CHAPTER 30

“Char?”

Charlotte fell silent, as if she was no stranger to that person's voice. Himself turned around. Fredy, the man was standing in front of him with a small smile. The man who had been her ex-lover now walked over to her.

“Fred? B-how did you get here?”

“Who are you?”

William was suddenly in front of Charlotte. Didn't let Fredy get close to Miss Muda.

“I should ask, who are you? Dare to prevent me from meeting my lover.” Reply Fredy did not lose ketus. His tone sounded not like William's whereabouts. Charlotte is shocked to hear Fredy confess her as a lover. When did he have the right to admit that. They are no longer lovers! You male impostor! Wasn't he lying to her yesterday?

“I'm Miss Charlotte's personal bodyguard. If you have no interest it's better to leave here. After all Miss Charlotte is my Young Master's lover, so don't be as talkative as nonsense.” William said.

“You're so chatty huh! I'm here to talk to Charlotte. And you have no right to decide.”

“Sorry Sir, I can't let you talk to Miss Charlotte. He has to go home. If you want, meet my Young Master to ask for his permission.”

“Cih, I don't need anyone's permission. Including your Young Master! Char, listen to me. I'd like to talk to you for a minute. Please?” fredy Pinta.

“What do you want to talk about, I don't trust you anymore” refused Charlotte.

“Char, please give me a chance to talk. I have a reason you should know.”

“I don't want Fred. You lied to me.”

“I have no intention of lying to you. I have a good reason. You should hear it. Please, give me some time to talk to you. I promise not to take 10 minutes. Yes?” Fredy continues to persuade Charlotte. Regaining the trust of the woman he still loves.

“Please Char?” door's back.

Charlotte was silent for a moment. Fredy looked at him with a plea.  His voice sounds serious. He was confused, between having to believe it again or not. He should have listened to the man's explanation after what he had done.

“Nona, we have to go home. Young Master will definitely look for the whereabouts of Miss.” William who stood beside her broke Charlotte's daydream. He realized that Xavier's bodyguard was still faithfully waiting for him.

“William, can you give me a minute to talk to him. I promise it won't be long.” Charlotte Pinta. Fredy who heard it directly sumringah.

“But Miss, if Young Master finds out Miss is meeting another man, Miss will be in trouble as well as me.”ujar William reminded.

“It won't, if you don't tell him. Okay. Please Will?” William was silent for a moment, seemingly thinking.

“Good. But just a minute Miss.”

“Yes. Thank you.”

After William's approval, Charlotte immediately took Fredy to the Canteen. The campus is quite quiet only a few people who follow the extra courses. It made it easier for Charlotte to talk to Fredy. They ordered drinks. As for William, Xavier's bodyguard was sitting far away from them.

“Now speak.”

“Char, thank you for giving me time-“

“Live to the point only. Tell me what you want to explain. Hurry.” Urge Charlotte. Time for them is just a little.

“OK. I understand. I wanted to apologize to you earlier. I have indeed reneged on my promise to take you away. That morning I was getting ready to pick you up at the Rest Area. But suddenly my father called and asked me to meet. Unexpectedly, there was Shinta as well. He turned out to ask my father to marry him immediately within the deadline of the end of this month.”

“I'm confused Char, on the other hand I want to go with you. Living with. But on the other hand, there's a responsibility I have to do to my father to marry Shinta.” it's frustrating.

“Only that? The answer is very simple, Fred. Marry Shinta. Didn't you guys intend to do it from the beginning without caring about me? You shouldn't have to offer help that only makes me more hurt and not trust you anymore.” Charlotte.

“You're late Fred. “ Charlotte pulls her hand from Fredy's. “My wedding is set.”

“Not yet. I know you postponed it until graduation, right? I still have a chance. Please give me some time to get us together again Char. I really love you. I want to live with you.”

Charlotte seemed to think of Fredy's remark back. The eyes of the man looked serious.

“You sure?”

“Yes. Please trust me.”

“I want to get away from Xavier. I don't want to marry him. I want to go away from that man as well as from my family.” Lirih Charlotte's.

“Sure. I'll take you wherever you want. Come on, we go together.” Take Fredy with enthusiasm. It was as if he had a green light from the woman.

Charlotte is still in doubt over Fredy's offer. But he really needs help right now. Who else could help him other than this man. Fredy loved her a long time ago. Blame him for giving her a chance? Maybe this time, if Fredy was serious about taking him away, he was sure he would be free from Xavier's entanglement.

“Good. I trust you.”

Besides, in the office, Xavier who just finished meeting with his business partner. He was suddenly surprised by the arrival of his former lover while still in college. Lyla Rosie, a woman who owns one of the most famous hotels in the city.

“Have not seen Xavi in a long time. How are you?”  lyla's greeting was interspersed with a riveting smile. Stand up from his place after a long wait.

“Good. What's the need here?” reply Xavier.

“Only stop by. All right, take you to lunch.” Answer Lyla.

“I'm not hungry. Find other partners only.” Reject Xavier walking past Lyla just like that. But the woman followed him from behind undauntedly persuading Xavier. It can not be separated from the curious view of Xavier's subordinates in the office.

“You can't go alone huh?” Xavier turned around with an annoyed face.

“You know very well what I look like. Xavi, I'm just taking you out to eat. Not to ask you to be in reverse. What's wrong?” lyla said casually.

“You're always sweet as always.” Xavier Syndicate.

“Because that's why you can like me, right?” the smile of victory they licked Lyla with satisfaction. The woman turned around and walked ahead of Xavier. The man had no choice but to follow Lyla's wishes. Freely rejecting her, the woman is very persistent in persuading Xavier.

On campus, Charlotte and Fredy are planning a way to escape William. Fredy finally asked Charlotte to come with him right then and there. It was also due to the difficult conditions to meet later. Charlotte feels guilty for William. Xavier's bodyguard looked fine, but he would have gotten him in trouble if Xavier had known he would have escaped today. Of course, William is the one who will be affected.

“Aready?” ask Fredy.

Charlotte nodded slowly. He should think about his goal at this moment. Not long after, there appeared an old woman who was frowning. Charlotte looked confused at Fredy.

Fredy smiled meaningfully and brought his face closer to Charlotte. “He will keep your bodyguard busy Char.” His whisper widened his smile.
