ROL 37 - Threats

"Darling, let's see which dress you'll be wearing later." Tell Vivian to give Axnes her phone.

They were gathered in the living room to discuss in more detail the preparations for the wedding of Raiyan and Axnes.

"It's all good Ma." Said Axnes while swiping Vivian's phone screen left and right.

"It was a plan from his cousin Papa Rai. You can choose the one that suits you best." Tell Vivian again gently.

Axnes seemed to choose seriously.

"Rai, which one do you think suits me?" Axnes asked confusedly and asked Raiyan for his opinion.

Raiyan stared at the phone screen shown by Axnes.

"Everything. Everything suits you dear." Raiyan smiled.

"You're this.." Axnes patted Raiyan's arm.

"Just pick one that's not too open and comfortable to see Axnes." Max told his daughter.

"The old man is silent." Raiyan told Max.

"Ray." Axnes snapped at Raiyan quite strongly, making everyone stare at them.

Raiyan looked at Axnes as if asking what his mistake was.

"Try to be more polite to my Papa. As much as you hate her, she's still my Papa. My birth papa." Axnes said annoyed.

Raiyan smiled.

"I'm just kidding, baby." Raiyan said hecak pinched Axnes's cheek but Axnes brushed his hand away quickly.

"Your jokes aren't funny. The more days you cross your line. If you keep going like this, I don't hesitate to cancel all our wedding plans. At least I can still pick a guy who can be polite to my parents." Axnes said annoyed.

He then keeps Vivian's phone in front of them, then moves to his room.

Raiyan certainly soon chased after her.

"Hey, honey. Don't be angry like that." Shouted Raiyan while chasing Axnes.

Axnes was not crying but just angry.

When he reached his room, Axnes slammed the door very strongly making the door hit the face of Raiyan who was about to come in.

"God.." Raiyan groaned in pain as he opened the door of Axnes' room and went inside.

Axnes did not care even though Raiyan's nose was bleeding.

"Darling, I can explain. Don't be mad like this." Pinta Raiyan while taking tissue on Axnes's dressing table and removing blood from her nose.

"There's nothing you need to explain Rai. You've been so outrageous, the more disrespectful the day becomes." Ketus Axnes is upset.

"Darling, but I just ... "

"What only? Just kidding? Joking you're not funny Rai. I know my Papa is guilty of your mother or perhaps of your entire extended family. But you also have no right to be disrespectful or even rude like that to my Papa. My papa is not a god who has never been guilty in his life. Everyone has their own past. But everyone also has the right to improve themselves and that's what Papa's trying to do for the rest of his life." Axnes said annoyed.

Raiyan.

"You're no longer joking Rai, but you've stepped on my Papa's pride as a father. Is that a trait that you will instill and teach your children later? If that's the case, I better not get married. I need a man who can protect my little family later, a man who is mature and able to teach good things to our children later. Not a man who always sees people from one of his mistakes and constantly judges the person from his mistakes without seeing his efforts to change." Typhoon Axnes again.

And again Raiyan silenced.

"You should be able to look up to your Mama and your Papa who must have been more hurt in the past because of my Papa. But they throw away their ego and throw away all the glimpses of their bitter past, choosing to sit side by side. Wh-wh-what for? For us Rai, to unite us. Axnes' anger is out of control.

Raiyan silently stared.

Axnes said while removing the ring that Raiyan had given when proposing to him at that time.

Raiyan immediately prevented her.

"Darling, I'm sorry. I was wrong. But please, don't cancel our wedding. I can't without you." Pinta Raiyan was full of regrets.

"I'll apologize to your Papa. I promise I'll be more polite with your Papa. I-i promise. But please don't cancel our wedding. I beg you." Pinta Raiyan clenched his hands in front of Axnes.

Axnes stared into his eyes looking for a lie or a trick of seduction, but nil.

"You're seriously gonna apologize?" Ask Axnes probing.

Raiyan nodded seriously.

"Well, we're down and you're sincerely sorry to my Papa." Axnes's word is firm.

"What to do now?" Raiyan asked weakly.

"Yes, not now. But we don't need to get married now either." Threatening Axnes to his girlfriend.

"alright, fine. I surrendered. I will sincerely apologize to your Papa. Don't threaten me by leaving me. I can't." Raiyan.

Raiyan then turned around and went downstairs.

Stepping in with all her courage, and throwing away her ego as her lover wished, Axnes followed behind.

"Father Max." Call Raiyan stiff.

Everyone looked at him at once.

Max looked at her as if asking what was wrong.

"I'm sorry for all my disrespect. I'm sorry I was so rude and disrespectful to Papa." Raiyan said stiffly but sincerely.

Max smiled and got up from his seat.

He held both of Raiyan's shoulders.

"It's okay Rai. Really, if what you're doing can make amends to your Mama, I don't mind. Really." Max's speech is sincere.

Raiyan. It turned out that talking with the heart felt much better, he thought.

"Papa also apologizes for hurting you." Max hugged Raiyan who was like his own son.

Raiyan immediately smiled.

He returned a hug from Max.

"I'm sorry Pa. Really, I'm guilty and disrespectful here. Don't separate me from your daughter. I beg you." Pinta Raiyan.

Max chuckled, he let go of his embrace.

"What do you think I am? As if to separate my daughter from you after you took her chastity prematurely." Said Max as he was, while Raiyan flirted with him so as not to say it, but Max did not understand his eye code.

Raiyan stared at Raymond and Vivian who were glaring sharply at him.

Raiyan only smiled foolishly at his two parents.

"I love you guys." Axnes hugged Max and Raiyan at the same time.

Both are smiling.

"Sit here Rai." Vivian's absolute word.

Raiyan according, after Axnes released his embrace from them.

"You why is this so naughty? Why do you always make mistakes? It's worth asking to get married fast." Upset Vivian licked Raiyan's ears.

"Sorry Ma, sorry. I promise not to be naughty from now on." Raiyan promised.

Both parents just snorted annoyed at hearing the behavior of this unruly child.

The atmosphere returned to liquid, and they also returned to discuss about the preparation for the wedding of Raiyan and Axnes.

Raiyan kept his promise and was more polite to Max, and of course all thanks to Axnes' threats. Only Axnes can change Raiyan's hard nature slowly, like Vanessa who changes Max slowly.
