too selfish." Batin Raiyan's.

He even hit his own chest with his hand.

"I'm sorry." Batin Raiyan is back.
