CHAPTER 49

The door opened wide, Charlotte and Susanto walked slowly towards the altar. All eyes were on him. Perfect beauty was on the woman's face. There were no disgusting brown spots or artificial thick eyebrows there. Now there is only a beautiful face shining with a million charms. They see without blinking. Praise and admire. Charlotte is so beautiful in her wedding dress.

It was felt by the other Charlotte family. Their surprise was dominant among the guests. Sella, Shinta and Grandma are caught between believing it or not, seeing Charlotte the ugly girl who is now transformed into the perfect woman.  Shinta almost cursed in front of people so surprised.

Charlotte's down, she's sure her whole family thinks she's a liar. Their hatred must have been getting bigger to him. Charlotte kept walking, past them.

Beside Shinta, Fredy sat in silence. Not at all surprised like the people around him. She knew long ago that Charlotte had a beautiful face. She also knew the reason her ex-lover was covering her face. Charlotte always told him whatever problems that befell her from her brother and friends. Everyone was jealous of the girl's beauty, so Charlotte had to cover it up. Only Fredy, the only friend who was always by his side. Now, those memories seem to be lost as Charlotte becomes another man's wife.

Fredy's jealousy can't be contained anymore. Seeing Charlotte on the altar with another man ignited the flames of anger. Fredy chose to leave that place.

Xavier stood upright on the altar with a wedding Tuxedo attached to his body. His eyes were on Charlotte right there. His lips were pulled upwards forming a small smile. His face showed victory and satisfaction. No doubt, if Xavier can't wait for the arrival of the woman next to him.

Wait out? Huh! His attitude is excessive. They were married, not at war. Why his heart is beating. Looking at that woman casually was extremely difficult now. His eyes seemed to be magnetized just for him. Focus on Charlotte who looks charming in her eyes.

Xavier takes Charlotte from Susanto. Hold her hand and hold it tight. Their views met for a moment. Xavier invites Charlotte to approach the priestess to begin their sacred wedding vows. All the invited guests went silent to witness the sacred procession of their holy wedding. Xavier and Charlotte listen to the priest. The sound of boisterous claps behind the two brides when they have officially become a married couple. Suddenly, Charlotte's tears shed. Her marriage she opposed had taken place. The tightness in him was getting bigger. Marrying a ruthless man like Xavier was the beginning of her downfall.

“Congratulations.” Xavier's Brief.

“What do you mean?” charlotte didn't understand.

“Mistress Xavier's title is now yours. You're happy, aren't you?” xavier said with a smirk smile.

Charlotte laughs wryly, “You're teasing me? Since when am I happy with you?”

“Do not pretend. Just tell me honestly.”

“Crazy man,” umpat Charlotte while turning to get off the altar.

“Cium! Kiss!”

The guests cheers stop Charlotte's intentions. The woman stared confusedly at everyone who was compactly voicing their desires.

“Cium? Are they as insane as Xavier?” charlotte's muttering is upset. His lips were unceasingly clucking. This wedding event really got him in trouble. How could he and Xavier kiss here, in front of everyone? They don't love each other, who really has to do that shameful thing?

If he stays here for a long time, he'll have other problems. He's got to go. This is the show of the cruel man, let him take care of his guests. Just bother, Charlotte thought.

Greb!

Suddenly, Charlotte's waist was pulled from the back by Xavier. Until his body turned around and crashed into the chest of the man's field. Not to mention that his surprise was gone, Xavier immediately pulled the nape of his neck and gave him a kiss. Without warning first. Charlotte was pecking on the spot, digesting what Xavier was doing. The man kissed her! In front of everyone!! Holy hooch!

Xavier let go of his short kiss. Staring at Charlotte with another look. The ice-cold eyes now turned soft. Xavier releases Charlotte when everyone's wishes are fulfilled. The man casually returned a small smile to the guests as if doing nothing.

Xavier is now with Grandpa and Dean at a special table. Charlotte is with her best friends Mona and Lexy. Charlotte deliberately stayed away from her family. Only his two best friends could talk.

“Why are you diem trus anyway Char? Cake talk.” Cursor Lexy.

“My boss. Nothing interesting here.” Reply Charlotte lazy.

“Lu was married, why is it still lethargic? The newlyweds should be seneng, happy.” Lexy.

Lexy just laughed at Charlotte's complaint. Lexy and Mona both know how her best friend is against the marriage. When they saw Charlotte open her real face in public because of Xavier, they both felt that Xavier was not a cruel man like others thought. They feel Xavier has treated Charlotte well considering Charlotte is very difficult to open up to her current appearance.

“Udah-already. You guys that's why it's a storm.” Timpal Mona bobbing head.

“Xavier is great. Look at you like this, the more I am sure there are people will be happy you.” Lexy. With a smile of teasing.

“Halo Miss... Are you healthy? That won't happen!” refute Charlotte for a moment. Twisted his eyeballs lazily.

“Can only. Yes, right Mon?” lexy said she was looking for support.

“It looks like that. Try to keep him Char. There may be some good luck for you.” Reply Mona agrees.

“You guys why the hell? Why do you think people are?” charlotte was getting upset.

“Nggak.” Answer them simultaneously. Both were terrified that Charlotte had misunderstood.

“Awas if you guys support him!” threaten Charlotte's. Pointing at the faces of the two with a horrifying look

“Iya.”

“Good.” The two were silent rather than further angering Charlotte.

On the other hand, Xavier was sitting with Grandpa and Dean. He did not realize to be the talk of the three girls at the end there, continued to pay attention to one of the girls who was none other than his wife. No matter what they were talking about, Xavier's gaze was only centered on Charlotte's face which increasingly exuded her beautiful charm.

It did not go unnoticed by Grandpa beside him. Grandpa secretly smiled.

“Sometimes love doesn't know anyone personally huh.” Grandpa spoke as if he were talking to Dean.

“Ya Big Master?” dean asked not to understand.

“Whatever bad you are, if you already know what love is, you are only called a slave of love, right?” said Grandfather laughing as he glanced at Xavier who had now averted his eyes.

Dean immediately understood Grandpa's direction. He just smiled knot. “True Big Master. I can also see it.”

“Hey, Don't talk!” ketus Xavier stared intently at Dean who he thought was pretentious.

“I only answered the Big Lord's question, Young Master.” Said Dean calmly.

“Cih, you think I didn't hear? Face base thick.” Xavier stood up and chose to go from there. Grandpa and Dean both laughed at Xavier's behavior.
