CHAPTER 82 (Part 2)

“Why did Grandpa ask that?” Charlotte looked at Grandpa with a worried feeling. Could it be, Xavier had already told their problem? Or... Xavier decided to split up?

It was impossible for her husband to ask for that. He accused her of cheating. Refused to even meet her. Charlotte's heart was racing. He touched his left chest. That thought made Charlotte difficult to control herself.

“Honey, are you okay?” Grandfather looked anxiously at Charlotte who was touching his chest as if enduring the pain. He was very afraid that his granddaughter-in-law would happen.

“A-I'm fine cake.” Charlotte tried to smile.

“You sure?”

“Iya.”

“Then drink first.” Grandpa poured water on Charlotte. He told her to spend it. Then he put the empty glass back on the table.

“Now rest. We will talk again, yes.” Grandpa said while helping Charlotte lie down. Grandpa covers Charlotte and asks her to sleep.

Charlotte's been getting tired lately. It was just a small matter that he always thought about. Arguing with Xavier, as usual, he was unable to do so. Although he had often heard the man's hurtful words, but what was done last to him really made Charlotte hurt. Very wounded. Therefore, he could not deal with Xavier for now.

Grandfather continued to accompany Charlotte until the woman fell asleep. He rubbed Charlotte's head with his wrinkled hands. His lips were pulled upwards forming a small and sincere smile.

“I once promised your Grandfather, to continue to maintain this family relationship. If anything happens to you, son, I'll break that promise. You have to be happy, even if life is difficult. Grandpa will guarantee it.” Grandpa muttered while wasting his breath. He got up from his seat and turned off the headlights. He's out of the room.

Grandfather glanced to the side, where Xavier was standing upright waiting for him. Grandfather straightened his gaze while grunting in annoyance. He walked away as if he had seen no one there.

“Go, I don't want to talk to you!” grandpa's orders that Xavier noticed followed him from behind.

Grandfather stopped his steps when he was already at the door of his room. He turned around and stared intently at his only grandson.

“What else? You want to humiliate Grandpa with your bullshit?!” snapped Grandpa blaring. My face full of tenderness is now turned fierce and creepy. Grandfather's breathing hunted down without turning his back on Xavier who stood fearlessly.

“We talk inside.”

Xavier immediately opened the door and entered first. The man was afraid if anyone or the waiter heard their conversation. Inevitably, grandfather followed Xavier inside and shut the door tightly.

“Speak! I don't have time!” my grandfather is still in a state of rage.

Xavier looked up at Grandpa. “I want to clarify what I said about Charlotte. And also.. the boy.”.

Grandfather immediately turned his head, throwing a very piercing look. He recalled what happened a few hours ago.

Grandpa just got word about Xavier's quarrel with Charlotte's parents. The granddaughter also brought Charlotte back to the Mansion in S City. He was angry when he heard Xavier hurt Susanto and his wife. That news he got from the guy he told to keep an eye on Xavier and Charlotte. Grandpa asked his man to find the cause of the quarrel. Eventually, he finds out that Xavier has been catching Charlotte with another man. Grandpa knows exactly the nature of his granddaughter. Usually Xavier does not care about trivial things about the lives of women around him. Xavier was always indifferent to them as long as it did not concern his life. Grandfather thought, Xavier is still being indifferent to Charlotte. But in reality, her granddaughter was so emotional and not accepting of their relationship. To make matters worse, Xavier leaves Charlotte alone in her parents' house, which is clearly where Charlotte is not valued. After knowing all that, Grandfather flew to S City to meet Xavier in person.

Grandpa knows, the Central Headquarters has been attacked. But that doesn't mean his grandson just left without his wife! He thinks it's still singles tung tung what! Hah, her nature and attitude are the same as her dead son. No rules and happy to hurt women. It happened when he was a young bride. Ckcc.

Not waiting for long, Grandpa arrived at the Mansion quickly. He got out of the car and walked inside. The first thing he saw was the attitude of the maids running around, looking anxious. Grandfather approached one of the servants to ask what had happened.

The maid said her son-in-law's granddaughter was unconscious. He immediately had Samson (the personal assistant of Abraham's grandfather) call a Doctor. Grandpa walked quickly to Charlotte's place. Grandfather gasped when he realized that the intended room was Xavier's parents' second room. Grandfather did not expect, Xavier could be in the room that had not been lived for a long time. He finally went in there.

Grandfather gasped again when he saw Xavier commanding this at the servant in a panicked voice, the man looked worried. Xavier sits next to an unconscious Charlotte. His grandson kept trying to wake up his wife. Just this time, Grandpa looked at Xavier like an ordinary human. The man was so worried about his wife.
